Great! I expected a circular echo effect in a cooling tower, but hearing that sounded far better!
It's great we can pump this stuff into a convolution device, but even then - much more satisfying to capture the real thing with all the subtle differences that are introduced by natural factors - never the same twice. Inconsistency is a great attribute in music and sound.

@Лоло Козлов I know, but that was the first album that I ever heard produced by her, and it's an album that is absolutely masterful from beginning to end thanks in no small part to her acute ear for tone and mixing. I would argue that Maynard's voice has never sounded sharper on any studio recording subsequent to Undertow, despite Undertow not being my favorite Tool album.

It's 5 years later, and I apologize for that, but the Satsop Nuke plant would probably be easy to get for a venue. In fact it's actually pretty common, It is used as a movie set afterall. It was built to be an operational power plant, but was mothballed before ever coming online. It never had any fuel on site. it is completely safe and the satsop industrial park allows it's use for exactly the things you might want. They even used to let people climb the exterior stairs to the top of the towers. Anyway, it's not out of the question if you want to use it.
