@Last Frontier Channel.... Its definitely a great-looking gun. But to say thats all it is, is ridiculous. The Beretta M9/92FS is one of the very best combat/duty pistols of all time.
The Beretta M9/92FS are the best handguns ever made in my opinion the craftsmanship being the ergonomics are perfect with its slim design and open slide feature to prevent stove pipping all works towards amazing shootability this gun as well as The M1911 you mentioned Browning High power are in its own category seperate from Glocks and other knock up brands!
I love the Beretta M9/92FS. And I also like the other classics that you mentioned also like the 1911 and the Hi-Power. But to try to talk down on Glock's is ridiculous. Glock's are great guns. Especially when it comes to reliability and simplicity.
Used that pistol for 20 years and I love it, even more than the Staccato. Yes there are better guns by the specs, but it’s all in the shooter. It can be squirrelly, especially the first round. However, as you continue to shoot it, you will develop a feel and a sweet spot. After that you will be surgical with it. Just watching videos of it is a blast!
I think I was around 10 years old when I first watched Lethal Weapon. Ever since then I have been obsessed with M9’s lol. Working on getting my permits now. That will be one of my first purchases.
My EDC has always been full size pistols and the M9 was my EDC for years until I upgraded to the M9A3 G model in 2016. Now I rotate between my M9A3 and my Glock 17 Gen4. Excellent video sir.
They are solid, g2g and fun. To me....the M9 and the 226 with mods are the 1911 for our generation vs the 1911...and I am an old timer. Carried mine in service and was happy for the time period.
Add a Langdon Tactical Trigger Bar, Match Hammer, 14 lb chrome silicon hammer spring, 14 lb chrome silicon recoil spring, and a Wilson Combat chrome silicon trigger return spring. Perfect.
I had a couple 92 FS and a 92A1 that I let go as they were just too plump for my liking. Shortly thereafter ..of course...thin grips came out and man that little change made a world of difference. I just picked up a 92X Centurion and a LTT build is next on the list.
I bought my Beretta M9 replica back in 2012 I almost got an Italian made 92fs but the American made M9 was slightly cheaper and I use it as one of my carry guns. I love shooting it and it was made in Accokeek Maryland before they switched to Gallatin Tennessee.
I carried a M9 in Iraq (along with my M4). It's a great pistol, but I have small hands, so I found the grip to be a tad thick. Great channel by the way. I subbed.
Awesome, thank you for serving! Thanks for subbing too. When I went through air force basic 4.5 years ago, I got marksman with the m16a2. I think the air force still uses the m9 too, though I never got to shoot it then.
I bought my M9 a few months ago and put the first 300 rounds through it and love it, I carried one in the Army but never owned one until now, but love this gun and would I use it for SHTF, oh hell yeah
Sold off my last Kimber and Springfield 1911's and went Beretta. Grabbed an M9 and trying out the new tacticool Turkish designs from Girsan. Still getting around the slide mounted safety design but am loving the guns so far.
If you want you can get convert your beretta into decocker only with the G model conversion kit, it's pretty cheap and it definitely improves the ergonomics
Sad to see you let your Springfield Armory and Kimber 1911s go for your Beretta M9. I own a bunch of both, and I love my 1911 pistols & my Beretta pistols. 😊🇺🇸😎👍. Beretta SR.
That and the grenade launcher were my favorite in the army, if you get a chance try one of those, its super fun, usually you would only get to use it in the army but since you are in America you can probably get even f-16 and drop a bomb or something 😁
I've got the full size that's been heavily customized for my personal use. A Jarvis model compensator a titanium recoil guide rod as well as a skeletonized hammer and my last modification is going to be some new sites for it.
The design was inspired from the samurai edge model that I'm not sure which stars member from resident evil uses it but according to people who've done the same modifications to their Berettas the things are nail drivers. The only problem with this modification is depending on the recoil spring you won't be going through that 115 grain you were talking about no you'll need heavier ammunition roughly 124 and up
@ThisDudeKhyle yes i love the mec-gar mags the 18rd are my favorite they sit flush with the gun . they are hard to find right now always sold out online
nice. i love my 92FS basically the same gun as the M9 different sights i believe . its just so smooth and accurate. i love the fact you can load one round at a time if you dont have a mag in it. might come in handy in a shtf scenario LOL
You're right, the magazine safety is a dangerous feature. if you change mags with 1 left in the chamber, but then have to shoot before you complete the mag change...
Nice. Very nice. Not so sure about the box that came with it. Wish it was a bit better quality but I guess it definitely beats a cardboard box like most come in. I would definitely get a nice padded case for that one. What an iconic pistol. I remember seeing it in dozens of films and TV from my youth. Still is used a ton in movies. Because in a world of cookie cutter Glocks and 1911s that may start to look ho-hum after a while, the Beretta 92F/M9 still after all these years, always looks bad ass! Yes it's a gigantic frikkin gun that's heavy as hell, and that can double as a metal club after you finally empty the box of ammo it can hold, but we wouldn't have it any other way! Every time I see one, I wanna yell YIPPEE KI-YAY ------!
i traded for a former police beretta fs 92 model, have changed out recoil spring and extractor and spring , can not wait to shoot yet, its in good condition with minor holster wear.
Just noticed that your recoil control was perfect! Can you explain a little bit more on how to do that? (Besides the fact that you have to have a firm and correct grip)
In addition to gripping the gun like a firm handshake and not death gripping the gun, your arms and shoulders play a great deal in recoil control as well, arms and shoulders should also be engaged and slightly tensed. If you thought the recoil control on the M9 was great, check out my CZ P-10 C and Glock 19 video linked here, the recoil control on those are even better. th-cam.com/video/WFVwpBSUhVg/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/5Oie3x3SKEE/w-d-xo.html
