All of these old relics are terrific to see in person. The sights and sounds and flights of all of them. However, that Super Connie is as beautiful as a classic airplane gets. With her four roaring R-3350s, she's the true "show-stopper" down-under. Seeing her fly the way she does, is as graceful as if she were in service carrying passengers. A truly magnificent airplane she is!!!!
As a former US Navy Connie Aircrewman it makes my heart glad to see this old gal in the air and hear the 3350s sing their song. My favorite time to fly was Night time and see the blue flame dance down the wings.

probably because of the shear distance from nsw to wa. theres alot of risk in that in such an old aircraft.
