He missed the fact that the Bose System in this car pipes fake exhaust note into the cabin. You can’t turn it off in the defaults, without visiting a Nissan dealer and paying them. Unless you cut a (RPM input) wire in the harness yourself to disable it. Cruising at low speed it’s fine but when you put your foot down you can tell it’s there. It’s a noisy car already so leave the active noise cancelling on and just disable the fake engine sound. I bought a JVC head unit (with CD USB and Bluetooth) and kept the speakers and Subs. No fake car sounds Nissan!

Only way I play music on my 2015 370 is with my phone and audio jack. Only way to make it sound amazing.

Also, I know this car pumps in fake exhaust noise through the speakers. Would disabling this feature improve music quality?

Yes, actually it has two 5.25" subs
@@juachycama they do, but if you had 2 DJ speakers or tower speakers with an 8” Bass driver , 6.5” mid and 1” tweeter you wouldn’t say u got 6 speakers. U have 2 speakers with 6 individual drivers. Any Infiniti with a Bose system from 2004+ advertises the subwoofer as 1 speaker regardless of how many drivers/speakers are in the enclosure when using the spare tire as a sub, the G37 has 2 individual 6x9” subwoofers in the rear deck. Completely separate about 20” apart. They are counted separately
