Hello from the corona era. I’ve had so many anxiety attacks since this pandemic hit a few have sent me to the hospital. This was actually very calming easy to follow and understand and I felt a sense of relief immediately after this was done. I’ll definitely be using this multiple times a day
This helped me so much I struggle with breathing problems and nobody taught me how to breathe for trauma attacks I’d get because I didn’t have my biological parents growing up I’ve been with a dysfunctional family and they ignore all my mental illnesses or just treated me like I was different if I tried explaining to them this has really helped I’d be scared I was going to die from trying to catch my breathe so thank you so much for this 🤍🤍🤍 very grateful!
I am new to breathing/yoga and really struggle with too much mouth breathing, not enough nose breath. It was great to find a video that is easy to follow, truly suitable for beginners. So many videos say they are for beginners but they are not. I found your video easy to follow, easy to do, your delivery is simple and you have a very comforting voice. Thank you for helping me to get starting on my journey to finding my breath!
Hi Lauren , this was so good. Been sick (cold and cough ) for a few days and just did these breathing techniques before going to bed ,felt so great. new found love for Yoga . Thank You
Thank-you so very much, your video is exactly what I needed. In the 3rd exercise, should I be breathing out through my mouth? I am a brand-new beginner, learning to breathe, and am wondering when I should breath out through my nose vs my mouth.
***** Hi! Lauren here. For the side stretching exercises, it's ideal to continue using the first breathing technique (ujjayi breathing) introduced in the video. However, sometimes I exhale out of my mouth just because it helps me connect with my breathing (especially when I'm feeling super stressed out and forgetting to breathe!).
EXCELLENT. I ENJOY MY SESSION (MY FIRST TIME). I would suggest a more dynamic beginning (see toastmasters.org/video presentation tips). Lovely disposition and personality. You understands the concept of Yoga - I will follow your longer presentation. Thank you for this one. Sherida
I have anxiety attack 24/7. Not kidding. I can´t breathe and it´s purely psychosomatic. I feel strong pressure under my sternum. I feel pressure on my ribs and stomach, whole torso. It´s like something is crushing my ribs and with it crushing my lungs. Even slow walking is huge problem. And don´t get me start on staircases. Cause is my work. I am over stressed. ¨ I can´t bend down. I immediately start suffocate. Any yoga for that? Every activity is causing suffocating.
Hi Josephine, I am a breathwork instructor and I may be able to help you come back to optimal breathing and better manage your panic attacks. I've also been through it myself. I am completing a new breathing instructor program and need to practice with more than 50 people. If you like to try, here is my email info@wheelchi.com The session lasts about 2 hours, can be done on skype or zoom and there is no fixed cost. It's simply based on donation, according to what you can afford and how you feel after the breathing coaching...wishing you all the best
Just a suggestion, please learn to stay very calm, speak slowly and clearly as an instructor so people who need to calm themselves through this video would feel relaxed by watching your demo. It's not just about how to do it, it's also about your voice and the way you give your instruction. I like some videos from YOGATX. Thank you.
