the camera issue with vibration is only if your lense is "stabilized" Since your phoen is likely an iphone SE 2016. ( i ve had 2 of these phone and i bought the second one 6 years into the first one before it broke because i knew i wouldn't find another one after.) Anyway, the relevant part is that the iphone SE 2016 doesn't have a stabilized lense and will not break under vibration because there are no springs into the camera. So your set up is fine but your experience doesn't mean anything for someone with any other models including the SE 2019 wich i believe is stabilized. i love your vids i watched the entirety of the trip to texas. You re a cool guy do not hesitate to make it longer. Also i m getting an answer before this friday for a job that will get me my own V4S . Fingers crossed.
damn, this is so smart actually 😀 i never liked the mount things, never trusted them to keep the phone in place on high speeds and/or bumpy roads. thanks for the idea! i'll be doing this right away for my r1.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah, this goes on/off in 10 seconds, is secure and your bike doesn’t have any ugly mount on it all the time even when you’re not using it. And it’s Cheap! 😎
My V4 came with a battery tender plug already installed. The plug sits just under the top triple tree. Then you just need to buy a battery tender/usb connector to plug in your phone.
