Has there ever been a better special guest appearance at a Springsteen concert than this? If so, I'd love to see it.

Lost one of the most dear people in the world to me this morning, and I feel like Bruce (and Glen) are singing directly to me. Tears streaming down my face I know things are going to be alright.
The musicianship of everyone on that stage is impeccable. What a beautiful collaboration of these two voices ❤
I came out of a Dublin pub one cold December night; Glen was walking right in front of me. Just outside the pub two young teenage boys were busking. Glen stopped to listen, me too. After a song or two Glen asked the kids if he could play a song with them. The young boys were blown away with him. And he stayed way too long from his girlfriend’s point of view. Glen the main man in Dublin. Loved very much.

Glen is a poet and a just a great guy. His talent and humility are both at the same high level. He does not forget his friends and is the man you want to call your mate. One of a Kind.
As a side note... I saw Bruce preform Drive All Night in the early 80's in Jersey with Clarence and Glen's duo with Bruce is just as good if not better and I've been following Bruce since '75.
I lived in Dublin in the late 80's. Glen was a regular busker and performer at the Dave Murphy sessions upstairs at McDaids. Guy was always top gentleman and kind.

Love this song so much. Originally by Bruce of course, but Glen just adds his special touch to make it that much better. It’s like it was written for him to cover. ❤️ Love this duet with them both.
I've always thought this was the most romantic song -- not just of Bruce's, but most romantic song I've ever heard.
As a college student turning 20 years old back in December of 1980 I lost my virginity to the first girl I ever loved the night before seeing Bruce live for the first time. It may be wishful thinking (or the fact that I have been a huge Bruce fan since Spring of 1979) but I could swear this song was playing on her stereo at the time. 42 years later I have two grown daughters, a wonderful wife of 3 decades and I am still friends with that girl from 1980 (who I have known since 1977).
Glen's non-stop grin is the best thing about this video.......he's loving it!

I love how Glen sounds so Irish. Some artists lose the accent when they sing but Glen sounds fantastic. Always.

the only problem with songs like this is that they have to end.... this was magical, especially with the view of the stadium filled to the brim. everyone is on the same wavelength, regardless of where they are sitting, when springsteen and his band are playing...... he takes us somewhere wonderful as if it is his sole purpose in life. saint bruce, the melody maker.....

at 6:21 Bruce brings the band down from that incredible "heart and soul" high of Glen and Bruce sharing vocals, with just a slow wave of the arm...so perfect, maybe one of the best Bruce duets of all time, and there are a lot to choose from.

I've never been much of a Springsteen fan. But as I get older, and see him with other artists I really like, I start to get his appeal. It was a brilliant move to have Glen play with him at an Irish gig. Peace.
