      The Deathly Hallows
      1. Elder Wand: Never was inherited.🤷🏻‍♂️. Stolen. Won over. Killed. And passed on. Grindelwald stole it from someone and Dumbledore defeated him in a battle and became the master of the Wand. And then it was won over by someone and then someone else🤔🤔.
2.Resurrection stone: Was one of the horcruxes and the Dumbass never realized it. Dumbledore knew it.🤔🤔.
      3. The Invisibility Cloak: Passed on from Ignotus Peverell. And then James passed it on to Harry.
Who's to say who becomes the master of Death??🤷🏻‍♂️

So Draco’s story is pretty complex. His father was a top tier Death Eater before Voldemort’s fall, but after Voldemort came back, Lucius kinda fell from grace. Draco wants to fix his family’s reputation, becomes a Death Eater as well and takes on the task of killing Dumbledore etc. His father would always tell him stories about Voldemort and how great he is, and how he can create a pure-blood society. However, Draco soon realizes that the Death Eater life ain’t all that fun, his family is basically held captive and Voldemort is abusing all of them.
So then Harry gets captured and Draco clearly recognizes him, so now he is facing a dilemma - either he can confirm it’s Harry and call Voldemort and possibly be rewarded, but what then? Voldemort kills Harry, takes over the world, but Draco isn’t stupid and realizes that his family will never be free, or worse, Voldemort won’t need them anymore so he’ll just kill them. Or, his second option, is to help Harry, because he knows that Harry is the only one who can defeat Voldemort and put a stop to all of this. And as we saw, he chose the latter option.

    • @CS-ep8kp
      @CS-ep8kp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +95

Also important to note that Lucius Malfoy gave away Voldemort's diary, which is why he fell from grace upon Voldemort's return. No one knows about Voldemort's horcruxes, so Malfoy didn't know he was giving away a part of his master's soul (all to discredit the Weasley's, btw). Voldemort was furious that Lucius lost his diary, so he punished him and Draco by ordering Draco to kill Dumbledore, thinking Draco might be killed in the process. We all know how that turned out, that Snape killed Dumbledore instead. In the books it goes into more detail about how Voldemort would torture Draco by forcing him to torture people for him, so when you see the Malfoys so shaken up that's why. It's a really great twisted up story that Draco goes through, and his redemption to Harry was big in his attempt to try and escape the Death Eaters. They'll have to see how that pans out in the next part though...

Dobby's death was much more impactful in the books as he was a recurring character after book 4 when he joins the Hogwarts staff (Hogwarts has a hundred or so house elves that clean the castle and make the food for the Great Hall feasts). In book 4 he's the one who gave Harry the Gillyweed, and told him about the Room of Requirement in book 5 - while in the movies Neville did both.
In the books when they burried him, a lot of the characters couldn't think of what to say, and it was Luna who did the eulogy ("Thank you so much, Dobby, for rescuing me from that cellar. It's so unfair that you had to die, when you were so good and so brave. I'll always remember what you did for us. I hope you're happy now.") it was very heartbreaking reading that back when it was first out and knowing we'd have to watch it one day.

That's why that family is being bullied by Voldemort. Sending Draco to kill Dumbledore was also part of the bullying cuz everyone knew he can't actually pull it off

He really needs to try a different approach whenever she asks questions. If he doesn't confirm, then she knows something is up. Like at this point she could've been totally convinced that Snape was an absolute bad guy, but because when she asked and he didn't deny it, she knows something is up.
Every time she asks something, he has to like train himself to just immediately say "Who is to say" or something in the exact same tone of voice every time. Eventually, I'm sure she'll learn to stop asking questions.

The moment when harry visits his parents grave is so much more heartbreaking in the books.
“But they were not living, thought Harry: They were gone. The empty words could not disguise the fact that his parents' moldering remains lay beneath snow and stone, indifferent, unknowing. And tears came before he could stop them, boiling hot then instantly freezing on his face, and what was the point in wiping them off or pretending? He let them fall, his lips pressed hard together, looking down at the thick snow hiding from his eyes the place where the last of Lily and James lay, bones now, surely, or dust, not knowing or caring that their living son stood so near, his heart still beating, alive because of their sacrifice and close to wishing, at this moment, that he was sleeping under the snow with them.”

Great acting also it’s kinda glossed over but in the books it’s more obvious that blondie 👱‍♂️ and his family are being held hostage and their loyalty tested because Voldemort is mad at the dad for getting caught and sent to jail at the end of movie 5 after dumbledore and Voldemort fought. That’s why he sent Draco to kill dumbeldore in movie 6 and is staying in their home in movie 7, as a sort of way to intimidate, punish, and humiliate them for their failures. The dad and others escaped prison in movie 6 but Voldemort is keeping him under house arrest basically. Voldemort is big on loyalty and rewards or punishes his followers depending on how he perceives their performance. The books go into a lot more details and he even mocks them at one point. Yeah but the problem is that like the books you have to go back several times to catch new details. You just barely miss. The books and the movies are all very detail heavy but also very cleverly subtle. Blink and you miss them. You definitely need to rewatch to catch them

17:19 Pettigrew gets let off easy here compared to the book. In the book he tries to strangle Harry with his silver hand but when Harry reminds him of when he stopped Sirius and Lupin killing Peter in Prisoner of Azkaban he hesitates and that hesitation causes the silver hand to strangle Pettigrew to death because Voldemort had enchanted it to do that if he showed even the slightest disloyalty.

Im gonna cry that this series is coming to an end now. I loved their reaction to this series so much... I was following their journey as kind of my own because whenever i see HP movies again its just like the first time the same excitement and the same level of enthusiasm. Just love your channel

I have always liked Part 1 over Part 2. I love the character work just like Jen. I thought Emma Watson should have been nominated for an Oscar for the film (Not Joking). Always love Jen’s reactions and keep up the dry humor Holden, makes me laugh every time.

As someone else pointed out Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), is Mad Eye's son. You should check out About Time if you haven't seen it. It's a very charming movie with Domhnall and Bill Nighy

I agree with Jens rating, this movie deep dives into the emotional aspect of leaving family and friends behind, not knowing if they're still alive. THe darkness that overwhelms them and threatens to tear even these closest of friends apart. The adult themes of betrayal, torture, death, loneliness, fear and doubt are expressed in every minute of this movie.

I was so happy with this adaptation, didnt think they could do the 'boring, nothing happens' section of the book justice, but they certainly did. Jen really understood what this movie was going for as well.

Holden has a ton of cool nerdy shirts obviously, but that Dexter shirt Jen is wearing is topnotch.

I’ve actually been to the beach where they filmed dobbys funeral and there’s loads of rocks that people have written “rip dobby” on just spread around in different areas

The reason how they knew which Harry Potter was the real one in the beginning. Were actually not because of Hedwig. It's because Harry constantly use the Expelliarmus spell. That's like his signature move. Everyone else is doing "kill" spells, while Harry is doing disarm spell. That's how it is in the book from what I can remember.

Jens reaction to the false vision that Ron saw was the best thing 😂😂 “Oh Heavens” as she clutched her pearls that aren’t there.

Now look at how others were around him during the earlier movies and books knowing he was a horcrux, meaning he bought out things in his Aunt but also in the books it showed later on in the books she did care and did know quite a bit about the magical side of world. also see how much more his horcrux side effected ron in goblet of fire which also enhanced effects when voldemort was returning!
