17TH JULY UPDATE-
Now the software is super unreliable right now (not even preserving for me) so a few things I have found online that may help. I have contacted the maker of the newgen manager, however he has failed to respond so far.
Now the link to the reddit thread has a few ideas on what might be going wrong with a few solutions 👇👇

There is a few things from that thread including deleting old RTF files, changing skins which might help. I haven't found a fix to the "folder italmed missing from directory" One soultuion is to check that its named correctly in your graphics folder.
People saying CTRL A and CTRL P don't work, my advice is to keep doing it if you don't have an amazing PC it may take up to a minute I press them both at the same time when i do it and takes me a few attempts
I will update this comment section as more info arrives and I am doing a video for 19th july with how to upload pictures manually with a cool bit of software that is 100% reliable.

This worked overall, but an error comes up when I click replace faces that says “folder I talked is missing in image directory” and I’m confused
Yeah sorry I don't have an answer to that problem
It did that for me with "folder Italmed is missing in image directory" I renamed the "ItalMed" folder to "Italmed" and it worked so maybe try that

Great tutorial! One thing I would add is when you select the filter on the 'New Search', remember to click exclude and remove the tick for your club if you want it generate players for your own club! I had to do this on mine.

Great tutorial! I just have a question does this make your game run any slower? Keen to try this on my laptop but don't really want to slow the game down. Would also love to see a tutorial on how you change specific players!

@@fctreq Hey I found the way to preserve your newgens. You need to follow the same process from 5:59 to 7:26 but in this step you'll need to Overwrite your SAVE as, in your case overwrite EAGLES 2032. Then go back to NewGAN and keep anything as it is. The only thing you will have to do is to change the mode to PRESERVE. Enjoy your new players! ;)
@ how many times have your preserved ? Preserved worked once for me and not any more but will try this
@@fctreq It is my first time I did the preserved, It will take like 1 week (when I finish this current season) to try preserved again.
I did this other method because I tried preserved and I didn't work for me, even for the first time.
Thanks for this always mashed my head trying to work it out and can’t bare looking at the cartoon pics they are shocking. Is there a reason why fm don’t use realistic ones?
Pleasure !!! And god knows I think they say because then faces we have on the profiles are then the faces into the match engine which we never get close enough to see

I had the same problem as you and just rename the file exactly like the name of the missing file... I had for example: italMed and the renowned italmed ....

Slightly wierd issue everytime I try to download the facepack it keeps getting to 100% then goes back to 0% and restart downloading it keeps doing this and doesn't actuallly download anything, anyone else has same issue with Mediafire ??

Dude, preserve not working. Please make a video for this. I don't want my players' faces to change every year. It's very boring. Some people suggested some solutions, but I didn't understand what I should do. Can you explain this in detail with a video?

Hey man, been using this and it´s great. Just one problem, is there a way to avoid chaging faces from different saves? Once I generate faces for a new save, even with a new profile, it changes faces from other saves. Should I always pick "preserve"?

Thanks for the great tutorial. Newgens got new faces, but for some reason my non-regen youth players lost all their faces including some first team players like Marcos Leonardo (20 yr). Any idea how i can fix that? Thanks!

There are no config files in the Megapack
I follows all your step by when I get to NewGen manager follow all the steps and select replace faces an error comes up saying Italmid file is missing from my image directory but when i go back to the graphics folder its all there. helpppp

got the same problem and the solution is simple, just rename the ItalMed folder in the newgan facepack folder to Italmed so just change the m

Hello, I'm trying to put new faces on the staff, problem for women it's giving me men's faces, I don't understand why?
Game won't know the difference between men and women would be my guess
Great video! I replaced the images of all the newgen without any issue, the first time. Then, new season, I made some mistakes and I lost all the previous replaces and redoing the process, I cannot go back to the previous situation, so no images now :(

Use the Preserve tab on the new gan manager if you can get it to work. But another way is checking out my latest video 47k facepack

I have a question. Say if I wanted to put the face on my new academy player next season. Do I need to include all of the past newgen that I have put the faces on or just the new one? Do I need to make a new rtf and profile?

How can you do this also with the staffs? Basicly I did the whole stuff for staff too, but after the skin reload i either keeps the players or the staff based on which one I choose

Nice and easy tutorial. But in my game only some nationalities shows. The likes of Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands show jus the standard newgen faces? I have done every step of the way...
I've found in there national teams it happens but if you click on them at there clubs they pop up with new faces. Try that

For me it works only when I do it the first time, when i hit preserve it crashes

It's a bit of a tricky issue with pressing that. Zealand did a video with Mac instructions so try that
Found it now! There was a privacy thing from the Mac in the settings that needed to allow me changing the keyboards shortcuts. So if youre on a mac, check those!@@fctreq
i have been using the newgan manager for past couple of FM's however now my manager wont load so i unistalled it and tried to re-download it, however now when i run the 'installer' nothing happens any suggestions, ive tried doing it again and nothing happens and i really need them sexy regen faces
It's a bug that I don't have the answer to I'm going to try and get in touch with the guy that makes it and see what we can do

Any way to make it apply to players with Kosovan first nationality? About 8 years into a save and the only newgens without faces are all from Kosovo.
If you click on there profiles at their clubs at non nationality I bet they get faces
Newgan manager app doesnt open on my mac no matter what i try with permissions and "open anyway". Even tried to chmod it and mess around with terminal but still says app cannot be opened

@@fctreq cheers, watched his video which told me how to get round the permissions and security but the app still won't open even after following what he says on the video. Just get a popup saying "newgan manager cannot be opened"

You can do this anytime you want in the save. Speaking for myself I like to do this every april.
Yep johi is right can do it anytime I do it end of the season every year once you get the hang of it literally takes a couple of minutes

Yeah I had this after I had used it a couple of times so had to delete all folders. I did talk about this towards the end of the video I think

Same as @Dollar92 mentioned. In my case it doesn’t work on my Slovak players at all(playing for Slovan Bratislava), I have one Swede youngling who also kept his AI generated face. Any idea someone?
Ok it works now, my mistake again. Just make sure you really select ALL the players with “Ctrl + A” at 7:00.

So I had newgan manager working, then I went to update my faces but the app wouldn't open. Uninstalled and reinstalled (many times) but still the app won't open???

Did every step three times now, works with some nations and doesnt work with some others. Checked the ftf file, and the players are on the list, but dont get any faces. I play in danish league and danish players doenst have AI faces, but other some other nations work fine
Is this when you click on danish players at international level?
@@fctreq didnt work with any danish/german/dutch/spanish regens at all, but works with many other regens from other countries

I have always used the 100k+ package so far and now want to add these images to it. Are they just copied into the folder with the others or separated?

Can anyone help me please? It only seems to work on maybe the first 100 players on the shortlist and the rest are still cpu faces, am I doing anything wrong! Appreciate the video and getting me so far!
It must not be highlighting them properly there's no other reason why it's doing only 100 faces. Have you pressed replicate faces?
@Trequinho yep replacting them and doing the exact same as what you do in the video, it must work as it does it for some players but not all so the process is working!
Edit: Got it working bro! I had to use control A rather than shift copy all of them, weird I know but it's seems good to me, appreciate the help man, keep up the good work 🙌
