as an american retired navy chief, I am in awe of this ship. She pulled in to the place I was stationed in 2003. My ship hosted their midshipmen. She is oficially the most beautiful ship in the world
Love this ship I've seen her often in Venice where I live. May I respectfully suggest a revision of the ship's beautiful motto. It is better translated as "Not who begins, but who perseveres" (persevera means persevere). Thanks for a lovely visit aboard!
Amerigo Vespuci first landed in what is now Venezuela. He traveled to Cuba but I dont know if he ever stepped foot on what you consider mainland N America. America, the continent, was named after him, not the United States of America as many people claim.
Just visited today in Los Angeles Port. Incredible experience, the Crew was professional and attentive. The Amerigo Vespucci is a piece of history you can actually touch.

When the Ameriigo Vespucci ship was in San Pedro, the people in charge should have had a VR component available for those of us that weren't allowed on the ship because we are in wheelchairs. That would have made the trip out to see the ship almost worth it. If they come out to the states again, that's what they should do.

She really is the most beautiful ship in the world
Beautiful amazing
Thanks a lot
I always liked how it was designed to resemble a large ship of the line from Lord Nelson`s time. The word 'beautiful' hardly does it justice!
Big ship. Tallship training is still the best training.
Good choice on the DSP music.
The name America is derived from that of the Italian navigator Amerigo Vespucci, who may have visited the mainland of North America in 1497 and 1498.
