There are no original people in the band. Everyone had changed out by the time they got popular. In fact none of them know how the band got it's name. They lost one of these guitarist because he wanted to become an actor. In fact he later played the interegator in their video "Disclosure". And they got another drummer. The best way to date a Jinjer video is by checking the tattoos on Tatiana.
The only original member of the band here that I'm certain of is Dmitriy Oksen on rhythm guitar. Tati, Eugene and Roman are not original members, but have been with the band since 2011. Oksen left to pursue an acting career and you can see some of his work in the official video for "Disclosure" off Jinjer's last album. He plays the 'interrogating officer' and as I've said before, this is another example Jinjer's relationship with former members. As far as better or worse, I think the entire band has improved over time, but these older tracks are still great! If you want one from around this time, "Scissors" is one of my favorites, or for the newest "Disclosure" is a good one and you'll get to check out their former rhythm guitarist's acting ability.
To answer your question, she is definitely better now with the screams/growls. Not saying she wasn't good then, but now Tati is on another level!! That also goes with her regular singing voice.
The only thing I hate about this song is that it's not 3 minutes longer than it is! I listened to this one on repeat for like a week after I first heard it, lol. It was shortly after this when Tati had a little bit of a mental breakdown and chopped her dreads off and why her hair was so super short in the video for "I speak astronomy" . As for her vocal technique; then vs. now, I personally think she's gotten better over time...well, not necessarily better but more comfortable with both her growls and cleans so her flow is more relaxed, if that makes sense. Thanks so much for this reaction! Now you gotta check out "Perennial" live at Wacken (pronounced vacken)
You're thinking about Eugene Mantulin. He fell out a window and broke his back. He does his own thing now and plays guitar, since he can't play drums anymore. The drummer here is Dimtry Kim, the fill in.
The only original member in this video is Dmitriy Oksen the guitarist with a red shirt, long hair and no beard. Both guitarist and bassist with short hair and beards are Eugene and Roman and their are stil in the band today.
4:08 the thing is she can still do what she did back then and some more... now she's more versatile, her low growl range expanded, same with the high pitch scream (like that crazy scream you heard in Pit of Consciousness) and even her singing range, she shows more agility now and also hits some crazy high notes. Basically nothing of old Tati's voice was lost, just expanded.
Sorry I missed Metalhead Monday. I was in Chicago Seeing JINJER LIVE! They are just as good live. Weird having a Monday Concert, but damn they have s good Show.
As a guitarist I know that feeling. Had a fuse blow in my amp while performing. Learned a valuable lesson to always have spare fuses not just extra guitar strings. Luckily one of the other bands had their amp back lined behind mine and they let me use theirs for the reminder of our set. Tati’s screams here are in a different placement/technique than her current style. I don’t mine either but I prefer her her style now. However, outlander is one of my top favs of Jinjer’s
Great Reaction!! Love early jinjer!!!!(no hoard of value)is my all time favorite!!! i think tatiana's sing is better now but i think in the early years i think she was a bit more experimental with working on her growls than she is now.
I think I like both. Different but both are good. The absolute earliest stuff might not been as good but it really didn't take long. There is a live version of this song with the same lineup where not only is the performance flawless but she handles a guy who gets on stage like a champ, sees a lit cig on the stage, stomps on it and kicks it out of the way all without missing a note.
It's Jinjer time and I will always be here for that this is one of those awesome songs and I appreciate the shout and the guy in the red shirt is the founder of the band he left to pursue acting. When you get to the song disclosure he's the cop interrogating Tatiana in that video. So now you need to do cloud factor the official video there is a live one to that is a good one also. Peace from Alaska. It's Jinjer and everything they do is good 👍
I’ve been following your metal journey! Another bad ass female vocalist you should check out is Linzy Rae from the Anchor. The songs Miscreation, Througn Rose and One more day might blow your mind as well. She also has a bunch of solo videos of her doing metal covers while cooking they’re great!
this song just sits on top of the hill with Cloud Factory as idle proof of Roman's masterful music-writing skills. I appreciate Vlad, but at the end of the day, I enjoy Roman's songs more than Vlad's. Vlad still has not written a song that knocks Cloud Factory and Outlander off the top Jinjer song list. I like Vortex, so he does have that going for him.
Roman is a beast, but Vlad... There's a reason why Vlad writes a majority of their music now. He leaves room for everyone to write in their own interpretation. I think Roman may be one of the most underrated guitar players of our time, but Vlad is the musician's musician of the group. The best part is that they appreciate each other.
@@davejohnston2197 I really hope their next album is a genius mix of the two approaches. I love Wallflowers, but I also love the old school muscular riffs that aren't quite as progressive. if they could just mix the two I would be ecstatic. knowing them they aren't just going to make the same album twice so it's pretty exciting anticipating what they may conjure up.
I love tattoos sooo... Oh you mean the scream. Still, I think she got better. Remember this is the recorded version of this song so it's hard to compare unless you heard this live in both eras.
Tatiana is a DIFFERENT singer now, not necessarily better or worse. You gotta think, she's been singing in this band for over a decade now and she started when she was still a young girl barely out of her teens. This is not the OG lineup. Jinjer has had many different drummers, two lead singers (including Tatiana), three guitar players (including Roman), and two bassists (including Eugene)
Quit saying that it's s new drummer! It's the old drummer, you can tell when Tatiana doesn't have any tattoos on her neck and left arm. Now do Vortex next!

Actually, Tatiana and Roman came in early 2010. Eugene joined in 2011. Vlad, their current drummer joined in 2016.😁
Dang, I didn’t know that. Who was the original singer?
@@sincityreacts6114 Maksym Fatullaiev. I think he lives in California now.
Yeah and he hung with them a couple of years ago when they played in Cali
To answer your question, she is definitely better now with the screams/growls. Not saying she wasn't good then, but now Tati is on another level!! That also goes with her regular singing voice.
i love the old tracks...the range in the newer ones are bigger. if you think you are ready for the HARD STUFF.... sit stay roll over...a BANGER^^

I did perennial! Lol you missed that one? Tati is a beast, she really doesn’t miss a step at all.
This is the original drummer , who was in and accident and lost movement from the waist down. then a friend filled in until they found Vlad.
Please tell me the waist down was a joke? 😂
Is it him really? I thought that was Dimitry Kim in the video
You're thinking about Eugene Mantulin. He fell out a window and broke his back. He does his own thing now and plays guitar, since he can't play drums anymore. The drummer here is Dimtry Kim, the fill in.
There have been 5 drummers in the band this is the 4th
The only original member in this video is Dmitriy Oksen the guitarist with a red shirt, long hair and no beard. Both guitarist and bassist with short hair and beards are Eugene and Roman and their are stil in the band today.

Thanks, she's better now. Just heavier songs back then.😉

I’ll use this song as a baseline from here on out far as her screams

Ah never noticed that the guitarist audio went out there! Cool info to know!
I get to see her live in August! I can’t wait! She is a little badass!!!
Just saw them Saturday in Minneapolis! Freakin' amazing!!!
Still my favorite Jinjer song
Also On the Top and Vortex are great Jinjer songs
Too me they sound different styles both great
Always down for some Jinjer. Good way to top off the night. As usual great reaction. Can't wait until you check into more of their older stuff.
I caught them on tour before 'Tati" got the tattoo on her throat...
although I love everything from them, Outlander is my favorite track from Jinjer.
