With a motor of this size I'm a little surprised they didn't use real sealed bearings rather than brass bushings. Made to eventually fail.

I like the way your notification of the new video brought me right to a playlist with both videos. Occasionally I'd like to do that, how do you make it happen?

Is it doable to rebuild the fan motor on a Honda Element/crv condenser? The reason I’m asking is because I might rather rebuild an OEM fan than take my chances on a third party knockoff and an OEM fan is like $150!
Haven’t removed it from the vehicle yet but it failed to activate when the AC was on and it had voltage coming to its connector.

I've had good luck using aftermarket cooling fans made by TYC. Well built and as close as you'll get to OEM without the OEM price.
Tiny motors like this aren't really designed to be rebuilt and you'd have to source the parts yourself. Which would involve disassembling the motor to measure the brush size, bushing ID, OD, and thickness, etc. If the commutator is burned up (which often happens if a motor is operated with worn brushes until it fails) forget it.

0:16 Looks like an axial exhaust fan installed in kitchens and bathrooms in China.
