Wow! just wow! I ❤ that gourd banjo, but only you and your voice can make it sound that awesome. A beautiful setting also. Thank you Talise for sharing your talent.
The gourd fits the song very well. The choke Cherries and Crab Apples are in blossom along with the Tundra roses. Fairbanks Folk Fest is this Saturday. Summer is here in the far North. Looking forward to your new songs.
Great Work My brain used to be able to think in geetar, i could listen to piano songs etc, pick up an acoustic and finger pick it Strokes have taken my finger picking back to thimb strumming, but listening to you, im thinking on banjo I wont be able to pick a banjo, but im getting a violin. Ivr messed with them before when I had a cafe the locals all played music in, so I'm sure i can get tonplaying it ok Your talent inspires me
That gourd rig makes such dreamscape. It’s like an effect pedal but sounds natural and fitting perfectly to the instrument. Another cerebral journey cut painfully short at three minutes… leave em wanting more I suppose 👍
The tone of this gourd banjo sounds similar to the kora a little. I’d be interested to hear it with some Malian scales too. What you played here was really cool.
Very Gourd!
Very smooth, the tone of that gourd banjo- A perfect complement to your singing. So lovely. Many thanks, sister. 🙂👍👍

I like the gourd banjo, it has a softer sound 🙂. It goes well with your peerless vocals.

Great. A song i'm not aware of. Who else is it done by?
I can’t remember exactly where this tune came from!
You should cover Jolene by Dolly Parton
