The "I love you" so early into relationships kills me every time! The last guy I dated told me he loved me within 6 weeks, and it bothered me so often because from that point, I felt like he was eagerly waiting for me to say it back. I'd known him less than 2 months, I definitely didn't love him! I liked him, or I wouldn't have been dating him, but come on. He ended up moving far too quickly and I discovered other issues that made us not very compatible, so after 6 months I ended things. But the "love" word early on is a huge red flag in my personal book.

Poor Rose. She was the realest human being I’ve seen on 90 days. She shared that meeting Ed was part desperation bc she would do anything to give her son a better life. The "I love you" so early into relationships kills me every time! The last guy I dated told me he loved me within 6 weeks, and it bothered me so often because from that point, I felt like he was eagerly waiting for me to say it back. I'd known him less than 2 months, I definitely didn't love him! I liked him, or I wouldn't have been dating him, but come on.
He ended up moving far too quickly and I discovered other issues that made us not very compatible, so after 6 months I ended things. But the "love" word early on is a huge red flag in my personal book.

Poor Rose. She was the realest human being I’ve seen on 90 days. She shared that meeting Ed was part desperation bc she would do anything to give her son a better life. But I think she did end up trying her best, investing her feelings and energy. She must’ve been through sometime traumatic in the last relationship. The way she cried when Ed hurt her shows that she did care. She was actually hurt by him. If she didn’t care, she wouldn’t have felt anything.
The self-respect that she has is really admirable.
