- Windows 7 Beta was an interesting time - the betas had a unique look and feel to them, one that Windows 7 was able to replicate - but not exactly. In this video, we'll be taking a look at Project 07, which is a fully up to date (Jan 2020) version of Windows 7 that aims to bring the look and feel of the Windows 7 betas.

I want to create an open source future proof Windows 7 build so badly. I'm not ready to let it go
Windows 7 is closed source. If the source code was leaked (as opposed to be intentionally released by Microsoft), it would be illegal to fork.
You can keep Windows 7 after end of life if you want to play Steam games I highly recommend virtual machining a Linux desktop along side of Windows 7 or dual boot it with Linux to "future" proof your experience the closest thing to continue playing Steam games on Windows 7 in 2024 I can think of is running Linux on a virtual machine so you aren't physically removing any physical experience with your current Operating System since you're technically using virtual machine to run Steam games is realistic and will help you learn Linux.

Don't worry man you aren't going to be hated for switching to macos, especially when Linux and macOS became a much better consideration after the copilot disaster (including the recall feature that basically spies on your PC)
Edit: anything pre-copilot is good atp btw
looks marvelous. almost as good as Aurora themed Vista, while this one is more aquatic. So 2008...
7:39 not. It's 11
Does this version have a support for eMMC drives ?
It looks almost completely like the Build 7000 version, although Microsoft should keep this aero-aquatic design in the official Windows 7, it's incomparable.
Can you run a test on Windows 7 updated to 2024.7.10?
Yep, going to download this. 7 was the best version of windows bar-none!😢
I've been a lifelong Windows user, but I agree with you there, only I'm ready to switch to Linux.
Someone should maks custom win 7 iso with win 10 dlls and files and updates...
why dont you try 10to7's
try Project '05, same thing but vista
3.1~7 were intuitive, 8.0~11 are nothing but a headache
for real
Loved 7, Stuck hard with it until 11, and I only use 11 over Linux... For nothing really, just always have it Dual Boot for no reason lol
😂
But if you are annoyed that the unused Windows partition is taking up space, you can delete that anytime and make space for your Linux home directory.
@@commentarysheep LOL, Most Definately.
It Always a a SMALL NTFS Part.
DVD Authoring/Backups work better in Windows it seems.
6 GB is still smaller than a average Windows XP ISO from TeamOS
This is quite interesting!
Iam downloading❤❤❤❤
Bub hub thinking about switching to MacOS of all things pains me
I use macOS for work and I can't stress enough how much I love it. Windows is terrible in comparison (my opinion). I am genuinely ready to make the switch, just have to pull the trigger on purchasing a Mac
@@bubhub10 I agree with windows being awful, but why switch to MacOS instead of Linux? I personally find Macs too restrictive.
No more fitting the image on dvd disc anymore . Buy some more big usb drive. Key
First comment! 😁
