    dont forget about the final value fees.. about 10% of so. You will make money though for sure with this engine part out! Honda fours are very collectable right now

    Appreciate that your trying to sell parts as complete as possible . Liked, the starter , it includes a connector and mounting bolts . That makes a difference when trying to assemble a project . That’s a good sales point and will gain positive reviews fast . I’ve blights parts that were shipped fresh from being disassembled and sometimes filthy . You at least try to accommodate . Helps to,show the condition in a better light as a cleaner part as well . When someone sees all the parts in your on line store , they’ll sell faster to so,Rome who needs multiple parts . A project goes faster for them and your sales ought to go fast too . Best of luck . Make that money ! 👍

    I sell lots snowmobile, and motorcycle parts on ebay, its great little side hustle because everyone needs parts. Ive sold at least 5 complete engines over the years, and Ive broken down complete perfectly running engines and sold them in pieces. Selling complete engines is more of a hassle, and more to worry about it because you dont know if the buyer installed the engine correctly. Biggest fear is selling a complete engine and having it blow up a few rides in.

    Great thing, GG!.. And cleaning the stuff up is for sure a win.! I do have a roll of cheap white drawing paper at the end of my bench, and LY out as cover for the greasy bench-top when taking pictures of my parts,.. Then you've got another advantage in selling the parts.. Great to see your video on this, and actually how you easily make your income in the future... 👍

    Dude thank you! I've been debating whether or not to try and fix my old bike's engine myself because I feel comfortable taking it apart, but not so much putting it back together and trusting my life trying to ride it. This is definitely a lot less complicated than trying to become a youtube mechanic 😂 Great video 👍

    Seems like the better money is in tanks, carbs, seats, chrome parts, etc rather than motor parts at least from my experience on a few vinage bikes.

    I feel like the gears for the Transmission and stuff like that should be individually bubble wrapped then put in the bag cause if I got a bag with all the gears hitting each other I'd be pist just throwing a tip out there

    please give more details on how to get a license to run this type of business to meet the local requirements and recycling issues

    Nice video. Enjoyed watching. Like the aluminum foil idea. I used to sell on eBay and really enjoyed it but now it seems all the profits go to eBay and never understood how to ship cheap. I know a lot of parts are shipped media mail. Which isn’t right. Seems that many buyers nowadays are hard to please even when you are specific and good pics from all angles. I found a lot of money loss from eBay pulling funds and I didn’t get parts back. I wish there was a motorcycle/atv parts locator website designed specifically for this only and reasonable fees where both buyer and seller do well to use.

    Where do you source your bikes from?

  • @EzioKroll
    @EzioKroll ปีที่แล้ว

    Dude thanks for spending time making the video but that's not the way you clean pistons; see the problem with cleaning with an agressive metal brush is yes, you brush away the carbon deposits but you also brush away the aluminium of the pistons thus damaging them as you interfer with the weight, and scratch the crown. The best way is to use ultrasonic cleaning.

      The worst part is to get it started,.. But it's very satisfying when first sale is done, and the ball is rolli'n!.. Take time, finding the exact parts number, and which bike for,.. List it, because the parts might be used in all kinds of bikes,.. From 50cc to 1100cc, (the older stuff) .. then good clean, and marking/bagging.. Happy sales!.. 👍

    ebay takes 13 percent of the total. plus like a 30 cent listing fee of every sell. so if you are paying shipping they still take 13 percent on the gross not the net just a heads up. i have an ebay store and they make it very hard to see whats going on with what you sell. they give you info but its setup up to be vague misleading and unclear lol. good luck!

    1. I dont understand how you can offer free shipping on a $34 part?
    2. I sent a toy to my grandson for Christmas and the shipping cost more than $34!
    3. How do you know how much shipping is gonna be without going to the Post Office?
    4. What happens if the part sells, then it costs more than $34 to ship it?

    • @austinsmart5480
      @austinsmart5480 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ebay has huge shipping discounts with UPS, FEDEX AND USPS; up 64% iirc. Anything under 10 pounds is typically affordable and its worked into the price to be honest. Yea you see something on there with free shipping for $34, but if you do calculated shipping it would be $22-24 plus shipping. Free Shipping is a good marketing tool. Anything over 10 pounds has some value to it as well, so it works out in the end.
