Discover the incredible benefits of pomegranate husk in this informative video! Join me as I delve into the world of herbal medicine and share one of my favorite herbal allies: pomegranate husk. From its potent medicinal properties to its role in promoting digestive health, pomegranate husk has earned a top spot in my herbal dispensary.
As an experienced herbalist, I value herbs that are effective, safe for medium to long-term use, backed by scientific research, and rooted in traditional cultural practices. Pomegranate husk ticks all these boxes, making it a valuable addition to my practice.
In this video, I'll explore the various actions and indications of pomegranate husk. Known for its astringent properties, this herbal remedy acts on the mucosal lining and helps restore balance to the gut microbiota. It possesses potent antimicrobial properties, targeting bacteria, parasites, and even some fungal infections.
When it comes to bacterial dysbiosis, gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Campylobacter, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, Yersinia, and H. pylori are among the main culprits. Pomegranate husk can effectively combat these pathogens and support the healing process.
Furthermore, I'll discuss how pomegranate husk can be particularly helpful in addressing loose stools or diarrhea. Its powerful action can assist in rebalancing the gut long term.
The active constituents of pomegranate husk, such as polyphenols and plant tannins, play a crucial role in its antimicrobial effects. By selectively targeting unfriendly bacteria while supporting beneficial ones like bifidobacteria, pomegranate husk helps restore a healthy gut microbiome.
While I primarily focus on digestive health in this video, it's important to note that pomegranate husk offers a range of other benefits as well. Stay tuned for more videos where I'll introduce you to additional herbal allies I've come to love.
If you found this video helpful, please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more informative content. If you reside in Australia or New Zealand and require digestive health support, feel free to reach out to us at the clinic. Together, let's embrace the power of natural remedies like pomegranate husk for optimal well-being.

Could you please do a video on Helicobacter infections? You make the comment in this video that H pylori can be difficult to treat and you may need to use higher doses of certain herbal treatments. Hearing you discuss that in more detail would be very helpful.

I don't think you mean that. Do you have links to any sources? I found one place that sells husk powder in a bag, but the source is kind of sketchy to me. I live in the USA.

Hello Byron, I have had giardia and was tested for it mid November of 2023. I had a retest toward the end of December and now just last week. I tested negative for the last 2 tests. However, I continue to have bloating, gas, diarhea which is why I wanted to be retested. I have taken Florastor for a couple weeks, and I am taking Seed right now as it seemed that Florastor did not really help. My doc recommended I change the probiotic to Visbiome. I know you don't take any appt internationally (I'm in US) but can you make some suggestions? I took 3 weeks of Flagyl and then took the antibiotic that you take once. That one did not work which is why I wound up taking 3 weeks of Flagyl. Please help!
