My bff started off with Prime and did OTR and lived on his truck for a year. He had an awesome trainer and was able to get out of a financial mess he was in. He left to start driving local. Keep driving girl!!!❤❤❤
Thank you💚💚
Keep trucking sis. Be safe out there.
I’m local now and thinking about leasing a truck and going back otr
What company you work for I need to get that type of money cuz I’m in a financial crisis 😢
@@elliottcruz1874 man I drive for Sysco work 4 days a week and home everyday gross around 1600-1700 a week. It’s hard work though. Our drivers that work 5 days gross 2-2300 a week
I’m glad your going through your journey the way YOU want to and blocking out all the negativity
Good video. I'm glad your 1st. week was successful, hope you have many more weeks like that. Drive safely my beautiful friend. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
You are a very smart successful young lady. Keep that motivation and determination going you are very bless
Respect the hustle Sis, I’m training now to get my CDL. I’m a registered nurse but would like another side hustle to switch things up. Be safe out there!
Why not be a traveling nurse and make bank!
I would have done that when I was younger. I no longer work bedside or case management. I have a great job now and work part time as a correctional nurse.
My reason for doing this is to potentially have something to fall back on should I want a break from nursing, but I appreciate your feedback.
@@jamaramonet5020 How’s the journey working out for you?
I love your channel. It’s great to see a sister doing her thing 👍🏽👍🏽
You go young lady👍🏿
You must got a good dispatcher on your side I've known 3 people that worked for prime and wasn't making that in 2 weeks! Keep it up make that money hun
Im a company auto hauler and i average $1.90 a mile/ average $3000 a week. Home every weekend . These companies and their lease trucks are getting over

Great job 👏🏽! Congratulations again! I know you’re going to do well.
Congratulations slime much success keep it up girl❤❤🙏🔥🙏
You’re so real appreciate the content and transparency I’m still on the fence to pull the trigger but you are giving great insight to the lifestyle thank you 🙏🏾
Gr8 to see you doing well, please stay safe and profitable out there. I like the way you set up the office.
ALWAYS KEEP AT LEAST $30k IN YOUR BUSINESS ACCOUNT FOR MAINTENANCE.. GOOD LUCK YOUNG LADY.. 25 year driver/owner operator 👍🏾
Since we tossing around numbers might as well say 3mil
@@texastrucker9183 more like not everyone can afford to set aside such high dollar amount. Sounds good though..... isn't the rule of thumb to have 6 months of rent/mortgage in a savings account? Quite confident that's not majority of Americans....OP was very cavalier throwing that 30k figure out there.
Onward and Upward, no limits, safe travels!✌🏾🙏🏽
Stay Blessed Up & Keep Going BEYOND Your Goals!
Great to see you being successful. I am in CDL school now and will take my test October midweek. I am thinking about applying to Prime.
Proud of you Slimepack!, keep doing what you do!, I leased with prime and grossed over 200k, it can easily be done. Thats with a $1700 a week overhead...and took 2 weeks off at a time...aaand made 10k at the end of my lease....people kmock it, but it's all in how you run that truck.
Thank you so much!!
@@Slimepack392 And you're so welcome!, i've been checking out all your videos...i'm a subscriber and big fan! Stay safe out there and keep the dirty side down! 8)
@@Slimepack392 Good afternoon, I have a friend that I am referring to prime, can I have her put your name as a referral?
Niiiice 🥰 so happy you're enjoying yourself! I love the setup💚
That’s good keep working and making that money. Love your truck. You made a good choice. Be safe out there.
Hey i drove for 27yrs medical retired & 1st week you did well & fine & 1st lease will be your hardest & having that "Head Start" many dont have that extra extra now those extras have to very slowly be your side reimbursements, your Trucking acct & your bills are ready your settlements +remember your a baby lol & always remember SAVE & Success On &Happy Trails 🚛 🙏
Thank you for the great advice and fine tips! B safe out there!
Great job! Former flatbed/heavy hual here. You can still make money in this business today! Forget the negative, stay positive. Keep on trucking & be safe 😎
YOU DOING THE MOST!!! AS YOU SHOULD!!! WAIT!! ROESES!!! THEY STILL AROUND?? WOW!!! REMEMBER THAT STORE FROM THE 70S. PROUD OF YOU SWEETHEART!!
If you like to travel this is a great job. And if you have no kids! I came home from Schneider in January. I have a family so I came home. The time I was missing from my kid wasn't worth the money. Rates not what they used to be.
You got this down packed!! I’m taking notes, I’m not gonna lie I have no clue about leasing a truck. I new to all this since I’ve been trucking.
Educating her on understanding how money works isn’t negative …. It’s caring !!!
Here’s the expense’s to “ pay to play “ as it were ….
1) fuel
2) trailer
3)tractor
4) insurance
5) tires
6) accountant
7) SEP
8) the company’s cut
So, as a owner operator you are expected to know these thing going into it while everyone knows most folks don’t…..
Sharing knowledge from credible sources is not should ever be interpreted as “ hate “ ….
It’s called guidance ! Caring about the other worker !
Having said all that congratulations on being able to have the opportunity to make a difference.
Man I can’t get enough of your complexion
I love seeing my fellow black American millennial/gen-Z getting money driving trucks !! Via CDL , this is beautiful especially seeing more black millennial/gen-Z women getting there CDL, keep up the good work! You are a true inspiration
my homeboy lease purchase with prime and I'm a company driver with another company... he making them numbers too and trying to get me to slide to Prime too... them Peterbilts making me want to come right on over lol
Freightliners are the most dependable.

Hey i just came across your video and just subscribed. I appreciate the info you shared. I will say this though, YOU dont owe any of us a reply nor should you feel obligated to prove anything to the ones disrespecting you. Turn & earn Young Lady! Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan u are doing wonderful I'm so proud of and I'm glad I meet u, can u teach me how to pre plan bc I'm running off of recaps lol
All the haters in the comments are MEN! 😂😂😂 Keep doing your thing lady you are doing something right ❤
You got it going on Queen the sky is no limit
Keep going!! 💚💪🏾 Drop the merch!!!
I drove for prime awhile back they are a good company to start with in my opinion but as long as you have a clear goal you can make money with them. You should calibrate the load scale on the truck when you get loaded heavy, so you don't have to scale out
Dam ppl hella haters in these comments lame af she doing her thing on a dangerous job keep doing you stay safe and prayers 👏🏻🙌🏻also is this out of state ?
The first video of truck driving i saw, where you even film under the trailer and film the fifth wheel also, don't see that in other videos, that tells me that you are concerned with every aspect of the job, stay safe out on the road delivering goods and services for families.
Your lil setup dope keep going sweetie 💙🚛
She’s going places. No cap
Keep on trucking 🚚 you're doing great 👍.... Be careful out there and enjoy that Peter car! Lobe ❤you're videos, girlfriend.
Prime in lawsuit with predatory leasing practices. FMCSA about to bust that program up.
Love to here about them numbers.. Hopefully soon I’ll Be joining Prime lease But I’ll Be pulling tankers and some Folks said it easy sometimes But you Be safe out there
Thank you for sharing all this info! It really is helping me plan my start.
Great content! Hey! I know you were at once time going tanker are you still interested in that division?
Yes, In the near future
Get that money and be careful and safe out there ❤
That's not bad at all for what miles you run , You times that by 4 You're doing good at the end of the month 🕶
Nice, sister It's always nice to see all of you Drivers doing what you like
Peace and Blessings ...........................................................
I’m so happy for you continue your journey
You did your thing, I like how you set the truck up!!
Thank you💚
I hope everything works for you. I've been a company driver, an owner operator. Now I'm an independent contractor.
I really admire you for being an entrepreneur, I wish you success
Keep up. Never give up. Congratulations, you positive God bless you 🙏
Dammmm the video started with 3 things I love 😍😍👍🏽
I love your vibe!!! Got me feeling more encouraged to go OTR solo
My sneaky link told me that you can also move empty containers
Seems like some quick easy money
Good Luck Girl ❤
I wish you none but success just keep on learning
Prime told me, going 4 weeks out and after expenses you get only 2000.00 a week. That’s what a recruiter told me and I told her “thank you for your time goodbye.”
If $2000 is nothing to you then thank you for quitting so people like me can get that money
That's good depending on how much of a head start you gave yourself.. Prime seems underrated...
Leave plastic down and get u a bath rug to go down
You' re really motivating me to do trucking ❤
Sounding good soo far, I'm really thinking about doing it myself, Peace ✌. Keep safe, Peace ✌.
After you deduct your incidentals such as fuel mileage ,equipment and maintenance expenses etc. those numbers will vary.
God bless you & your new Truck 👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾🙏🏾👏🏾🤟🏾❤️
Thank you so much 🤗, You stay blessed also!
@@Slimepack392 Hey NO THANKS EVER NEEDED BUT YOUR ALWAYS WELCOME 👍🏾👌🏾🙏🏾👏🏾🤟🏾❤️❤️❤️
Great video. How long do you have to stay in that lease before you can walk away without any issues? And aren’t yall governed out at 64?
Congrats 😳🔥🔥 i bet u is loving that truck 😂
I leased from Prime for 3 years my truck note was $900 a week and that was back in 2016
How much is it today?
Monthly Quarterly Yearly matters far more for success and failure unfortunately then weekly. Hope them numbers stay solid.
Nice setup!
Don’t forget to put money aside for payroll taxes. Uncle Sam and the State will take a chunk every quarter. Set yourself a good accountant!
I just passed my CDL Exam. I'll be going to TMC for my flatbed journey.
Who asked
@@cmcpics291😂😂😂
horrible company they have a horrible attitude towards people of color they let half the blacks go during training
TMC is a good trucking company, they pay by the percentage of the load. The guy from Was in my CDL classes trying to recruit me. He originally from Buffalo New York. I remember him clearly telling me that.
Congratulations bro. Wishing you all the best
Great video keep it coming you got this
Gotta question ,its cool your trying to keep it new looking by leaving the plastic on butt really what your doing is keeping it new for the next person thatll lease the Truck when you give itvup
I left prime for a medical reason
Seeing this make me wanna get back otr fr 4K to travel is seriously good money
Good video. Keep bringing good content. God bless
I hope you are successful i really am but when you get two years experience otr I'd look for dedicated regional. I worked at Prime for 8 years and now work dedicated home three nights a week and making 103k as a company driver. I always recommend Prime as a starter company but otr is a joke.
@nickferdinande5147 what company are you with?
This video made me hit the subscribe button and the like button
Thanks so much 💚
I see you Big Pete ❤💚. And how the heck did you get that camera 🎥 angle at the beginning 🤔🔥💯
🤝Yesir! I got a new mount
@@Slimepack392 that’s what’s up stay safe queen 👸🏾
Keep going you make money it’s just up and down
My local workforce officer is paying for my CDL! I just need to pay off my 3 tickets in order to start the class. I want to get all the tickets dismissed so I can keep my clean MVR but that’s going to take a while to complete.
You got a lawyer?
@@Slimepack392 nope, I don’t need one. My tickets are over a year old. I’ll just need to call every court as ask to take defensive driving or get a deferred plea deal. There’s just one that I won’t be able to get dismissed as I was violating a “CDL” restriction even though I don’t have a CDL.
Great content slime you got me motivated to make the move to Prime
Facts same here😂
Don't do it, they will rip you off. Prime Inc is one of the worst companies out there.
im in springfield now in the PSD Phase I'm going into lease once I'm done w with TNT I was going to be company local doing intermodal back home but I want to be over the road and leasing. I watch you're videos all the time.
Great content jaz
That's 48cpm after taxes. Company driver pay is 53cpm after taxes with a worth of 10cpm for bennies, so 63cpm.
Can u show the math on how u came up with 48 cents. Cause the miles is 2824 and her supposed net was 4019 that’s 1.42 a mile
Are you saying Prime company drivers are making more than $5k a week?
@@JButttertv Same, I rounded to about 2700 miles. This dude just doesn't know what he's talking about.
I came up with 0.49 cpm.
@JButttertv prime pays their lease drivers on a different scale depending on the load they're paid by the mile or they get a percentage of the load
Keep grinding queen and stay safe out there♥️🍫
Very nice job kept it up proud of you
Be safe out there. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This woman is soooooo amazing. I have never seen anyone so beautiful. Her accent , skin tone , eyes, , business mind. I wish I could meet this woman
Accent ?
Lame
Outstanding work
Weighing my options on the lease purchase. Did you setup your own LLC and own business account or is everything through prime?
Good luck and keep the shiny side up. You got this. Good pay for first week. I assume that was before truck payment, IFTA, Bobtail insurance, don’t forget the taxes (remember your Independent Contractor tax cost is all you) not like W-2 taxes, fuel, maintenance escrow, and the other cost.
Just remember to keep money aside for the taxes every quarter and you’ll be fine. Congratulations on the first week down.
my new favorite youtuuuber!!
Soo you didn't subtract the truck payment? How much is it?
That's good pay. For living do you own or rent. I get nervous on owning while driving for work cause anything can happen
Man this was not what I was getting, I had to move on and now I’m happy where I’m at and learning to drive manual and about to get my restriction off for no manual. Cause I did a test in a automatic
Glad to see you
Doing great slime pack keep on trucking sister ❤
You gotta automatically deduct a % off that end net amount, ie., savings to reimburse yourself for that loan to yourself to launch. Mile by mile, day by day, remain positive, be safe, get used to taking off the end net for business related savings.
In the airport shuttle business we operate fleets but only after knowing what our revenues project at. We can do the math in our head but big rigs cost more in maintenance, towing. I would guesstimate you need 3.75 per mile but ultimately you work for yourself, paid on distribution via LLC or Inc.
I could never go back to driver OTR once I factored quality of life vs. logging miles. Its okay to run 18 hrs a day as a shuttle driver, not for individual semi drivers. At worse, we get a CHP inspection. At best, take vacations for 3 months out of the year.
Don’t stay in Trucking to long. Have an exit strategy
Had a exit strategy before coming in 💚
@@Slimepack392I hope it's real estate investing.
@@misunderstoodkj just as volatile as trucking if not worst😂. Nothing about real estate is passive.
