I played this game a bunch on the DS back when I was a kid, and it's nice to see somebody bringing light towards it. Nice video, loved the review. Also the reason the soundtrack sounds a bit off a times is because the OST wasn't made for this game, it's all just a bunch of licensed songs shoved into this game. I believe the DS soundtrack has more going for it than the console soundtracks.
Ginormica should have been added to the race roster since she's the main protagonist while Bob is the comic relief and the main advertising character for their franchise.
This'll be great I can already tell. Would love to see some love for Cartoon Network games like Punch Time Explosion (considering the Nickelodeon counterpart is coming out soon)
I probably will because of the Nick one. I'm just hoping the release date doesn't make me play two crossover platform fighters back to back, but who knows.
if this game was intended as reboot for CTR even if we assume the 12 rooster was mimic the original vibe of the game, the roosters at time when was crash (shrek), Skipper (probaly an redesign of Penta penguin), Tiger one (Pura the tiger redesign?), The puddgie slime (probaly was meant be the Shark villain of Crash reboot at one point), Toothless (probaly intended be Spyro as a guest character like it did on the Gba counterpart?), Fiona (Coco obivously), The donkey (Was meant be dingodile i guess)
I wish this game got the Nickelodeon kart racers treatment, you know, have a unexpected sequel a few years later that fixes issues and massively ups the roster.
Yo Frozen I wanna give you a heads up about How to Train Your Dragon 2 if you ever cover the game. There are 5 versions of it and only two of them are missing content. The 3DS and Wii versions. Which doesn't make sense considering how all the games are basically the same yet those two are lacking them. As well there are cheat codes to unlock them. Not to mention there is a move you can do in the game that beats using fire called Viking Rush I believe and it's stupidly broken. Seriously watch it and tell me it isn't black magic. Also the other versions are Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360
There's a new one called Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing. It's being developed by Bamtang Games. They worked on the Nickelodeon Kart Racers trilogy. 2 & 3 are good games. The 3rd one is my favorite. It's safe to say the new Dreamworks Kart Racer is going to be way better than this one.

Also Kung Fu Panda is in Brawlhalla too with several other cartoon ips. Figured I would mention it since I figure why not give ya something interesting to look into
The reason the roaster so bad as this game reused assets from past games they did and license they could do since this is the last dreamworks game from this company

My assumption was meant be Polar the bear Replacment but that time scheduled runed out and the devs didnt give time making other cast of characters by that time of replacing everything they had for the CTR Reboot engine.

Kind of a shame that they didnt take the opportunity to make so 100%ing the game unlocks the dreamworks boy on the moon as a playable character.
Companies were and are too lazy for awesome stuff anymore. They would just sell you the boy for £25 extra

The lack of Kung Fu Panda and Over the Hedge representing was supremely disappointing tbh

Unfortunately no. When it came to getting the music I had to record it in game and use that footage for it.
