I have been married for nearly 24 years. I refuse to be intimate with my husband without being freshly showered. And I mean every single time. When I was first going out with my current bf of two years, I asked him to go down on me. His eyes widened and face flushed. I asked what was wrong. He started to say "My ex, *ex's name*, used to make me go down on her all the time. If I didn't would make fun of me in front of our friends. She smelled and tasted so bad...." Then he stopped, ran, and threw up all over the bathroom. I never asked him to do it again after that, but about a year or so after he seemed to get better and asked me permission to multiple times a week. Recently we were at a party and his friends brought up how bad his ex smelled and that she is worse now, and they drunkenly asked him about how she tasted. He threw up again at the party. Lol this was on 90 day fiance and this woman was a wreck. Deep in debt, her lights and other utilities were constantly getting cut she had 4 other kids that lived with her, and yet was crying because she couldn't get her $500 dress. She then lost her job before he could get his work visa and he had to rush to find work to support her and her 4 kids. He started taking "business" trips out to other states to meet up with other women and evidently got one pregnant. She clung to this dude like glue and even though they were both miserable and everyone in her family could see she denied it and continued to hang on to him her son and muhamed got into an altercation that led to court. Her son was being charged with a domestic violence charge for threatening to toss muhamed out a window for hurting his ma and she didn't even show up to defend him the son got charged and had a hard time finding work cause of it. She did absolutely nothing and still defend her marriage lol definitely an interesting season

In Toronto we were taught in elementary school separate health class....menstruation, hygiene etc. Boys learned about genital washing, puberty armpit smells etc so they told us.

Also, try to keep it dry as much as possible. If that means carrying around spare panties, so be it. And always let your lady parts air out over night.

When I worked at the police department, the detectives had a lady come in that smelled so badly below that she left the stink on the chair after she left. The detectives threw the chair out. Maybe this is too transparent, my boyfriend and I were about 6 months in. Very sexually active, we were committed so I got on birth control and we stopped using condoms. Yes and no. He definitely was not in love with her but it is DEFINITELY wrong for her to tell someone she supposedly loves she will deport them if they don't perform sexual acts that make them uncomfortable. On the other hand a marriage that lacks intimacy and has very large age discrepancies raises some red flags with immigration. Maybe she was gross...but maybe he thinks green cards are easy to get with women that don't value themselves. I was married to someone who used me for a green card and for the clout of being married to an American. That being said when I caught him on dating websites, sexually harassing female co-workers AND throwing plates at my head/threatening me when confronted I had enough after 3 years. Though I wanted to run screaming, I was legally bound and divorce is more complicated when green cards are involved. I offered the suggestion of mental health/couples counseling and he declined. I made sure I had everything documented. Because narcissistic people don't ever believe or care their toxic behavior causes problems. I simply told him "You have shown me clearly based on your repeated behavior (list examples of bad abusive behaviors) you don't love me. You have made it clear you aren't willing to put in the work with me in this marriage. It would be unethical for me to lie to federal government that would result in you getting your green card for our marriage. Especially when our marriage is unhealthy and I am not interested remaining married to you." Then I had him move out and I divorced him. I even did him the favor of sending the divorce papers and letter/police reports to immigration so everyone is aware in what is going on. I was out of the equation at that point. It's up to immigration, him and his lawyer regarding his future here. I believe this woman has the right to feel used/hurt. She has a right to speak to her husband about her dissatisfaction in her marriage. However, to continually threaten deportation makes it easier for her credibility to go down the toilet and increases opportunities to be continually disrespected/devalued by her partner which is making her crazy by trying to force him to be physically intimate with her because she thinks it will fix fundamental issues in her marriage . You can't force someone to love you but you can love yourself enough to get the fuck out of there and end the damn thing when your pain is falling on deaf ears. I hope she has found peace.

When I was younger, I thought all vaginas smelled like bring out your dead day at high noon on the summer solstice during a plague. Just so everyone knows.. if a woman has a certain smell down there, it doesn't necessarily have to mean bad hygiene: there can be a (temporary) hormone imbalance, or a bacterial infection (which also doesn't mean bad hygiene, just that for some reason the natural acidity of the vagina is out of whack), amongst other things. I do think it's important for people to have an open conversation about this with their partner because they might not be aware of the smell and may actually need medical attention or to make more effort to keep it clean down there. So if you really like a woman but this is an issue for you, definitely bring it up because a lot of causes are generally easily fixable. I would also recommend women to check the smell themselves every once in a while, so that you're aware of your vagina's health and to avoid situations where your bedpartner has to be the one to find out before you do. When I was first going out with my current bf of two years, I asked him to go down on me.

Lol this was on 90 day fiance and this woman was a wreck. Deep in debt, her lights and other utilities were constantly getting cut she had 4 other kids that lived with her, and yet was crying because she couldn't get her $500 dress. She then lost her job before he could get his work visa and he had to rush to find work to support her and her 4 kids. He started taking "business" trips out to other states to meet up with other women and evidently got one pregnant. She clung to this dude like glue and even though they were both miserable and everyone in her family could see she denied it and continued to hang on to him her son and muhamed got into an altercation that led to court. Her son was being charged with a domestic violence charge for threatening to toss muhamed out a window for hurting his ma and she didn't even show up to defend him the son got charged and had a hard time finding work cause of it. She did absolutely nothing and still defend her marriage lol definitely an interesting season

You have made it clear you aren't willing to put in the work with me in this marriage. It would be unethical for me to lie to federal government that would result in you getting your green card for our marriage. Especially when our marriage is unhealthy and I am not interested remaining married to you." Then I had him move out and I divorced him. I even did him the favor of sending the divorce papers and letter/police reports to immigration so everyone is aware in what is going on. I was out of the equation at that point. It's up to immigration, him and his lawyer regarding his future here. I believe this woman has the right to feel used/hurt. She has a right to speak to her husband about her dissatisfaction in her marriage. However, to continually threaten deportation makes it easier for her credibility to go down the toilet and increases opportunities to be continually disrespected/devalued by her partner which is making her crazy by trying to force him to be physically intimate with her because she thinks it will fix fundamental issues in her marriage . You can't force someone to love you but you can love yourself enough to get the fuck out of there and end the damn thing when your pain is falling on deaf ears. I hope she has found peace.

Just so everyone knows.. if a woman has a certain smell down there, it doesn't necessarily have to mean bad hygiene: there can be a (temporary) hormone imbalance, or a bacterial infection (which also doesn't mean bad hygiene, just that for some reason the natural acidity of the vagina is out of whack), amongst other things.
I do think it's important for people to have an open conversation about this with their partner because they might not be aware of the smell and may actually need medical attention or to make more effort to keep it clean down there. So if you really like a woman but this is an issue for you, definitely bring it up because a lot of causes are generally easily fixable. I would also recommend women to check the smell themselves every once in a while, so that you're aware of your vagina's health and to avoid situations where your bedpartner has to be the one to find out before you do. Sorry for the long rant but I just want everyone to be happy, healthy and have good sex :-)

You’re absolutely right, but in this case, with this couple, he did tell her privately and she continually argued about it. Then on top of that dangled his citizenship like a carrot. If you’ve seen the entire episode you’ll hear him allude to that sexual problem and it not just being as simple as a random temporary bad smell. He says that he believes she need to seek medical attention for this issue. That makes me wonder, what did this man physically observe and smell to make him say, this needs a Dr.
