Working for the current mega carrier I’m with my truck is turned up to 68 because I have a million safe miles with them . Really surprised other drivers thinking I’m governed to 62 .

The company I'm with now (also from Chicago) has the business model of "the first sucker repairs the second sucker's truck". For example, they sell the first sucker a truck that may need $10,000 worth of repairs. Sucker #1 (who thinks he's getting a truck that's been maintained) spends $4,000, gets pissed off because he's not making money and then quits. The truck is then sold to Sucker #2, but needs only $6000 of repairs. He spends $3000 then rage quits, and so on and so forth, with Suckers 3, 4, 5, etc. The company doesn't have to pay for any repairs, because the suckers are footing the bill under the auspices of a $3000/wk income lie. I'm quitting as soon as I get the first month of rent paid in my new apartment

SuperEgo is run by non Americans and will screw you over every chance they get. Go to their terminal. It looks like a homeless camp. Guys are actually sleeping in trucks that aren't assigned to them because they are broke and have to wait around to try and get a truck. The dispatchers don't know what they're doing and do not understand how the clock works. They expect you to work day and night without breaks, which is in violation of the trucking regulations, but they don't care. Their turnover is 1000%.
Not only did he admit that, he talks like he doesn't know its illegal. He's also not looking at his pay statements to see how they are killing him with additional fees and that's why he making very little after all these extra runs.
I wasn't getting pay statements when I was supposed to. I got one until after I quit then I got a couple more. They say you get paid on Mondays but then it's Thursday and still no statements or pay. They have lots of excuses on why.

I unload my own trailer with a forklift an electric pallet jack between 7 stops. For me for ex.. i worked n the move buis for 22 yrs . Im 63 an can still hit those stairs if i wanted to. It's actually very expensive, especially when you don't have the money to do so to start with, and it's not just one hit, and you're done. Every month, there are costs that pop up without any warning, and if you don't have a big stash of cash on hand, you are screwed.
You can actually get a truck for 5k down and payments under 2k a month. That's what I did. Then they give you 45 days til first payment and my insurance company gave me 30. All so you can get some runs in before the Bills come in. I wouldn't advise running g under your own authority in this market though. I went with a company that has many accounts throughout the country and they keep me moving. But, if you have 10k, you can get into a truck. I've got a 2019 Peterbilt with less than 500k miles

Yes, they do, but sometimes you don't always find a good fit right away. What works for one driver doesn't always work for another. Western Express is one of the worst companies out there. He knows because he worked for them for a short time before taking the truck back. They will screw you over as much as they can and play the victim. Still to this day, I cant understand why truckers can't do basic math in their heads. Naivety or gullibility, they get all aroused over a turbocharged diesel sitting way up in the sky king of the road opportunity. When a three minute pause doing basic head math, anyone can calculate it's a financial wash/loss, or at best the equivalent of a Home Improvement Store job and home every night with a beautiful warm loving family. But they leave their families for weeks and months just for a cheap thrill and ego boost. Selfish. You all know damn full well that the big money in trucking is in the office, skimming those rate cons. Yet instead, you climb behind the wheel for an ego power trip.

I drove with them, and it didn't take me three months to earn anything, only two weeks before I saw my first check. I've done a lot of leasing in my twelve years, and although Superego Holding isn't perfect, they're definitely not the worst, in my opinion. I like them a lot, but that's just me. I'm very happy with them. I think the reason people quit Superego Holding and other outfits that do lease purchases is that they lack experience and don't have an understanding of business or how to run their truck properly. Some people must have believed that once they purchased their own tractor, the money would skyrocket, only to be left with the reality and rude awakening. It takes a lot of responsibility, planning and understanding of how a lease works and you have to understand it's a business there will be bad weeks where you might break even and there will be weeks you're banking heaving you just gotta stick it out, truth is if you fell at a lease you won't necessarily do better as a owner opp there's tons of owner opps with a single truck who go out of business all the time.
I've seen literally hundreds of bad reviews on Super Ego and maybe a couple good ones who for all we know were made by the company. Let's be honest... they are very very shady with bad business practices. Definitely are not run like other carriers their size. It looks like their entire business model is to get as much free labor as possible. Just keep recycling drivers once they leave with no money

He has had several of his own trucks. Trucking is expensive. If you're leased to a decent company that isn't screwing you over, then you can make great money, but it's finding the right company.

And this is the deal after you've paid for the one you're driving you need to already be saving for the one that you're going to buy next all that money you're making snot to be spending toys. So instead of have to finance trucks at crazy interest rate you can pay cash for the next truck

It's actually very expensive, especially when you don't have the money to do so to start with, and it's not just one hit, and you're done. Every month, there are costs that pop up without any warning, and if you don't have a big stash of cash on hand, you are screwed.

You can actually get a truck for 5k down and payments under 2k a month. That's what I did. Then they give you 45 days til first payment and my insurance company gave me 30. All so you can get some runs in before the Bills come in. I wouldn't advise running g under your own authority in this market though. I went with a company that has many accounts throughout the country and they keep me moving. But, if you have 10k, you can get into a truck. I've got a 2019 Peterbilt with less than 500k miles

Yes, they do, but sometimes you don't always find a good fit right away. What works for one driver doesn't always work for another. Western Express is one of the worst companies out there. He knows because he worked for them for a short time before taking the truck back. They will screw you over as much as they can and play the victim. If you scroll back through his videos, you'll see a video about his experience with them.

Still to this day, I cant understand why truckers can't do basic math in their heads. Naivety or gullibility, they get all aroused over a turbocharged diesel sitting way up in the sky king of the road opportunity. When a three minute pause doing basic head math, anyone can calculate it's a financial wash/loss, or at best the equivalent of a Home Improvement Store job and home every night with a beautiful warm loving family. But they leave their families for weeks and months just for a cheap thrill and ego boost. Selfish. You all know damn full well that the big money in trucking is in the office, skimming those rate cons. Yet instead, you climb behind the wheel for an ego power trip.
Trust me there is no ego trip here. Definitely not gullible either. Been driving for 32 years and have run on my own authority and have made really good money over the years. Economy changing has a lot to do with rate. Not all companies have good ethics.

I drove with them, and it didn't take me three months to earn anything, only two weeks before I saw my first check. I've done a lot of leasing in my twelve years, and although Superego Holding isn't perfect, they're definitely not the worst, in my opinion. I like them a lot, but that's just me. I'm very happy with them. I think the reason people quit Superego Holding and other outfits that do lease purchases is that they lack experience and don't have an understanding of business or how to run their truck properly. Some people must have believed that once they purchased their own tractor, the money would skyrocket, only to be left with the reality and rude awakening. It takes a lot of responsibility, planning and understanding of how a lease works and you have to understand it's a business there will be bad weeks where you might break even and there will be weeks you're banking heaving you just gotta stick it out, truth is if you fell at a lease you won't necessarily do better as a owner opp there's tons of owner opps with a single truck who go out of business all the time.

I've seen literally hundreds of bad reviews on Super Ego and maybe a couple good ones who for all we know were made by the company. Let's be honest... they are very very shady with bad business practices. Definitely are not run like other carriers their size. It looks like their entire business model is to get as much free labor as possible. Just keep recycling drivers once they leave with no money

I've been an O/O for most of my career so I know how to run my business. When the economy is in trouble it affects everyone and you do what you have to, to survive. Sometimes your choices are not great but you try to pick the best offer and it's not always the best.
