So how did Chris do on this flip?! I am so grateful for his help when I have a busy few days! Come join me on Patreon this week and lets connect some more! www.patreon.com/lemonstolemonadefurniture
Kara, you and your husband are adorable. He is indeed a good furniture flipper. That piece turned out so beautifully, I’m loving the color. Great job on getting that piece for free. I hope you get the price your asking. The new legs are great. Love it
Fabulous!! Almost looked like office furniture before (large file cabinet). The changes you made did make all the difference. Love the color! I agree, you two make a great team!💕👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you 🙏
LL, you know it is really crazy how much difference removing the skirt and adding legs makes. This was so boxy, heavy, and boring, but the lighter color and legs made all the difference. You have a special talent (example, you really do understand "proportion") and are analytical regarding the colors and styles that are the most desirable. Also you and hubby do not settle for anything less than the best craftsmanship. I am still amazed by that black and white curved desk with the stripes; the slightest mistake would have been seen a mile away and looked like junk. It was beautiful. Also, it may SOUND like you sold this for allot of money but just compare this to a new piece, that is made this well and solid/durable, the buyer is still saving at least 50%. I KNOW all your finishes are tons more durable than the new stuff. Also, I don't think furniture made this well is even available today, I doubt they even dovetail anymore. Everything these days is made to fall apart. The icing on the cake is that this was saved from the landfills. So it is a win, win, win. And "Green".
Hi maria! this one is still sitting here bc I really don't like how I staged it and haven't had the time to move it back to the garage for a re-do. Feb can be slow around here for selling so this will prob move in March for me! Thanks for watching!
I just hit my $1,000 mark that has gone towards debt. It took me a year, but I have a toddler, which limits the amount of time I can spend on flipping furniture. But I enjoy it so much, and it's $1k more than it would have been otherwise! So inspired by you!
WOOOOOW!!! Love, love, love this channel!! Thank you so much- I’ve been flipping furniture for my own home for the past 10 years and I’m seriously considering doing this as a side hustle- Since I’ve been doing this for so long, I’m quite familiar with the restoring process and I have all the paints and tools I need. But the biggest thing holding me back, is not knowing what to do with my pieces. I’m great at copying other looks I see. But when it comes to creative vision.. I have none. So my question is this- How/where do you get your inspiration from and how do you know what’s on trend? Also curious to know what your favorite non yellowing top coat is for white chalk painted pieces?
@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture ok thanks for getting back to me. Im in the planning stage, trying to find a small piece for the right price. Thanks again.
I would hate to pay that for such a pretty piece with painted handles. I’d be so upset if the paint failed. I’m just saying. It’s not a cheap piece. Turned out lovely.

Incredible transformation! Love it❤
Thank you!!
Love it, great job
Thank you! Cheers!
You do make it look easy. You even use words like "easy" and phrases like "anyone can do it". I just might try
That was gorgeous but I have to ask how do you sell? No one is buying here in California. I can't get anything sold..grh.

Where do you sell the pieces you renovate?
May I ask where you got your spray gun stand?
Another great flip!
Question....If you see this: Do you always remove then use the original door hinges, sometimes painting them before reattaching?
Oooh wee, that sho turned out beautiful, those legs made it top shelf! Man that L👀KS AHHHMAZING!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
thank you ! I just loved it!

Thank you Kristen!! With that kind of experience, you’ve got to try selling! Fav top coat is Spar-Urathane by minwax water based satin.
Are you able to paint more than one unit with a quart of paint?
Yes usually I will have a bit left over.

It's beautiful! Can you share the link for the legs?

What can you do to disguise a drawer missing?
Hmm..can't say I've dealt with that one. So sorry!
Make it a shelf?

The wood and metal looked so much better without the paint.
But I guess this is what sells to the Karens in Texas 🤮
Yikes…
I don't think your prices are high enough.
Oh yeah that is so overprised
