You don't have to force yourself just to make people acknowledge you. When you do that, you end up blaming yourself, blaming other people... and feeling jealous of everyone... But still, it doesn't have to be like that. Even if people don't acknowledge you, you just have to be someone you can be proud of! Cuz... you yourself are your biggest supporter! @@abewear2882 Danganronpa always had the lack of actual sense, I mean you got an Ultimate Princess as a talent and 15 Japanese Highschool Students and One Foreign Student to end the world (pretty silly if you ask me) I think DR was just one project and the Reveal wasn't supposed to continue later on and would have just left the players with their own opinion on the ending but the sequels kinda ruined the story and made it silly for me (I still love the games but they could have made the story better)

Wow...actual praise of Danganronpa 3. I'm...shocked. I honestly am. After 4 years of it being either bashed or willingly forgotten by the majority of the fandom, I just kinda accepted it as that one part of the canon that only I legitimately loved. But now I see _this,_ and...I just...feel the most surreal happiness that I've ever felt. It sounds stupid, I know, but it's the only way I can explain it.
I have never seen such passion put into a Danganronpa documentary! Yes, documentary, I mean it! I'm glad you brought your friends into that. You really can tell how much love was put into that, remixed music, trial, callbacks. I love it! A little shame you didn't mention V3 and how that twists your mind, but that's okay. I love danganronpa 2, it brought me Nagito Komaeda, who to me is the most likable villain ever, he has a clear backstory and abilities that makes absolute sense tying to his ideals, which he’s ready to do anything for, those ideals in turns contrast that of the main protagonist, challenging him while maintaining a love-hate relationship because deep inside he’s still a nice guy, however, realizing he’s not fit to be protagonist, he becomes a secondary antagonist in hopes that by beating him, the protagonist will gain the strength to beat the real one. I also love that monologue about being the most useless guy in the room when turns out he’s one of the smartest and most dangerous, his alter ego as a servant is just perfect. P/S: thank u browntable for getting my other favorite youtubers to talk about about my favorite series, this is one of the happiest moments of my life
Seeing people love the Daanganronpa 3 anime brings so much joy to me tbh. I honestly enjoyed watching it when it was airing ans it always kept you on the edge of your seat. The despair arc especially feels both nostalgic and terrifying to watch. The happy moments, the masacre and Chiakis death - all those were done so good yet so tragically. The last aspect made me feel the feels as much as the AssClass finale did.
The asohina thing got me dead laughing, the creators got me in tears for a huge week or so. The creators of the anime really had to play with my emotions that way.
It’s more like a hidden spoiler I think. You wouldn’t know that he was talking about Nagito unless you’d actually played the game, you’d assume that he was just playing footage of the characters at that moment, not giving an example.

When i watched Danganronpa 3, i got so confused because new characters, the story got different at first, but i still watch it till the end anyways (both of the arc). Someone told me to watch some gameplays of the game, but i'm just too lazy to do it. After watching this video you made, i finally get to know the whole story of Danganronpa! (Specifically Realta Nua, it's revised by Nasu and the ops for each route are animated by Ufotable) Should be an interesting read!
Ever since I saw this video in the upcoming projects community tab I have been super hyped for it! Danganronpa is one of my favorite game series and easily my favorite visual novel. It feels my heart with joy whenever someone talks fondly of it! Hopefully sometime in the future we get to hear your opinion on the story told at the academy for gifted juveniles!

If you like this visual novel, I recommend trying out Fate/Stay Night which seems to resemble Danganronpa’s themes. Although it’s never been officially released, you can go to the subreddit and ask the mods to help you download the game. I suggest that you turn on the censored mode for the most part except for the Heaven’s Feel route where it plays into its themes. Or you can just go full degenerate and play all the routes uncensored. If you get all the endings, you unlock Last Episode which is an epilogue to the visual novel
I absolutely LOVED the video, but damn why didn't you mention talents, they're one of the core elements of the game. Talking about how Hajime feels worthless in DR3 is nothing without the context of him being a talentless student in a school for Ultimates

I really love this video since you just articulated my feelings on Danganronpa way better than i ever could lol. A shame you didn't include V3 in this retrospective though, despite its different core theme its ending really solidified Danganronpa as a special series in my heart. No matter how controversial it was I'll always believe it was the best ending the series could've asked for.

Attack on Titan has great story would like to hesr your thoughts on it. Violet Everharden and how it uses predictability to make the specific moments more impactful. I'm questioning whether or not I should watch the anime, but I genuinely need to know. Is the suffering I no doubt will experience worth it? All of my current Danganronpa knowledge comes only from all the games in the series, and I have a lot of emotional attachment to the characters, even the ones that have died in the game. That being said, I still watched the video and spoiled myself the anime a little so I need to ask. Do I even want to know how Aoi and Chiaki even end up like that in the first place? Will the tears be worth it?
I personally think it's a great idea. After all, you've already suffered by playing xD DR3 is a nice anime. I loved it. It has a nice story and it doesnt compleeeeetely ruin you.. As for 2.5, its honestly mostly story, not much. But still cool. That's just my opinion tho.

I got into danganronpa about 3 months after v3 was released, v3 dident get me into the series, just happened to be around the time it came out. I was scrolling through my recommend and I saw a ultra despair girls video of kotokos flashback, I watched it for whatever reason, and I remember thinking it was dark as hell but I was intrigued about what the hell this game was. That’s how I got into danganronpa.
4:55 Leon's name was written in the wall. Mondo was sweating during the whole trial and chihiro was killed with a weight and he is the only one among the men that does weight lifting. Celeste sudden change of mood came out of nowwhere so it was very sus. Sakura was onky one that could've done it since the room was locked amd she died with a smile. Mukuro ikusaba..it was a trap i saw the fingernails, Junko wad the only one that used those. Goodbye despair. Teruteru and Nagito were the only ones there before the crime, so they were the only ones that could've hid a weapon. The knife that nagito put under the table didnt have blood. And Twogami was killed from down the floor so it had to be teruteru. The killer didnt have blood in them so they must have whashed themselfves, Peko was the only one with water so it must be her. The temperture of the bodies was alterated and Mikan was the only one with the knowledge that, that could affect her autopsy, so that makes her sus. Gundham already had knowledge about the sounds that Nekumaru's death caused when he was in a soundproof room, he did it. Same case with Sakura, everyone was searching for the bombs together, Nagito must have selfinflicted those injuries. And also, Chiaki was too perfect to be real, so i guessed that she was the traitor and also did the card thing to get rid of the bomb. And i can guess the killer since the chapters tend to get too focused in the victim and the culprit.
Welp, Guess I'll have to replay all of these gems again (Also, really wished you talked about Ultra Despair Girls and V3 as well, it's such an awesome video, but it's missing an amazing spinoff and arguably the best sequel the series could have after Danganronpa 2)

Relating to visual novels, if you liked Daganronpa, I'd recommend the Fate/Stay Night visual novel- the anime source material. (Specifically Realta Nua, it's revised by Nasu and the ops for each route are animated by Ufotable) Should be an interesting read!
I typically didn't like Visual Novels but I loved everything about Danganronpa. I still wish there was more anime adaptations
Ever since I saw this video in the upcoming projects community tab I have been super hyped for it! Danganronpa is one of my favorite game series and easily my favorite visual novel. It feels my heart with joy whenever someone talks fondly of it!

I watched DR3 a year ago and I remember really hating some of it's plot points, like the despair video and also how kirigiri got revived.
I didn't care. I was just happy they got the happy ending they deserved
I love that you talk about the strong atmosphere in the first game, I felt so engaged when I first played that like I was actually part of what was happening. I wish I could experience the series over again!

If you like this visual novel, I recommend trying out Fate/Stay Night which seems to resemble Danganronpa’s themes. Although it’s never been officially released, you can go to the subreddit and ask the mods to help you download the game. I suggest that you turn on the censored mode for the most part except for the Heaven’s Feel route where it plays into its themes. Or you can just go full degenerate and play all the routes uncensored. If you get all the endings, you unlock Last Episode which is an epilogue to the visual novel

I really love this video since you just articulated my feelings on Danganronpa way better than i ever could lol. A shame you didn't include V3 in this retrospective though, despite its different core theme its ending really solidified Danganronpa as a special series in my heart. No matter how controversial it was I'll always believe it was the best ending the series could've asked for.

I'm questioning whether or not I should watch the anime, but I genuinely need to know. Is the suffering I no doubt will experience worth it?
All of my current Danganronpa knowledge comes only from all the games in the series, and I have a lot of emotional attachment to the characters, even the ones that have died in the game. That being said, I still watched the video and spoiled myself the anime a little so I need to ask. Do I even want to know how Aoi and Chiaki even end up like that in the first place? Will the tears be worth it?

I got into danganronpa about 3 months after v3 was released, v3 dident get me into the series, just happened to be around the time it came out. I was scrolling through my recommend and I saw a ultra despair girls video of kotokos flashback, I watched it for whatever reason, and I remember thinking it was dark as hell but I was intrigued about what the hell this game was. That’s how I got into danganronpa.

Celeste sudden change of mood came out of nowwhere so it was very sus.
Sakura was onky one that could've done it since the room was locked amd she died with a smile.
Mukuro ikusaba..it was a trap i saw the fingernails, Junko wad the only one that used those.
Goodbye despair.
Teruteru and Nagito were the only ones there before the crime, so they were the only ones that could've hid a weapon.
The knife that nagito put under the table didnt have blood.
And Twogami was killed from down the floor so it had to be teruteru.
The killer didnt have blood in them so they must have whashed themselfves, Peko was the only one with water so it must be her.
The temperture of the bodies was alterated and Mikan was the only one with the knowledge that, that could affect her autopsy, so that makes her sus.
Gundham already had knowledge about the sounds that Nekumaru's death caused when he was in a soundproof room, he did it.
Same case with Sakura, everyone was searching for the bombs together, Nagito must have selfinflicted those injuries.
And also, Chiaki was too perfect to be real, so i guessed that she was the traitor and also did the card thing to get rid of the bomb.
And i can guess the killer since the chapters tend to get too focused in the victim and the culprit.
Welp, Guess I'll have to replay all of these gems again
(Also, really wished you talked about Ultra Despair Girls and V3 as well, it's such an awesome video, but it's missing an amazing spinoff and arguably the best sequel the series could have after Danganronpa 2)
