    I am Thai
I don't know if this is a technique directly from Thailand or not. Even if it's not, I'm still glad that Muay Thai has developed techniques from every nationality in the world.

It’s always nice to see the sharing of skills and knowledge between different martial arts. Buakaw always impressed me with how he blended western boxing techniques into his style

@@TheCreizyWorld Thailand is currently under threat from neighboring countries who try to claim him as the prototype of Muay Thai without any credible evidence. And the people of Thailand and many nations are trying to protect Muay Thai from those who seek to exploit Muay Thai's reputation to push their fake boxing.
Thailand has practiced this martial art as a professional boxer. There are dozens of Thai boxing matches per week. Currently, there are certified boxing camps in Thailand. And registered with the Sports Organization of Thailand in 273 places and members of the IFMA (International Federation of Muaythai Amateur), currently there are 130 countries around the world. So rest assured that this martial art will remain with Thailand. and with this world And I, as a Thai person, will not allow them to harm our national arts.

Who extends their leg like that when they throw a knee? Ridiculous.

The tech still works when you throw the knee properly to stab. These are just sparring knees.

@@devinodriscollNo, just no. It's Rong! That is all. We sparr, maybe we move slower or don't hit hard sometimes no contact. But incorrect form IS STILL incorrect form!!

I’ve literally done this on regular spear knees in clinch. You just need to time it

    This isn’t Muay thai

      No it’s modern Muay Thai.
Traditional Muay Thai is going to be very different to what you see most people around the world teaching as they like to incorporate techniques from other disciplines.

Not every version involves trying rags around your arms while horrible music plays in the background.
