PJAMM Cycling invited me to join them on an epic cycling trip in Bolivia. I packed up Barney (my gravel bike) and embarked on an adventure I'll never forget. Thanks to @PJAMMCycling and specifically Javier Chacon for letting me use their footage in this video. Stay tuned for the next episode where we cycle up the Death Road!

Best video yet Mitch! Great content (as always) - really stepped up on the editing. Looking forward to the next episode!
I appreciate it dude! I’m looking forward to the next one too. The Death Road was just as epic as it sounds
@@MitchBoyer you really need to plan another visit to Australia and do Melbourne's Hell Ride. Takes place every Saturday but biggest bunch is on Christmas Eve. A summer Christmas this year perhaps? 😉
Within only a few days your channel has become my most favorite cycling channel!!! So relatable, so funny and witty, the editing is just phenomenal and I love your storytelling. You deserve WAY MORE subscribers, Mitch!! Well done!! :)
Thanks Matt!
Very nice, thanks for taking me someplace. I will never go. It appears to have been a great group.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a really special group and an incredible place. I consider myself very lucky to have gone.
I got winded walking up the 3-5 steps into the building at Hale Pohaku when I visited the summit at Mauna Kea. I can't even begin to imagine biking it...
I know, the climb looks intense!
That descent was truly epic! Great video and looking forward to Part 2.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Crazy 😮, I've been in La Paz and the altitude is pretty grueling... Massive kudos ;)
Incredible ride, great video, and wonderful storytelling! Great job, Mitch!
Thanks 🙌
Employer: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Me:
haha definitely worth it 🙌
What a lineup.
Kudos just getting to the start!
Cheers
Loved it!!!
I like your channel. Good sense of humor and the subjects are interesting.
Wow, looks amazing!
I gotta set you up with the PJAMM crew, dude, I feel like you'd fit right in ✌️
@@MitchBoyer I aspire to do that kind of riding, someday - great video!
Absolutely love it, Mitch! Reminds me of Warren Miller/Greg Stump ski movies...but on bikes ❤
That’s high praise, thanks Nigel!
Amazing video man!! Looked like fun
amazing editing, story, and of course scenery!
Nice ride and editing :)
Very cool
Ah another Mitch Boyer video. Best storytelling cycling content around
Fantastic video! Amazing edit.
Thanks dude! Almost as good as our trip to Cuba 😜
@@MitchBoyer
It looks like Tarantino and Coens filming bikes )))
Nice done
yooo that sideways insta360 x3 mount on the chest is the accessory i didn't know that I absolutely needed! Thanks!
It’s pretty great! 🫡
Whoa and he replies to comments fast! You got yourself a new subscriber! @@MitchBoyer
It's crazy how different your body looks even from a year ago. You look like a serious athlete, not just a weekend warrior.
Thanks bro 🙌
Minimises TdF for Fresh Mitch content
haha appreciate you dude!
Awesome video Mitch. Gave me Wes vibes. Hope you are doing well!
Thanks Simon!
Thinking about the pros and cons about this ride, and I can't think of a single con descending.
Nice Video Mitch! Looks like a dream to go downhill for a few hours! Can you tell me which Bike Bag you use? It looks very compact! Cheers, Dave
Thanks! It's the Orucase B2. I've traveled all over the world with it and it's been fantastic.
Hours long decent? Has anyone notified Safa?
Haha I’m from Colorado, my resting heart rate increases by about 10 when I’m above 12000 ft.
Just curious (in case I missed it)… how long did it take you physically to adjust to the altitude??
I was only in Bolivia for a week so there was basically no time to adjust to the altitude🤪 the advice I received was basically “just go slower” but I was still surprised at how much slower I needed to go. I lost about 40-50 watts in my zone 2 pace
@@MitchBoyer Wow… re: watts
Approximately how fast were you going during the descent?
Average of 54kph (35.5mph) for the long stretches without any stops! It was so much fun.
Are you still making cycling videos, or only TH-cam Shorts?
Both! There will be a full length video on the Death Road too :)
@@MitchBoyer looking forward to seeing it. Your full length videos are great!
@@FernalAnthony thanks dude!
Video starts at 4:42
Bring a fixed gear next time and send it
Do these people just not have jobs?
Just one of them, he's retired. Everyone else took a holiday for this trip! They all met through John's site, PJAMM, and go on rides all over the world when they can.
Most epic video of yours yet, nice work. The Andes look good on you 🏔️
Thanks bro!
