@@Sphendrana PSN is not safe. It has had a very comprehensive history of being hacked over the years. This results in user's data being stolen by malicious parties. This can lead to issues such as identify theft (which has happened to PSN users back in 2011).
Also, if a person has like 200 games on steam, then data such as purchase history, their reviews on games, preferences of games, limited bank data used to purchase games on steam, etc will be exposed to third parties incase of a data breach on Sony's end (which is pretty common compared to other companies). Also, even if Sony didn't have frequent data breaches, they would use this user data to sell to other advertisement companies to give its users specialized ads based on their purchasing habits. Any claims about security in relation to this PSN account linking fiasco is a facade to get more data from the steam users and to show a increased userbase for PSN to shareholders.
"PSN is not available in some regions" is a false statement. It is not available in MOST regions. Out of the 192 countries, only 69 of them have access to PSN. Due to steam's refund policy only allowing 2 hrs of gameplay, people who have spent hard earned money to purchase the game AND participate in ingame purchases to support the developers have been kicked out from the player base and have had their money basically stolen. If PSN was a necessity from the beginning, Sony should not have sold the game in those regions that they don't support. This practice is equivalent to a rug pull and it highly immoral (and perhaps illegal).
Also, when you went to Sony's website in the faq section, the answer to "do you need a PSN account to play play station games on pc" was a no. Only a couple of hours before the announcement of PSN linking did this faq get edited to "some games may need a PSN account". This is scummy for obvious reasons. People may have reffered to this faq before purchasing the game, so to have it change so recently is an anti consumer move from Sony.
There are more things i could say about the morality of the situation but imma end it here.
AH deserves all of their success and glory. Making games because they love making games, protecting their projects from soulless corporate greed.

Man, Magicka was one of the best things to have happened back then, I've had copious amounts of fun with my friends during that time.
It makes sense why Helldivers turned out the way it did, the skill and humour balance feel of both games is probably what really ties all together.
Sony has to understand that if you mix a bucket of poop and a bucket of cake you end up with two buckets of poop.
Better wise up sony suits. We wont bend the knee.
I just hope that AH don’t let off the gas, updates have been so consistent I almost forgot what a live service game is supposed to be!
The biggest party killer in Magicka was the damn netcode. We had to use hamachi to play together semi stable

The situation seems to be resolved with PlayStation's announcement. Then the full outcome is known I won't if anyone will be able to secure an interview with Arrowhead about how they feel about working with PlayStation after what happened. Do think you should make a follow up video at some point regardless.
Game is great, but unfortunately Sony woke up and it wants ALL THE MONEY.

My favorite part of helldivers 1 if you played it on the ps4 is that you would hear sound effects from the controller like when your ran out of ammo. Also cape spinning.

I don't think having Sony force this on them makes it their fault, nor are they like everyone else. They got Corpo'd. They thought it was a good move, turns it out wasn't, actually. But I wouldn't put the blame on AH. This is a Sony thing.

Sometimes I think friendly fire should be extended to also destroy samples and secondary objectives, like the artilery shells making their success impossible. It would make the game more tactical. But there should me more samples in the game for compensation.

on one hand, arrowhead does deserve praise for keeping the spirit of gaming alive
on the other hand, i want to bash them like bongo drums for their coding, which consistently crashes and glitches across all their titles. its unacceptably bad coding in games with serious potential. to put it simply, magicka could have been so much more if the team didn't suck.

Also the comment about boring food is completely lost in translation, i think the joke was supposed to be that they ate swedish meatballs, 'Köttbullar', so often that they started calling them 'Tjatbullar' which has a similar pronounciation but roughly translated means nag-balls.

@@thejuansnow Update: Sony has stated (but not yet reversed) that it will not be blocking the sale of and playing of Helldivers 2 in more than 170 countries because of the decision to enforce a PSN login connection to operate.
For the time being, the game is still no longer listed in at least 170 countries for purchase at this time due to this decision.
