Wow. My experience was so eerily similar to yours. However I went to MN89 before SuperEgo. Same story, MN89 had decent equipment but I lost money trying to keep it on the road. It was to the point that I thought there was some sort of sabotage involved. I had a better experience at SuperEgo but nothing great. I’m in a much better position now. I absolutely would NOT recommend either company!!

I went to MN89. Did paperwork n they took me to pick a truck. All were damaged due to poor driving skills so I choose the lesser of evils. Mine had no securement for fire extinguisher. And seat was not properly bolted to floor. So I asked to have fixed before dispatch. Nope had to deal with a bully dispatch. I stood my ground. So they pulled into shop, jerry rigged the above mentioned then rushing like hell they backed into the closed shop door. Couldnt get the truck out of the shop from that point. Then they refused to put me in motel so I just flew home.
Let's tell these people to stay away from Chicago companies. As far as taking down video... I would name the amount and once you agreed on the amount and they paid you, leave it up and tell them that's what it feels like when you get screwed. Give them a taste of their own medicine. They may threaten with getting the law involved but those crooked ass people don't want the law anywhere near their company.

EVERYTHING IS AFFECTING SAFETY SCORE - its same, warning or ticket, for the company safety score is the same, and experienced driver needs to know that...LIKE MOST OF YOU KNOW THAT So long story short, there are always 2 sides to a story, do not push drivers from the company because of your personal bad experience, because (I SEE THE NAMES :) ) most of the drivers who comment things are our mistake that they are even accepted from our side. So in one week from the moment of application, you can be in the truck, already making money with 0$ investment, and what are guys expecting? To the company to gift them all? To make 0? Or do drivers decide how much companies will make? Come on, be realistic, and the company will be realistic with you. If you want to drive and make money you can, but if you want to act like you are some BOSS and spend a few days weekly at home and trying to buy the truck, don't even come not in MN89, do not go to any of lease to purchase companies. More than 25 trucks sold out to our drivers who finished our program, 200+ trucks on the road, and 200+ satisfied drivers, come and see.... Satisfied drivers are driving and they are not surfing the internet talking some nice stories about companies, they are driving and making money So every story has 2 sides, don't believe in just one side!
ive been driving with MN89 for the past 6 months and ive been grossing 8500-9,000 and after fuel and tolls and deductions with truck and trailer im bring home 2100-2575.00 a week and im living on that its not bad you have to put your mind to it. you cant just quit your first 2-4 weeks are going to be rough but you can make it, ive been to super ego and they suck, mn89 take 1,000-1300 from me for truck and trailer and everything. i have no complaints with them. come on board with us MN89.
I've been in 3 lease situations. None of them turned out in my favor . Took me 3 times to figure it out but I got it . Any lease you are just a company bitch with all the bills .
Why did you whimper when you said you'll be a company driver at the next outfit and then cried that you didn't like that. You do realize you have been a company driver the entire time right? You paid their truck payment and then some
MN89 filters all negative comments on their Facebook ads, they also delete negative comments from their Google business page and post fake 5 star reviews. Its all very simple to understand the lease purchase with MN89, get the take home pay and divide it by the total miles you drove that week, you'll realize that you just agreed to driver pay except you're responsible for a truck payment when you take home time while a driver is free and clear.

I used to work with mn89 the reason why they don't want you talking to the Brokers is because they're doing the same thing at SUPEReeeGO they are taking so much off the top and be careful with these 1099 companies you would have to pay all those taxes back at the end of the year if you're not a independent contractor a lot of Chicago companies are getting out of business that's what I was told are being investigated by the feds because they're doing 1099 without being an owner operator it's because they don't want me paying payroll taxes
