Watching this in very drizzly, wintery Tasmania, with dreams of our spring and summer coming. Thank you for brightening up my day with those blooms I get to look forward to. What I did want to mention, (if you can get it over there, ) is a delightful climber I am currently enjoying the winter flowers of is my Hardenbergia violacea. It's incredibly hardy (it's handled minus 6) the foliage is glossy and beautiful and of course, gives me winter interest. Something to look out for. Thank you again for the video.
One more, gotta feed the algorithm.. That Moscheutos cultivar you've got there is stunning!! Put it on my wishlist for next year, I'll have to search/ask around if anyone has something like that here in The Netherlands
Thanks for the tour. This is the first I've seen of your videos, and I love what you're doing, an adventurous collection of exotics. Your Brassaiopsis mitis seems very related to Trevesia palmata; both are very uncommon even in botanical gardens I find.
I love your garden!!! Such a fun mix of plants and flowers! ❤ I do want to give out a warning for one of the plants you showed, the poke weed, it’s perennial and can overtake an area pretty quickly here is NC, USA and I’m one zone colder than you are. I’ve dug out roots from pokeweed that were thick as my arm. I dug out about 3 big trash bags full of it! So be careful with it. Don’t let the birds get to those seeds as they will spread them around everywhere. 😢 Personally I don’t think pokeweed is a good plant to grow at all. Those berries also stain things when the birds poop them out or when they just fall and crush on the ground. Ok enough of the bad things about that plant. 😂 Your garden is lovely with everything else you have!
Pretty Geranium blooms, I've got a species with red leaves that has about the same colours of flower. But it blooms for a much shorter time. My other Geraniums bloom with smaller flowers but keeps going all season like yours does. Preferable for the bugs :) Those 3 more common ones I have are here to stay in my garden! Here in my village they have what I think is the same species as you, they also keep going. Great value and really important to check length of blooms before buying any plant, some look good on the pictures but disappoint in real life haha
