The cutting mat that is being used is a self healing mat from Quilters Select. They are available in various sizes. She is using a wool pressing mat. Do you have a favorite vinyl ?

There are lots of different vinyls on the market. The key is to get one designed to be used on Fabric. We use the Brother vinyl quite a bit with great results.
