They originally solicited two omnibuses before they changed their mind and went with the four hardcovers, so I don’t see them releasing this run as omnibuses anytime soon.

It would be more egregious in an oversized format, and I don't see DC investing in restoration to make those look any better, but maybe they are quietly working on it.
Great List!!! I didn’t expect the Supergirl: Girl of Steel omnibus to be here. That era is my #2 most wanted Super omnibus, though I like the later Gates stuff best. My #1 is New Krypton. I know this is a divisive run, but I started reading Superman during Johns’ Brainiac arc that led right into this, and I loved that whole era.
YES! I need every single one of these. What I really need is for this upcoming movie to kick off a Superman renaissance and get us some good collected editions in print.

With you on your list 100%. Especially Man Of Steel and Superboy. Not an Omni, but I want an Absolute Edition of Superman Secret Identity by Busiek and Immonen. One of the best Supes stories ever and Stuart Immonen's art would look amazing in that large format.
I'm right there with you. I have 23 issues and 3 annuals from this series, accumulated mostly from Dollar boxes over the years and most of them are so fun, with classic creators.
It would make for a smaller omni, but I've heard from Supergirl fans that the Sterling Gates run (the stuff after the Girl of Steel omni you have here) is one of the character's best, especially with the Loeb stuff not being that great. Completionist-wise, I get wanting an omni with issues 1-33 before the one with issues 34-59, but if I could only choose 1, I'm more interested in the latter. More specifically it looks like Supergirl by Sterling Gates would be Supergirl (2005) 34-59 & Annuals 1-2, as well as maybe Worlds Finest (2009) 1-4 or 3-4 (I haven't read this, looks like it's a 4 issue miniseries, according to the DC wiki Supergirl appears in the last two issues. Having not read this, I don't know if it would be better to have all 4 issues or just issues 3-4) and if it's a creator-centric book maybe also the TV show tie in Adventures of Supergirl (2016) 1-6.
I would like a collection of the Superman 'Imaginary Stories' from the 1960's and 1970's. The ones I read were quite good and I dare say just as good as the Elseworld series.
Eradication, One Year Later and the Supergirl Omnis I would buy in a heartbeat. Also Triangle Volumes 2 to whatever (i checked out during the Electric Superman). I would love a series of DC Comics Presents omnis (That could be done in 2-3 volumes depending on how fat you want them to be) and just Bronze Age Superman in general since I've read so little of it, but what I have read I really enjoyed. Pre Crisis Superman from the late 50s up is like a massive void that they have barely collected, but that's also true of Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc. I'm cool with the existing Man of Steel hardcovers since I doubt the reproduction would improve if they issued it in that format, but if they included the "World Of" minis, I would get it (wheres that hardcover DC?) Edit: Is Superman in all of yhose Justice League issues in your 2 pick? I've only read the JL issues from that era that are in the Death and Return Omnibus, but that's an intriguing pick.
Man of Steel by Byrne omnis are a no brainer. I think if we're going to get anything in the second half of 2025, aside from more Triangle era collections, this one is it.
Some Superman omnis that I think would be interesting would be Superman Blue (if the triangle era doesn't cover it) Kurt Buseik's run, and a Steel omnibus.
I'd buy 6, maybe 7 of these. Superman Our Worlds at War, Superman Eradication, Superman Man of Steel, Superman and the Justice, and League and both Supergirl omnibus books but I'd add Superman and the DC Universe collecting Superman team ups from World's Finest, Action Comics and DC Comics Presents. Have you ever considered a most wanted Deluxe Edition list? I'd love to see Deluxe Edition collections of Superman and Gog by Chuck Austin, Superman by Mark Verheiden collecting Superman the Journey and Superman Sacrifice trades, Superman and Batman Saga of the Super Sons and Wonder Woman the 12 labors but I'd include the Justice League story that welcomes Wonder Woman back to the Justice League. I'd also be down for Wonder Woman By Gene Colan.

Great list! Isn't The City of Tomorrow included in the Triangle Era? From the covers of the single issues of the main titles (Action, Adventures, Superman, and Man of Steel), they have the triangles with the numbers on them from years 2000 to 2001.
Yes, that was part of the Triangle Era. Recently, I've been collecting the single issues that haven't been collected and gathered that the Triangle Era goes all the way to Our Worlds At War and its aftermath.

The CoT era is a lot of fun! The main series by Jeph Loeb has some of the best Superman issues in my opinion. I would highly recommend checking it out.

I actually prefer the standard size hardcover of the MOS series. It's a lot easier to read and a beautiful build. I understand some people would want it oversized, but the way prices are nowadays, it's hard to justify double dipping. And as I get older, I just want to be able to read the stories, no matter what format.

Would love a Superboy and Supergirl omnibuses. I was very excited when they both got trades. And then very sad and disappointed that Superboy only got one solitary volume and Peter David's Supergirl got four trades. Did they sell so badly they were not completed? I find it hard to believe. So would be so good if these two got more love with an omnibus treatment. And also yes to Eradicator omnibus to go with the Triangle Years, (for which I'm still waiting for here in the UK for my copy ordered why DC omnibuses here seem to have trouble with stock and always out of stock for weeks is frustrating) would be excellent so it would be completed together with Exiled and Death Of Superman omnibuses.
Top wants: Continue the Triangle Era up until City of Tomorrow. I know a lot of it might not be the best.... but I want it! City of Tomorrow still had Triangles but it really felt like a new era. So I'd be good with a new series of Omnibus for it. City of Tomorrow, Our Worlds at War, and post War. New Krypton Omnibuses (omnibi?) please! Boggles my mind that this saga isn't collected better. Superman related, I am 100% aboard with Superboy and Peter David Supergirl. Steel wasn't my favourite series but I'd even take a Steel omnibus because I'm a sucker for anything Superman and Superman adjacent. Superboy related, please finish Young Justice in omnibus format!
My worthless opinion is that DC has such an extensive library, they have let the superman titles suffer. Event books and Batman have overwhelmed the Superman library.
There were a lot of New 52 stuff that was superb. Aside from those already published as omnibuses, we need omnibuses for Captain Atom, Gotham Academy, I vampire, Justice League 3000/3001, Demon Knights, Stormwatch, All Star Western, Batman and Robin, World's Finest, Earth 2, Superman/Wonder Woman, Batman/Superman, etc.

I actually prefer the standard size hardcover of the MOS series. It's a lot easier to read and a beautiful build. I understand some people would want it oversized, but the way prices are nowadays, it's hard to justify double dipping. And as I get older, I just want to be able to read the stories, no matter what format.

I'm surprised you didn't have panic in the sky omnibus to close the gap between exile and triangle era omnibus. Number 1 was so obvious.

Would love a Superboy and Supergirl omnibuses. I was very excited when they both got trades. And then very sad and disappointed that Superboy only got one solitary volume and Peter David's Supergirl got four trades. Did they sell so badly they were not completed? I find it hard to believe. So would be so good if these two got more love with an omnibus treatment. And also yes to Eradicator omnibus to go with the Triangle Years, (for which I'm still waiting for here in the UK for my copy ordered why DC omnibuses here seem to have trouble with stock and always out of stock for weeks is frustrating) would be excellent so it would be completed together with Exiled and Death Of Superman omnibuses.
Top wants: Continue the Triangle Era up until City of Tomorrow. I know a lot of it might not be the best.... but I want it!
City of Tomorrow still had Triangles but it really felt like a new era. So I'd be good with a new series of Omnibus for it. City of Tomorrow, Our Worlds at War, and post War.

Superman related, I am 100% aboard with Superboy and Peter David Supergirl. Steel wasn't my favourite series but I'd even take a Steel omnibus because I'm a sucker for anything Superman and Superman adjacent.

My worthless opinion is that DC has such an extensive library, they have let the superman titles suffer. Event books and Batman have overwhelmed the Superman library.

There were a lot of New 52 stuff that was superb. Aside from those already published as omnibuses, we need omnibuses for Captain Atom, Gotham Academy, I vampire, Justice League 3000/3001, Demon Knights, Stormwatch, All Star Western, Batman and Robin, World's Finest, Earth 2, Superman/Wonder Woman, Batman/Superman, etc.
Can we please keep Ed Benes drawing characters that are over 18.
