As someone who’s just getting into sims in a semi-serious way, all I can say is I am absolutely speechless at the setup you’ve got going here! Good on you!
Yeah, Prop's to the Prop's But with a VR Headset you can accomplish a more real simulation for a lot less. Me with my old Microsoft Force Feedback Wheel and a VR Headset, I actually get motion sickness if I spin out. I'm using a Kart simulation called "Kartkraft VR" Tough for a molded simulator to compete with that. ;)
@@swiftmusicent Hate? What, because I have a different opinion than you? The resolution comparison is not even an issue when you compare $3k-$5k to a few hundred dollars for a quest 2. I'm sorry if you feel butt hurt for wasting all that money.
@@nasanction This sim is superior to current vr but the question for anyone looking to get into this stuff would be is the difference in price worth the improvements. For normal people I’d say no, but for someone with a channel making videos of the best of the best, this was obviously the right choice.
Now the amount of work and research you’re putting into these videos finding the best quality from a viewers perspective is insane. Something cool I’d think would be an eye tracking system so we can see where you’re looking when tackling the course. Not saying it’s required by any means. This was amazing. I honestly keep thinking you’re really driving the car and not a sim
I was trying to work out why this looks exactly how I imagined it to, and then I realised this is what it looks like with a heads up display when you play normally with screen capture - except with you, all the dash and your arms is REAL!! This looks sick man!!
The clarity and overall quality is just insane with this setup. I love my Pimax VR rig, but man I’d love this level of resolution/detail. Great job with it.
Just wait for the next generation of vr headsets, being announced this month. I'm sure, we'll get - at least almost - retina resolution displays soon :)
@@balticDub The only thing with retina resolution VR headsets is that we'll be two generations of GPU's and CPU's away from running those without hiccups.
@@eemuman605 Exactly. With the RTX3080 Ive only just now got my VR to the point where there is an absolute rock solid frame time & frame rate with zero spikes, playing at ultra settings. And thats not even 4K res.
@@willielast What games are you playing I tried PC2 on my Quest 2 with RTX3080 and while inside the cockpit everything looks very sharp and clear, pretty much everything outside the windshield looks blurry no matter what settings I use. I haven't tried other sims yet so hope it's just poor VR optimization of PC2.
@@DjWr00m I dont play it, but from what I remember PC2 is pretty good in VR. I dont have a Quest 2 but I assume you play it tethered (or 5 Ghz Wireless) at its Native Resolution? I play AMS2 (same engine as PC2), Rf2, RRE. You have to adjust your expectations, it wont be the same as playing 4K on flat panel. But I wouldnt say its blurry. I always add supersampling (1.4 on AMS2) pretty sure you can do the same on PC2.
When scrolling through the comments I get the feeling that everything has already been said. I repeat, your footage is just “amazing”! You’re setting a new benchmark among sim racing TH-camrs, never seen such real live like sim racing video.

Theres alot to love about AMS2, the graphics, ffb, single player experience, great VR and triple screen support...but what lets me down the most is the car audio. I really hope they shift some focus to improving this in the future. We are very spoilt for epic sound mods in AC, and the great vanilla ACC sound engine. It makes it tough to adjust coming across to AMS2 after being immersed in such high level audio
Wow will you can see so much better now with the new camera position it really feels like your in the car and the roll cage looks so life like as well just adds to the immersion good job

The first domestic sim I've seen which looks photo realistic and I've been gaming since games were invented. What an achievement congratulations. The thought that you can load up any racing game or flight sim on this gives me goose bumps. Amazing.
I didn't know what kinda video this was, i pressed in the middle and started watching from like 6 min. It took me all the way to like 14 mins before i realized the only thing i can see that is real is the wheel....Looks unbelievable! I legit thought he was sitting in a car that he remade into a rig!

Hey bro , my last 2 videos are with GoPro 10 and I shut 5.3k and post in 4k which makes huge difference particularly for the noice of the camera wen you downscale! Max ISO 200 and horizontal OFF to help the sensor to maximize the quality! I’m amazed how good this camera looks ! You are growing like crazy by the way 💪 Already 150k bro ❤️

looks great! I am trying similar with the Gopro9 on the headmount strap, mine sits slightly higher so I am amazed that you can se under the camera that low but seems to work great. what seems to make yours SUPER realistic is the monitor size. yours are so large compared to my 27's so with your wide angle set on the camera means your are always seeing screen. Looks awesome!!
The new camera is absolutely killing it - awesome work for continuing to raise the bar for this setup and our entertainment! 💯 Couldn’t help but notice the lower frame rate of the side camera vs the GP10 but it’s just one of those tiny little things that I like to point out all in all 😅 And yes, I edited that entire second section because it’s not a problem, just an observation
Yeah the side camera is still limited to 30FPS unfortunately. Hard to find much that does 4K 60 that isn’t thousands of dollars and still has decent depth of field and low light performance.

Awesome job guys, the light coming off of the cage was throwing me off. On my phone it looked like you were really there, is the cage part of the game.
I just came across this on my feed. Can I come over for a game? 😂 what a rush. Power braking will make you faster through some of those curves without losing much speed. Set yourself up for better lines and get on throttle, brakes and gear shifts up and down quicker. On the slower parts, it’s best to know what you max kph is and set your self up for that in each turn. I love racing games you got me too excited. ✌🏻
I bought a Hero 10 only a few weeks ago too for exactly this purpose! :) Aside from not being able to change the lens (FOV), resolution or fps when using it wirelessly it's great! :)
Can’t wait to see what you come up with in your new setup mate. Yeah it’s a big jump up from the action cams we’ve used before. Can finally actually operate the menus from the screen without lag too. The 9 was horrendously awful to use. Pretty sure I’m able to change the resolution and fps from the app though?
@@boostedmedia yeah I'm looking forward to getting some videos produced! :) The wireless streaming function locks you to 1080p, 60fps, wide, been this way since they introduced wireless streaming... unless there's an update in the last week that I've not yet done that changes this?
Oh right. Haven’t experimented with wireless streaming. I thought you were referring to the Quik app locking out settings. I just use the media mod and a micro HDMI if I need a live feed.
It’s almost hard to tell what is Will’s cockpit and which part is the screens. Very cool!

Great video. The graphics are spectacular. I'm loving AMS 2 particularly the Porsche 911 RSR - 19 GTE.

Yep. Different mic now and dropped the level so it still has that slight effect and sounds realistic but isn’t overpowering. Glad you noticed :)
