32:33 Michael Rosen Nice.mp3 Probably found that a lot funnier than it shoulda been. Really good TAS, very much enjoyed it, especially for one of my all time favorite games.
This is an impressive TAS! Not many people have the endurance to make a TAS that is this long. I do have 2 questions: 1 How do you do the random item manip. to get Wing at the start of the run? and 2 how do you do so much damage quickly with condor dive
1. For the random copy ability, I tried inhaling the enemies starting on different frames but which ability would be first always seemed to be on a global timer no matter when I inhaled them. The roulette for the copy abilities is random but it doesn't change every frame. I could have saved a tiny amount of time by moving before inhaling, but I didn't think of it at the time. 2. You can jump cancel out of a condor dive and go immediately into another one. Condor dive deals a considerable amount of damage so you defeat bosses fairly quickly. You are actually limited in your damage output by the boss' invincibility that they receive after getting hit. It only lasts ~1/3 of a second but it's enough that you have to wait for a couple frames before you input another condor dive. Hopefully that answers your questions :)
I really enjoy that you speed-run my favorite game ! And I see that wing is really the best power even if I prefer ninja or sleep (jk). Your run was perfect ! gg ! Thank you for this beautiful run ^^

EDIT: ...yeah, i can't translate that. i am not very intelligent! wait, i do remember a question i had, though. would having two players make the run faster at all? and if so, would it make a difference if it was two players for the whole run or just another player hopping in and out? does what character matter? would TWICE the wing kirby be any help? what about bandee, meta knight, and dedede? ...sorry, just curious!
I kind of wished that they made wing work like Meta Knight's glide in this game. But that would make Meta Knight less unique compared to other abilities
