Hi Katina. I’m so glad you got some rain to wash all the dust away. Loved your knitting projects and life. I try hard not to impulse buy…. I work hard at not accumulating so much stuff that I can’t keep things tidy. Fabric is the only thing I indulge in…. And I am working at using what I have… after all there will always be more lovely fabrics. Have a great weekend ❤ Diann
I too love the rain! and the snow! but a good rain is the absolute best! the overalls your wearing are so cute I can't wait to hear more about it. I used to be a very impulsive shopper when I was young but these days I'm really not. I don't want too much "stuff" in my house. When I do buy things it's almost always yarn or fabric because those are the things I enjoy the most. I do have a stash of both and I shop my stash for a project first and I'm TRYING to only buy for a specific project. thanks for another thought provoking video Katina!
I love the rain, and the smell of the forest after the rain too! Ive been holding off on fabric purchases but I have bought a little yarn for another project (!!) and ended up buying a couple of patterns too....the trend patterns riviera and the style arc hope !
I am knitting a broken rib hat whilst watching you😁 I do sew in autumn but I find myself knitting a lot in autumn. Warm wooly things for the people I care about. My weakness is reduced fabric and yarn because the price is good. I limit myself though and I live in a small house with only a large craft cupboard to store everything in which helps.
You need to live in England if you like the rain 😊 I cannot walk and knit, in Scotland the ladies had a leather knitting belt called a makin belt it had holes in it to hold a double pointed needle so they could walk and knit. I love Kansas trouble quilters fabric, I impulse buy fabric, crosstitch patterns and fabric 😳 great vlog xx
@@whatmandymadenext8120 I would love to live in England because of the rain! I have heard about the Makin Belr and actually would love one! I use circular needles when I walk and knit. Thank you for visiting with me
It's hard to pass on buying nice fabric I find at the thrift store when it's only $5 for 4 yards, but even that can stack up after awhile. So much fabric...so little time...🤣
I look forward to seeing more outside adventures and seeing what you finish (WIPS)! I’m searching for a knitting pattern I’ve misplaced. I’m ready to purchase yarn for it and now I cannot find my pattern. Maybe I’m not suppose to buy yarn🤣
That last line is sticking with me... can't buy more because I would have excess luggage... Well, I am not moving or traveling BUT every piece of fabric takes physical and mental space, and even though I don't have to pack it, it still weighs me down somehow. I don't have a huge stash but I definitely need to use up what I have before I add any more. And finish wips and refashion items...
What a beautiful season I'm glad you are enjoying it such lovely video thank you
Thank you, Robyn, I am really feeling blessed.
I am so jealous of your rain. We need a good soaking here. Your knitting looks lovely! It was fun seeing what you are up to this week.
@@stacyrobbins thank you, Stacy, I really feel like my soul is drying if I don't have rainy days 🙃

I definitely do impulse buying and it is always on books!!
@@Melodyflea so you are a bookworm? I didn't know that. What do you like to read?

I also shop from my stash as far as possible. I agree with you, having to much stuff is overwhelming!

Rain is the best! What is your next knitting project? Do you have fabric for the patterns that you got ? Thank you for visiting

I love to knit when it gets colder. Having limited space does help to keep things intact. Thank you for visiting with me

@@downtoearthsewing that is so true!! The mental language that stuf can add is really hard. I do like your ethos on your stash
