Wow! I bought my first piano a Yamaha YDP- 144 and I'm really pleased with it.
Wonderful product. The sound is very realistic, it's simplistic to use and the interface is fairly user friendly. For a beginner like myself I enjoy the sound, the feel and the pushback of the keys which mimic a real grand piano.

I have been playing about four years. I have a P-125 and like it very much. Others who have been playing much longer than I have say that it is great instrument for the beginner/intermediate player.

Just bought it 2 days ago. My experience so far is being very positive and fun. Love the piano voices including the e-piano. The keys action is amazing, yet a bit slippery. The overall reaction is wow. For an entry-level piano, my thumb is UP.

Great full review ! I'm probably going to buy this piano because of it (I was previously going for the Casio privia PX360). I had totally forgotten about the Smart pianist app which is superb, I will be buying a cheap tablet or wait for android support (coming soon hopefully?). Thanks !
I'm finding Gabriel Aldort's reviews to be among the best. I'm getting a lot of information for finding out what kind of gig piano I can get for what I want to spend.
I purchased the P-125. It is beautiful. BUT, I would like consumers to be aware the recommended i-UX1 cable (to use the Smart Pianist app) which is recommended uses the outdated 30-pin technology. So, after purchasing I-UX1 for $79.99, I had to purchase an Apple lightning to 30-pin adapter. Also, the reviews state that Apple will soon be discontinuing this adapter. The 30-pin connection is 7-8 years old. YAMAHA - where is the updated cable? We are in the era of smart phones, ipads and lightning cables. This is my only frustration with the purchase.
Came here to peruse a digital piano, left feeling like I've accomplished nothing meaningful in my life; he took that skill deep.

Yup, AAC is proprietary, indeed. But, it's not owned by Apple. And, it's standardized.
Help needed! I purchased FMTINES and some other IPAD piano apps but I can’t seem to get the sound of the piano app to play when I hit the piano keys. It’s as if the iPad isn’t connected. There is no change in sound on the keyboard yet I can hear the iPad sounds through the piano speakers. Would there be a setting on the Yamaha P-125 to sync the iPad to the keyboard? Thanks in advance.
Did you make sure the keyboard is even connected to the ipad? Try on the google, you wont find answers on youtube as this is an old video. Good luck
Nice features.Better yet how about some favorites buttons(presets,registrations) ala Kawai es110 and Korg g1 air.Also,give us some eq options to shape our sound . Lastly,7 watts per side is hardly enough. Still, a nice balance of features and price to vie with the fp30 and the es 110.
I made a layered sound of Piano and EP that I really like, and I wanted to play left hand walking bass with that and it doesn’t seem to be able to do that!! Lame!! Am I wrong?

Yes it comes with power supply.
The only keyboard with definable split point that sends on two MIDI channels and three pedal support with half-damping. If it had DIN MIDI out, a pitch/mod wheel and 8 knobs, it’d be perfect.
Does Yamaha p115 has the rhythm bass accompaniment feature like p125?

Anyone who has one confirm if the keys cause fingers to slip. I have an older plastic key yamaha but keys can be slippery at times.
It will not sound like that when u get it. Please note the video shows the piano hooked to external speakers

Really amazing and exciting improvement for its price. Great Demo. Hope the Android version comes out soon. One (unrelated and minor) error is at 22:58 it says that AAC is Apple proprietary. It is an open standard. Look up AAC on wikipedia

Please do Demo with P45B digital piano. Gotta but this one due to budgetary issues.
The Yamaha P45 has 10 sounds, 64-note polyphony, has the same key system as the Yamaha P125 (GHS), of course, the sound of the P125 has more detail, but the sound of the P45 is also good, it would be good if you try the piano in a store

Guess you can control the speed of the rotary with the sustain pedal, in the Jazz sound! It's pretty awesome
