These came on my wife's 2019 Canyon we bought new in late 2018. I remember thinking wow, not much tread depth for brand new tires. We just replaced them at 42,000 with the Steadfasts. Not because they were worn out, because they kept losing tire pressure, some more than others, but all of them. And at 6 years old, they were starting to show some surface cracking from age, and another winter is coming, so I decided it's time.

I have the Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT on my 2022 Ram Laramie 1500 4x4. I have 20810 miles on my truck and the outer edges of all 4 tires are wearing prematurely. They won't last another 4K miles. The Goodyear website states these tires are 65K mile tires. I don't do burn outs, don't take my truck off road, and don't beat my truck up. I have rotated the tires every 5K miles and maintain the air pressure to factory spec. I had my dealership verify that the vehicle alignment is good and the tires and wheels are properly balanced. Could someone please explain why my tires are wearing so poorly?

I have the same truck only 2020. I am at 42k on the truck. I have the same exact problem with my tires that you do. They are not good tires
how about rain? I know you can't test snow living in texas. but tire rack rates them almost poor for snow and ok for rain at a 7.3 but michelin and continental is 9.2 in rain

The Goodyears are "Okay" in the rain but my opinion is that the Tire Rack reviews are an accurate reflection.
I am personally a fan of Michelin Tires and have them on two different vehicles at this time.
If it is in the budget I would definitely suggest the Michelin for a highway tread truck tire.

I think that super long wear tires give up performance for long life. I had a name brand long life tire and it wore well but if there was a drop of water and it took a football field to stop. The dry performance and ride were great.

We load the truck fairly heavy at times hauling our hunting and camping gear. Very little towing outside of a few trips a year pulling a trailer for landscape materials or projects around the house.
We purchased a 19FT single axle RV trailer weighing about 3200 pounds and pulled it on a couple of trips at the end of the life of the Goodyears and they pulled great.

Thanks for the review. Noise and ride comfort are my top priority. You mentioned they are loud and they get noisy. How noisy and how loud in comparison to other tires ?? How about their smoothness and comfort?

The noise level on the Goodyear is one of the weak points for sure and that is basically every model that I have had experience with, especially as they age.
Smoothness and comfort are somewhere in the middle but like all tires, they will just degrade as they age.
If smoothness and comfort are the top priority and price isn't a concern look at the Michelin options for highway tread IMO.
If you are considering an all-terrain and a little more budget-minded tire you may consider the Nitto or Toyo line.

Goodyear advertises them as being all-terrain. How would these tires hold up on driving on old logging roads? you know, the kind of roads where there's lots of gravel, dirt, and shale rocks (the kinds of rocks that like to slice tires if you hit them just right)?
IMO you would be okay at best in dry weather but with any kind of inclement weather, they would deteriorate fast for usable traction and/or durability. The tread just doesn't have that capability.
