Pleased to hear you found my video useful. I'll try to post another video in the New Year to cover some other winter gardening jobs, so would welcome ideas from viewers on what I should include.
Thank you Rosy. That's very kind of you. My channel is gaining traction bit by bit, and what lovely subscribers I'm attracting from around the world. It does take time doesn't it, and good content too. But with a burgeoning garden outside my back door it is fun sharing it with garden lovers everywhere. And with great content in mind I'm always eager to watch what you've been up to on your great channel @RosyHardy Gardening and would encourage all my subscribers to take a look at your informative content. Happy gardening!
adam, what a lovely, considerate neighbour you are. I wish my neighbours were the same. We currently battle loads of ivy, tall 40 feet overhanging trees and a 10ft wall of bramble. 😞 Thank you for another great video. Happy gardening 🙂
Thank you. I think everyone should be considerate of their neighbours ... prevent weeds or plants spreading/invading (!), keep hedges cut, and something I often find walking round my area is that hedging is spreading right across pavements too. I have a love/hate relationship with ivy. It is a vakuable evergreen and good habitat for nesting birds, but it does spread .... sometimes too much and too quickly!
@@Adams-Gardening-Guides yes indeed. My neighbour also has ivy that grows over our fence and we have to keep an eye on it as it very easily and quickly grows up out house wall 😞We keep our plnts and trees in check so as not to encroach on their property. Just wish they'd do the same
We are lucky enough to have a stone wall at the side of our front garden. The top is covered in ivy which then goes into the top of a line of trees. Amazing how it spreads. This ivy has spread across the trees and all the way up the lines of trees lining the country road leading from our house
Hi Everyone. I do hope you enjoy this video, and if you do I'd like to invite you to both subscribe to my channel and give this video a 'Thumbs Up'. Thank you! And do check out Part 1 of this video series too that covers my 10 Flowering Favourites for long-lasting colour! I'd also welcome your comments, and especially any suggestions of plants for long-lasting flowers and colour you enjoy in your garden. HAPPY GARDENING!
Beautiful and easy to watch video, thank you Adam 🥰 I was given a small pot of white daphne grown from a cutting and I'm yet to find a final place for it in my crowded bedding🙏. Your garden is so beautiful!💚 x
@@lifeisbeautiful-smile thank you. I hope you find a suitable new home for your Daphne. How lovely receiving one grown from a cutting. Such a special plant to have
Hello Adam, loving your channel. I had a question about hostas in winter. You said that you store them in the greenhouse, do you water them during winter ?
@@asmakhan4506 thanks for your question. Hostas are completely hardy and I actually leave my pots outside all winter. They do not need greenhouse protection. As plants die down and go dormant they do not need watering and pots left outside are still exposed to rain. They will naturally start growing again in spring.
