Thank you guys for the amazing response on this reaction I've had it on the list for a while but I finally got to it and It's going down. Thank you for sharing these links Imma get on it ASAP! 🙏🏼💪🏼🤘🏼👊🏼😎
hello my friend, you just got into a Jinjer musical addiction > i heard Jinjer for the first time about 5 years ago and knew immediately that this band is something absolutely extraordinary. Jinjer is much more than a metal band, Jinjer is one of the best bands I've heard in the last decades across genres!!! Since I've been a musician myself for over 40 years and I love music, it doesn't happen that often for me that I've been so enthusiastic about a band for years as I am with Jinjer. Jinjer makes a very complex music that sometimes overwhelms me, but that's a good thing....! I take the time I need to understand Jinjer musically > it's worth it in every respect, also as far as the lyrics are concerned. Jinjer has no musical weaknesses. many thanx for your reaction and welcome to the Jinjer family. lovely greetings from germany
She was still but a wee babe here. 23 or 24 years old. Ten years later she becomes the queen of metal, one of the top 10 active growlers and the #1 best female growler.
You're going to love this band. Full stop. This band is in a league of their own. Wait no more. Treat yourself to one of the greatest metal bands to come along in our lifetimes. (I'm 52) You're in for a treat 🤘
Welcome to Jinjer, very cool that you are starting with baby Jinjer! I really hope yo continue with this amazing band who, in my opinion, don't have a bad song!
Jinjer is from the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. Tatiana is the singer and as you've found out, she's an incredible vocalist, with an amazing ability to instantly transition back and forth from her beautiful clean singing voice to some of the best harsh vocals on the planet. The bassist, Eugene, and guitarist with the beard, Roman, are still the same, but they no longer have a 2'nd guitarist and their current drummer, Vlad, replaced the guy in this video in 2016. I would recommend checking out Perennial (live from Wacken 2019 video), Teacher, Teacher (official video), Judgement and Punishment (Tatiana's live one take vocal performance video), Wallflower (official video) and Home Back (official video). BTW, Tatiana has fixed her lack of tattoos...she now has full sleeve tattoos on both arms, a couple leg tattoos and a large tattoo on the front of her neck! 😆
This was 10 years ago, you will love her tattoo progression over the years. Two full sleeves, a neck tat of Quetzalcoatl and a belly tat that says "Trust your gut".
Hello. Cool to see someone begin by the beginning :) . They evoluate with time but always keep what do a Jinjer song. In this one Tatiana has still her "teenager voice" :D They are top live. The 3 guys (not the same drum now and one less guitar) are illustration of sync.
Hey that's the second compliment I got on starting with some old stuff I had it on the list for a while I'm glad I seen the older stuff and now you guys can set me on the journey down the road on the new stuff Thank you and thanks for watching!! I got the Lamb of God cover coming next for sure!!
Tatiana from Jinjer one of the best Female leads (my favorite) just released a Lamb of god song in LA laid to rest. They are on tour right now going to see them again in July with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. One of their best song Pit Of Consiousness live in Kiev. Too many great songs to list. Great reaction, have a great day.
Randy from Lamb of God is one of Tati's big influences. Back then they tried to write groove metal-style riffs like Lamb of God and Chimaira. Here's Tati singing at a charity event Laid to Rest with a crew of rock stars including Alex (her husband) on drums. th-cam.com/video/t1KWJeP53WI/w-d-xo.html
Oh my God I got this on the list now I knew it I knew it I hit it Lamb of God You guys going to make me go down this rabbit hole crazy Chimaira? I love Chimaira!! Let's go! Thank you and thanks for watching!!
Jinjer has been around a while. Anything from the Cloud Factory album (this performance included) or before was more groove metal oriented. They played in drop C and had two guitarists. From their King of Everything album going forward, they went down to one guitarist and moved to drop A. There's still a lot of groove in their drop A stuff, but added some djentier heavies as well. It's all great and they honestly don't have a bad song. Roman talks about Lamb of God and Chimaera being an influence in this interview th-cam.com/video/FjfBF57h2Eo/w-d-xo.html
You still got at least 20 very good tracks and vids to go, it's not a one day fly but a world class 3 piece unit with an absurd and very atractive frontsinger, this Ukranian wonder is nothing less than a little miracle. Succes and have fun.
This video is the studio recording laid over the live video. There is a version with the 'original live audio' that is just as impressive. I've seen them live and honestly they're the best live band I've ever seen. For a true live performance and a more recent track, I'd suggest "Pit of Consciousness' live in Kiev. Jinjer's vocalist Tatiana is amazing, but the more you listen to them, the more you come to understand the band around her is just as amazing. Tatiana is a self admitted procrastinator and the rest of the band gets on her for this pretty much every album. Their song "Wallflower" addresses this directly, both in lyrics (written by Tatiana) and the OMV. Although you see 5 members in Outlander, they are now a 4 member band. The rhythm guitarist, Dmitriy Oksen left on good terms... as have ALL of their past members. Honestly, it's kind of weird in this day and age, but Jinjer seems to be a family of current members and extended family made up of former members. I'm sure I'll post some specifics later as you delve into this band.
The video you reacted to is live video with studio audio. The official live is legitimately live & sounds very nearly as good - the only thing I miss is the backing vocals Tati sings for the studio track. JINJER - Outlander OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO (live at Loadfest 3.0) Randy Blythe is definitely one of Tati's influences. They've delved more into progressive metal since 2014. They're an incredibly talented band well worth delving into.
Yes, my favorite metal band! They are incredible. I saw them live in Atlanta in December, they killed it. To really see how brutal they are live check out "Pit of Consciousness" (Live in Kiev): th-cam.com/video/vEhxuNuHWls/w-d-xo.html. Enjoy!
Jinjer - Vortex m.th-cam.com/video/AiaOSGZTwtY/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUNdm9ydGV4IGppbmplcg%3D%3D From their latest album. This is one of, if not their best. Phenomenal riffs, jazz influenced drumming, and DEEP growls.
This is the one I'd probably recommend the most, though, along with Tatiana's one-take vocal performance of their reggae-metal classic "Judgement and Punishment", which I'll link in the next post. Enjoy your trip down the Jinjer rabbit hole, this is one of the absolute best metal bands on the planet today! th-cam.com/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/w-d-xo.html
If you like the heavier stuff I suspect you'll love Jinjer's Sit Stay Rollover. It's the track that got them signed with Napalm Records. Obligatory link: th-cam.com/video/a98LI-arNS4/w-d-xo.html
I get to see them live in August!!! I can’t wait!! Tatiana is a little badass!!! Check out Who is gonna be the one. Live. It’s shows her lowest growl. Can’t wait for you to go down the Tatiana rabbit hole. More tattoos.
It's cool to see someone start with a different song than people normally start with. The newest stuff would be Wallflower, Mediator and Vortex. Prior to that is a long list of good stuff on TH-cam. If you prefer live videos most of them are on this list. th-cam.com/play/PLhlYsqoR9XLEpHTbaOovrpa1p8L2uZ81G.html A few other good early songs would be No Hoard of Value, Cloud Factory, Plus or Minus.
Mediator is a great newer song. Judgement and Punishment (One Take) is killer and she is wearing a bikini top. Really, nothing is a bad song choice for the next reaction, TBH. Congrats on finally finding Jinjer.
Krysta Cameron from Iwrestledabearonce is amazing. Courtney has been better served moving with Mike to Spiritbox. But Jinjer...I wouldn't say they are the best metal band, because that doesn't exist. There are too many flavors. They are, however, unique. They are top tier in everything they do.
Yeah I think I have it on the list actually so I've been working my way up from the oldest to the newest I'm determined Thank you and thanks for watching!!
This is not live, it's the studio audio over the live footage. The official (and real) live version is on their YT channel. Next time you refer to their nationality, please don't say the Ukraine, say only Ukraine.
The blonde guitarist Dmitry was at the time one of the original members. Today none are. Originally the band was an all guy group. Dmitry, whom i mentioned, still keeps in touch with them and infact was in their recent videos off their new album Wallflower

Jinjer is a great rabbit hole. Their sound has changed from album to album, but always awesome.

We're not yet in 2024.
Perennial live at wacken
Pit of Consciusness live in Kiev
You will love their newer material. Keep going down the rabbit hole.
Jinjer are insane. Awesome breakdowns, they blend genes such as Reggae, Rap, Jaz with their metal. 🤘😎🤘
the roots of greatness were planted......and an epic band was born......and epic band they are
