You don't need to do it 50 times. You do it once and then wait. You might have to wait quite a while. If you're worried Ctrl A isn't working, just test it in your squad view. It should be automatic in your 20-something squad. If it works there, it works here. Every other 49 times you pressed Ctrl-A did nothing. It was just still processing the first one. Unless you misclicked your first attempt or something.
First time i've tried this following your instructions and first time it worked, cntrl + A only 10 times, excellent video, easy to follow, well done, thank you very much, game looks a whole lot better
If you cant find the fmf files for views and filters o Mac, instead of copy pasting the "views" and "filters" folders straight from your downloads, create the folders yourself and paste the fmf files in, that worked for me
The only downside is the size and style is not general. Cause I think this pack come from different contributor using different prompt and probably some from Midjourney some from different app like stablediffusion But overall still far better than the original from FM
People who are having problems my solution was: first step = uninstall Newgan and delete the Maradona folder and reinstall Newgan (C:\Users\Marco\AppData\Local\Programs) then go on with these 1: use English (UK) as FM Language (other languages might have different country codes) 2: use FM default skin (other skins use flags instead of country codes, making the RTF unusable) 3: import regen search file 4: select view SCRIPT FACE player search 5: select all players 6: Ctrl P to make the text file 7: run Newgan app as administrator 8: make profile, select the graphics directory and rtf file 9: hit REPLACE FACES
Hi man. You point out the issue i am having at the moment. I've changed the language of the game to the English but still in the ''SCRIPT FACES player search'' view nationality names is staying as Turkish. Any idea how to fix it ?

Im not sure why but my Configure file from NewGan is "config.xml" file type - Microsoft Edge HTML Document. Not sure what i did wrong followed the video twice but regardless i got the approriate result so i hope it sticks. Noticed even the NewGan FAQ said i shouldnt have .xml in the file name but it worked so ill just roll with it for now. Appreciate the help; class

Hi, thank you for the video. I did this. Some of the newgens have faces now but a whole bunch of them is still FM generated and I don't understand the reason why. I did everything step by step. Only thing I didn't is downloading the second NEWGEN FACE link. Perhaps some nationalities don't work?
hey, I'm having a problem where the faces for the newgens are blank. Like there is no picture for them or no 3d face either. I looked in the xml file and everything looks fine and its linked to the faces. Hope you can help, that would be great. Great vid.
I have the same problem. I tried to add custom line to the config, and now everyone has blank face. Deleting the config file and reloading the skin wont work. Edit: I deleted config files and verify integrity of game files on steam. Reloaded the game and the original newgen faces were there. Then i applied the config again, and it's working fine.
when you said that the new 1.4.0 NewGAN now works with FM24, and previously it didn't because of the "person/r-123..." in the config, does that mean that the 1.4.0 doesn't work anymore for older FM (like 22 for me), because of the new naming system?

Hi , my newgan manager is not working good enough .. bec i have 20.000 newgen for example , in the result newgan manager generate just 2.000-3.000 player face . i am professional about these things i did everything right and i am using this mods since 2020-2021 , whats wrong with newgan manager idk

Hi there, been using newgans for fm23 and 24 so far but recently my newgan won't create any code in the config file in the folder so rhe faces won't attach, any ideas?
I've noticed that it doesn't work for players of some nationalities, such as Argentine, Turkish, British, etc. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? I followed all the steps the same way and I'm sure I loaded the IDs of the players that not applied in the text file, but I can't find a solution. These players are found in an RTF extension file, but are not found in the config file created by the app.

This one is not workin on my load. Some players has a new face but some player stay in 3d face. I dont know why is not workin. I do the same step in this vid. But thanks for the clear explanation.

Anyone had issue where newgan app won’t load. I’ve tried uninstalling it. Just comes up with application had crashed box. I was trying to update all new regens by redoing it. Now it’s wiped the originals off
Whilst trying to do this newgan now won’t open (displays an error message - “application has crashed”) and now I also can’t save my game file. Solution?
It works great, the only problem is that everyone gets a proper face but not my newgens, I mean the players that I ve already got in my academy, do you know what might be the problem, thanks !

Please help me understand: I downloaded the Germany file and started in its 5th division. Almost all players just don't have a picture (no generated picture, just blank). I am still in season 1 of the save. Does this method then NOT work for me? Do I need a progressed save with more players generated by FM rather than real players who are just too unknown to have a face in the game?

in my save its my first year and got the intake 5 days ago i tryna do it but works for couple players like porteguese league and bundeslıga is it about date?
Hey mate can you help with installing it for staff. I got everything but when I use the Newgan tool and click replace it doesn't load anything. Nothing when I clear cache/reload skin either.
@@willowprowse4775 like the same for the players but I created a separate profile for the tool. Also use the staff view and export your staff list (no need to create another separate manager) but idk the exact process I did, so if you have any questions I'll try to answer them
So i managed to get it up and running and generate for the previous batch of newgens, however ive tried it again for my new set. I've followed the video as per normal and selected preserve, all went well, however only some of my regens have been changed? Anyone had this before and if so any work arounds? cheers

It is not available to every player. As far as I understand, it is only available to new gens in certain countries. What is the reason? Is there any chance I can fix it?
I'm struggling here (LOL) When I unzip the NewGan folder and click into the 'filters' and 'views' folders i'm not having the config document. Can anyone tell me what I'm possibly doing wrong? Thanks :)
I downloaded NewGan, but nothing populates in Windows, i.e the icon to start NewGan. If I double click the downlaoded installer, it says it is installed and to click Finish to exit Setup Wizard... I'm not sure what to do next.
@@topten1018 Thank you for replying.. there is no icon to right click and Run as.. the Setup Wizard completes, says to click Finish, then it all goes away. Not sure where it's even saved on the computer.
how to do this for 2nd time e.g 3years after the 1st newgan faces applied, do i just make new manager again and follow all this tutorial again and overwirite the config.xml and also select preserve. dont want to do anything wrong, please any info, just subscribed

I would say yes, you can download older versions though of the NewGan manager

You don't lose your manager you just add a new one for the time as unemployed so you get all the regens in the game you need to do that !!

Only works for players invented by the game real players it doesn't work for young players already in the game are not Newgens

Unfortunately it does that sometimes requires a full reload

my newgan is stuck on map player to after i hit replace faces, but it worked the first time i did it

when i click on preserve for my second/third year etc will the config file be replaced or do i have to delete the previous one and keep new one?

hi mate, My MAC isn't allowing me to open NEWGAN Manager, keeps saying that it can't be trusted and to "contact the developer" any idea how to fix this?
No because I'm not on Mac is there a way of ignoring it
I’ve followed the instructions mate and most newgens have new faces, my under 19s faces are still the same I’m at the start of a new save but I can’t bear to see my u19s with no faces 😂 is their something I’m doing wrong ? Cheers
They will only work for Newgens not real players with no faces
You’ll have to download normal facepacks for those U19 that actually exist

Japanese regens or Japanese players ? It only fixes regens not real players without faces it's worked for me for Japanese regens

When it’s the new year of new gens do I need to do the same process and call it a new name? Or do I just save it as the year before?

in my save its my first year and got the intake 5 days ago i tryna do it but works for couple players like porteguese league and bundeslıga is it about date?
If you do it properly it will do any players in the game that are newgens

Hey mate can you help with installing it for staff. I got everything but when I use the Newgan tool and click replace it doesn't load anything. Nothing when I clear cache/reload skin either.

@@willowprowse4775 like the same for the players but I created a separate profile for the tool. Also use the staff view and export your staff list (no need to create another separate manager) but idk the exact process I did, so if you have any questions I'll try to answer them
So i managed to get it up and running and generate for the previous batch of newgens, however ive tried it again for my new set. I've followed the video as per normal and selected preserve, all went well, however only some of my regens have been changed? Anyone had this before and if so any work arounds? cheers
Make sure in newgan manager in the last option called mode u select preserve only do generate first time and check the box allow duplicates too

It is not available to every player. As far as I understand, it is only available to new gens in certain countries. What is the reason? Is there any chance I can fix it?
I'm struggling here (LOL) When I unzip the NewGan folder and click into the 'filters' and 'views' folders i'm not having the config document. Can anyone tell me what I'm possibly doing wrong? Thanks :)
Configure document is after you do the NewGan tool
i want to start a new save, should I do this at the beginning of a new save or 5 years into a new save?
There wouldn't be any Newgens at the start of the game you can do it as many times as you want every year every 5 years whatever
I downloaded NewGan, but nothing populates in Windows, i.e the icon to start NewGan. If I double click the downlaoded installer, it says it is installed and to click Finish to exit Setup Wizard... I'm not sure what to do next.
I would delete and start again
Run it as administrator… it should work
@@topten1018 Thank you for replying.. there is no icon to right click and Run as.. the Setup Wizard completes, says to click Finish, then it all goes away. Not sure where it's even saved on the computer.

how to do this for 2nd time e.g 3years after the 1st newgan faces applied, do i just make new manager again and follow all this tutorial again and overwirite the config.xml and also select preserve. dont want to do anything wrong, please any info, just subscribed
