It would be nice if the transmission can be tuned. That 6th to 7th shift killed the momentum. Need to rev this thing out to 7k rpm, but can't do it with the stock transmission tune.
Yep, that's what kills it. If you could do that in 3rd-6th it would cut so much time off. Also if you could also get it to not start shifting early if it senses some wheel spin. That part is just as annoying
So far, no tune. Trans and the TCU are Honda made. But Honda treats the trans and TCU as a single part, so when warrantied they both go back to Honda. We have a similar issue on the ECU side with the HPFP pressure control solenoid which means we can use type-r pumps either. Sadly...but we'll see if someone figures it out
I mean people record 60-130 during 1/4 mile passes...and the only thing is to have full power @60 when it starts to record the log, so on a turbocharged car you need to start before It doesn't affect the data in anyway unless you wanted to "bench" a roll race across the world and then you can brake boost instead. For just a time - I'll save my brakes instead lol
@@johnhightower9780 I saved a lot by doing my own labor, and prices are going up. I think all power mods is like 5-6kish. I had some switching of brands on a few parts which makes it blurry for me to say exactly.
