    Suggestion for making bread:
    I know you said that you don't like to use yeast but it's worth it. The yeast will make the bread softer and more fluffy. In order to activate the yeast properly, put the yeast into some warm milk with sugar. When bubbles start coming to the surface. The yeast is ready. When activating it properly, the rise time is a lot less and it would make the whole process faster overall. It's worth a try 😊. Love the videos

    • @vishalSharma-ol9fl
      @vishalSharma-ol9fl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I get you but , for me,I have this weird irk that I am eating microbes when I use yeast and can't have any of it haha. Maybe that's the case with her too, or not.

    • @LivingMyLife1991
      @LivingMyLife1991 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I agree with this. Only thing is, that I use dry yeast and that you just put in with the dry ingredients. It’s super simple to make. You use flour, sugar, salt, butter (I like to use melted butter), dry yeast, milk (I like to use milk, that is warmed up a bit) and that’s it. The bread was still soft the next day. First add all the dry stuff and then add the liquid ingredients. Let it rise and start baking.

      It kind of made my teeth hurt thinking of biting into that dough she made… but she doesn’t need to use yeast, just find a good biscuit recipe and they will be wonderful. I left another comment with a suggested technique that yields a tender result.

    • @charliecat5686
      @charliecat5686 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Even if she doesn’t use yeast it’s the kneading too much that made it way tough. Just don’t over work the dough.

    Small tip for better dough: when you have your dough done, put it on desk or plate, then take a hot glassy/metal bowl or hot pot and cover this dough with this hot bowl/pot and wait till it’s gonna have a normal temperature. It’s about 20/30 minutes and it’s enough, then your dough is incredibly soft, not roughy, just beautiful, perfectly stretchy and after you bake it, the texture is more softer then without this whole process 😃 try it, you should love it :)

    I was hurting a lot last night so I was just going to eat cereal because cooking seemed like too much effort. Then I remembered how easily you always make soup from scratch. I had a red onion, some minced garlic, and half a carton of mushrooms in the fridge. My low effort “imamu” soup turned out quite well, and was SO much better than cereal. Thanks for the inspiration!

    For great bread - you should let it rest/proof, that way it will not be hard or chewy! Also it helps to get the yeast activated in the warm milk and sugar before mixing with the flour.

    Love the variety of dishes and that you actually cook and don’t depend on the microwave to steam your food or cook for you.
