Awesome - what an exciting combination of voices and musicians. I love the way the bass and mandolin come forward in this song as well! Thanks for posting.
BEST SINGER SONGWRITER EVER! Ok with that as my preface, there’s Bruce who wrote the song and put it on Nebraska in 1980 and you listened to that song for almost 15 years before another version came out, and then you had The Band’s, Levon’s rendition, and now this, with Eddie wow, they are ALLL good, because the song is great!!
The best singer-songwriter ever... the frontman of the best rockband ever... singing the singer-songwriter's best song... might be my favorite collaboration, ever.
this is alsome my 2 fav bands plying together love the boss and a huge fan of PJ it soiunds alsome to hear the music thanks a huge fan from northeren NJ aera thxs for bringing back mem of me listennf to these guys allthe time eddie sounds great to legends on a stage that makes my day thx u again mk...........
One of my favorite Springsteen songs of all time, add a dash of vedder and you've got pure magic--or not? I truly enjoyed watching it, but gosh, can't help but feel like the new tempo messes with the song some. Still, a great collaboration. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hey i live both these guys. And I still think this was great. But they were pretty far off as far as being in sync with one another. It was all over the place for me. That is my favorite toon of all time. And again, I love these guys. But couldn't help bet think it was a little all over the place. And I didn't here the violin. I love when that solo hits.
What an Awesome surprise! What could possibily be better than Springsteen and Vedder singing together . . . Then throw Wrigley Field into the mix??? Spectacular!!! Thanks so much for capturing a great concert moment! (btw: Springsteen's web-site has linked your video from their front page!)
I've got that I'll upload later today...also my video of Atlantic City, Jungleland, Thunder Road/Born To Run, Tom Morello's appearance, and more. If only work and preparing for Night 2 didn't get in the way...
It's funny, I love the Band yet can't stand that version. For me this is one of the few Bruce songs where I actually like the album version better. I don't particular care for the way he sings this live
my 2 musical heroes singing my favourite Springsteen song.
Me too! 👍
Eddie just keeps getting better w age :) And the fact that Bruce still plays 4 hr shows at 60+ yrs of age in unreal. Proud to be Jersey Born and Bred.
It is nice that two stars can share the stage and sing together - check their egos.
The 6 people that disliked this need to have the same fate as the Chicken Man
+tperri123 LOL good one!
..now the 17. 'The AC 17' as they were known...
These two restore faith in humanity like we have breakfast…

How great to see this! If only the sound quality was better... still awesome!
Two of the most overwrought performers ever. And yet, they put on a great show.

Amo ouvir o Bruce cantar essa música. A voz dele entra na música e vaiiii e o eddie vai junto.
BEST SONGWRITER EVER !!
I'd love to see the proshot version of this, what an epic performance!
Did you notice, how this live version actually took elements from the Band's version like the harmonica and the more upbeat instrumentation?
Thanks for watching and enjoying the video! I can't believe it's gotten so many views. Thank You and You're Welcome.
Fabulous! Thanks for sharing this.
