I meal plan! I write out a menu for the next 5 days or so, write out every ingredient I need for that meal, and write a market list from that. It helps me with keeping food waste low. I also make meat like twice a week and we eat the leftovers. For example, I'll make a crock pot pork roast one day, make carnitas with it the next day, and make like enchiladas with it the last day. Then I'll make something else, like chicken. Chicken on night one, Mediterranean bowls on night 2, Asian chicken on night 3. Etc. ❤

I have some thoughts about meal planning. 🥰 For people like us, who find a creative element in cooking, I find prepping main meal components is more fun and less restrictive. So for example: braise a pork loin and mix in some bbq sauce. Now you have juicy pork to add to salads, tacos, grain bowls, stir fry, sandwiches, soups... and so on for the next week to mix and match with your available veggies. Other ideas: roast a ton of chicken legs. Brown and season ground turkey. Endless possibilities!
Whoops, got a little meat oriented with the suggestions. A pot of yummy lentils, pinto beans, or mixed sauteed onions, mushrooms, and peppers ready to go.

I get the siete taco shells all the time and some come broken every time. What a good idea to make open face tacos 😂 we usually just use the shards like a chip to scoop the filing, but I like your method better! Haha great solution. I was wondering about your journey dealing with it, if you’d be open to talking about it again. Did you heal it taking a natural route, or were you ever on acne medication or anything like that? @@NikkiPhillippi there were a lot of similarities I saw in the video about things you did..that I had decided to do about meal planning and even using a shot glass for my vitamins. I really do believe that the Lord is leading us / His children along the same path and health as far as what’s good for our bodies and what to stay away from in the world as far as adulterated foods. It is so refreshing to find people who are like-minded in that way. One of my biggest prayers is that there would be more unity in Christ with Believers, since there seems to be some departing of the faith even in the churches. I really do need to invest in some really good freezer options for meals that are not aluminum or plastic I still do use plastic for marinades and some other things but I will do you want to try the silicone and glass options which are really expensive but I think in the long run it will save more money. I have to send out to Misfit Market and Butcher Box to get most of my organic groceries and wild caught fish and grass fed grass finished meats. i’m a much better cook than I used to be too and I know someday I will be cooking for my family again.

She moved me into other positions and I didn’t want to be there…Even though it’s not the recommended position I think each woman has to follow their instincts and what feels right… I’m glad she let me! Farmhouse on Boone had 6 kids naturally and prefers to lie on her back (not the recommended position) but it works for her! My midwife was a literal angel and perfect for me… I was just telling a friend that the either day… I’m assuming you’re still pregnant…? I hope your delivery goes beautifully for your family!☺️🙏🏻💜

I’m currently working on a health and wellness course rn but once I launch that I’m very seriously considering opening up coaching as well! I’ll keep you guys posted! Thanks for asking me… I’m flattered! 2. I think calories are a good thing to be aware of and know…it can be useful… that being said, I actually think nourishment and deep nutrition is more important… I think when you’re giving your body lots of nutrients it wants to use it as fuel… fuel for healing, growing, sleeping, etc… it promotes vibrancy.. I think that just counting calories is not a nuanced enough way to look at health or weight loss… I feel like this answer is vague, but basically…. Eat the best quality most nutrient dense food you can… take breaks from your desk, get moving… get sunshine in your eyes first thing in the morning and at moments throughout the day if possible… also, get your feet in dirt and ground daily! It’s important to realign our energy with the earth… it sounds woo woo… but in the day and age of WiFi especially… we need it to support our health and flourish! I’m sending you a hug!

I definitely have to meal plan considering how expensive food has gotten 🫤. I just plan out meals with what we may want to eat, what we have in the pantry to work with and what our budget looks like for for the week. I also like to make meals that will give is leftover for lunch the next day. Ill just write out the meals and choose something for the day as we get into the week. If i dont meal plan i definitely will go over budget. 🫠
P.s it would be amazing if you made a recipe video using discard. I currently started making sourdough bread so I have a good build up of discard and need ideas 😆.

After I broke my leg and ankle back in 2019 my body craved oranges. I would eat live six or seven a day. Because of that my bones healed quickly.

You really have to stop using plastic cooking utensils. I have noticed mine melts to my pans and gets into my food it’s horrible I just switched

@@NikkiPhillippi I use silicone metal or wood. I’d I must use plastic it isn’t to cook anymore. I only use it to serve if that. I have made the official switch to everything

I always think that when I’m editing… I’ve figured out through, someone is alwaysss made uncomfortable by people cutting with knives hahaha every single food video I feel like has this comment somewhere lol sorry dude, I’ll try and keep honing my knife skills! 😭🙏🏻
I definitely have to meal plan considering how expensive food has gotten 🫤. I just plan out meals with what we may want to eat, what we have in the pantry to work with and what our budget looks like for for the week. I also like to make meals that will give is leftover for lunch the next day. Ill just write out the meals and choose something for the day as we get into the week. If i dont meal plan i definitely will go over budget. 🫠
P.s it would be amazing if you made a recipe video using discard. I currently started making sourdough bread so I have a good build up of discard and need ideas 😆.
