My question is this, do you guys get paid for every load? Like you drop a load, they send you money? Or do you have a certain cutoff period? One thing I hate about the company I'm with, they have a cutoff period and I can never meet the deadline. For instance, if I was in Seattle Monday morning, if I bust my ass, get to LA Tuesday for 3,500, but get reloaded Wednesday for $6,000, but you already know the load is going to the coast or to Miami, I won't be able to make it before Friday, which is the cutoff day. Now for that week, did I gross 9,000? Yes, but it's going to be split on two different pay periods, which also will put me in a hole because I pay dispatch 20% fuel for this week and next week plus two truck notes I got all of that too, but I do have a leg up in the game because I got this good load starting next week out. So the only thing I have to do now is maybe run a New York load for three grand and I'll be straight.

He's right I was over there you need some money before you show up(You not getting huge advances....hotel rooms...and you get just enough fuel to idle about a night or so if you sit over the weekend at the yard orientation they'll give you a little more fuel)about 10 gallons lol)...you need to see some daylight on your situations at home(Bill's)before you make that jump.....It takes about 3 to 6 months before you seeing some real profit even if you buy a truck from the lot which I've done both....last but not least all the money's isn't yours pay yourself yes but put money back so you have a cushion don't go out here in one month and start buying stuff....Stay safe Blessing and I Enjoy and appreciate your content Mac Lyfe....oh yes keep that LEFT door shut you got to actually go to work also....
