It would be nice if you showed where the correct colour, contrast, etc would be for a Optoma UHD52 projector are for a 4K movie as they are completely over saturated out of the box. I've had this projector for Three years and I still can't find the right settings 😕. The white scenery for example the clouds look like shiny white plastic with millions of flies in front. Please add a video showing this.
Try switching display modes. I found switching to "reference" helped although it resulted in a much darker picture which took some getting used to. Sometimes, the desire for a bright picture can result in pushing a projector beyond it's limits. As for the colour saturation, just try fiddling untilyou find what appeals to you. If you mess up, you can always reset. My tip would be to continually make a written note of the settings you try and like as you go along. This might avoid having to start from scratch if you accidentally crap things up! Good luck!

!OPTOMA projector! Does anyone have experience with the best by setting the colors on the UHD38 projector, or similar on the PS5? I have it perfect for movies, there are a lot of settings for games and I am not able to adjust it 😞
If I'm honest, I'd say this video is a gross over simplification of the process and next to useless as an aid to setting up a projector whether Optoma or any brand. I have owned two Optoma projectors, the GT1080p short throw and now the UHD35stx. Whilst displaying a nice picture, certainly so for budget units, both were equally crappy to set up. Even now, I can't get the image to fill the space without some serious work to the ceiling mount.
Fully agree... that's why TV for me in my current living room setup. Can't go through all the hassles of ceiling mounting., making space for a table to set the projector on, and so on and so forth. TVs are so easy to use - sure we sit a bit closer and have some ambient light - but much easier to live with. Projectors are great for dedicated rooms. These projector manufacturers should be be more honest in their advertising and not gloss over the complexities of projector usage.
