Lord have mercy. Your soulful voice compliments some full throttle clawhammer banjo rhythm. 'All aboard' No stoppin' this train til the end of the line. Many thanks.
The wind making the audio cut out at 1:00 and 2:38 "hear the whistle blow 100 miles" is absolutely magical - those are either some sick editing skills or mother nature is singing with you
Come here to listen to this song over and over and over again. Everything fits here, this rhythmic Banjo, the incredibly great voice. Which is so diverse and deep. And even the video and the nature sounds. It's all almost a kind of orchestra. Thank you for this video and this song. With love from Germany
The timing of this rendition is perfect. I genuinely checked my settings to make sure it wasn't running at 1.5x. Those filters are really doing a great job on this one too. It looks stunning. Always a pleasure Talise, keep it up!
Loving your channel so far. Great vocals, great banjo playing, and great song selection. Been thinking about adding bass into some of these songs, I hope you don't mind.
Bloody hell, you're very talented Edit: I imagine the hours of practice helps too Have you heard of Mean Mary and Hannah Mae? Id love to hear you ladies cover a classic banjo song. A collab between the three of you would go hard
Nice version. very nice. My friend Seth does a great version also. Hasn't played it for awhile. I'll have to get him to play it next Wednesday. Got three inches of snow in an hour here. I'm off to scoop snow but I hope I'll make some music later.
I realized that I never put a recording of our Reuben's Train on the TH-cam channel. I had 4 recordings from our gigs at the College Coffee House in Fairbanks, AK. Put the best in the Logic DAW and after a bit over and hour got something OK Seth's vocal mic was week but OK with some tweeking. I might get it on TH-cam in the next couple days. I could put an Email address for me here If you can access Dropbox I can send a link or send an mp3. Seth does have an interesting way of playing that tune.
@@yeoldfart8762 That would be great! I don't have a dropbox account unfortunately, but if you are able to add the link here whenever you upload i'll give her a listen☺
This is what youtube is for. Finding incredible talent like this.

People can play like all sorts of instruments. But just imagine opening your mouth and this coming out.

Awh thank you so much! And thank you for always supporting 💗
Its cool that even though you hear the wind come in and out(noise canceling software?) your voice is always clear and cuts through it all.
Keep on rollin' sister... love it. And the wind actually helps this song, by the way.... nice.
Solid right hand and pretty groovy playing honestly. Great singing of course

Your style reminds me a bit of the very young Bob Dylan (except female and pretty).

I've already listened to this 5 times. These nature sessions are really immersive. Do you have a microphone donation box anywhere?
I’m currently saving up for an ear trumpet labs mic!
Nice job 🪕🪕

Incredible talent. You'd do an excellent cover of The Boxer by Emmylou Harris.
I love Emmylou Harris! Great suggestion☺️
