    I still love the 370z. Yeah, they're pretty outdated (mainly interior wise) but the engine with a manual is so much fun and the new Nismo looks soo good. I can't attest too much about the driving characteristics of the z but I own a g37 sedan and with aftermarket sways, the car drives amazingly well. Just wish the g also had the active rev matching. It would've been a nice feature to play with.

      I dpmt understand why people are calling it old and outdated. How is this nisno on the snow does it ride pretty smooth through snow or does rwd rear wheel drive get caught or stuck in snow

    • @ctng37
      @ctng37 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@leonelbarra-alvarez8424 The reason I say it's outdated is mainly the interior with the infotainment system. It was an okay system back in 2009 when it first came out but the fact that you get 2009 tech in a 2020 car was its downfall imo. I think the main argument for the car being old is that the engine and transmission is something out of 2009 where newer cars tend to use direct injection and some sort of forced induction. Don't get me wrong, I love the VQ in this car, but some people may see it as a negative. However, the new Nissan Z does seem like it will solve those issues. I am very excited about the new Z.
      In terms of snow performance, I barely have any experience but rwd would be more difficult to drive for the average person because oversteer is generally more difficult to control than understeer. I'm sure that with proper snow tires and a competent driver, they won't have issues but for the everyday driver, it may be more difficult.

    While Nissan/Infiniti don’t really have a car that goes up against. The German M, AMG, and RS models, their cars are pure fun and do cater to the enthusiast in you.
    Excellent exhaust and engine sounds, high revving engines, crisp Bose sound systems, reasonable maintenance costs, STRONG aftermarket support.
    They make great daily drivers, for the street racing enthusiast, and provide year-round satisfaction for those that truly love to drive.
    That being said, I’m about to hop in my Infiniti for a little Sunday cruise, now, myself. ✌🏾

As a sports car it's so much better than anything modern with the hydraulic steering, the manual gearbox, the real handbrake, the real gauges not screen crap, the lack of refinement and noise insulation. Everyone nowadays forgets about manual transmissions, hydraulic steering, engine noise, exhaust noise, and vibration - the things us car enthusiasts love. No one buys a 370z to drag. Nissan and Infiniti never ever change that stuff. I worked at Nissan and I promise you guys every car has been the same for years really. I mean the Armada, Q50, Q60, Maxima, 370z, and a few others have had the same system for years. A few cars get updates every now and then but it's mostly only when the cars themselves have a pretty noticeable update.

Amazing seating position aswell and makes a lot of torque for what it is..Could use another 15hp for the top end power but low end and mid-range is strong..and that 15hp can easily be achieved buy one of the many tunes they make for these cars ..I drove the automatic tho so I can't speak on the manual .I'm sure it's just as fun if not more shifting the gears yourself and the instant throttle response even tho people say these are actually faster in the auto

    • @VolvosandHondas
      @VolvosandHondas 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Major Mayhem we must have driven very different cars, in my experience both the 350z and the 370 suffer from lifeless steering. Its tight but artificially so, it doesnt communicate the road nearly as well as its competitors. But again, it isnt meant to. Its for all intents and purposes a japanese mustang, not a worthy rival of the miata or a 86. Too heavy. Understeers like a pig and that cheap feeling interior translates in to the entire driving experience, everything about it feels halfway complete (once again, a 6 tenths car) Its a real shame too because nissan used to be really good about making playful chassis’. These days they develop a decent engine and cobble the rest of the car together with scraps.
      For what its worth though i love the vq35 to death (not so much the 37 for reasons i cant quantify, namely sound) I daily drove an altima with one for years and it refused to die. Sold it with 280k miles on the clock. Then again, it was designed in a much better time for nissan... even then though the build quality was miserable, and its only become worse with time.

The bonuses for me going from a Sport Z to the NISMO is that I can use the Bluetooth for music streaming in addition to answering calls. Aside from that, I don't use the navigation in it.
    If you want a no-nonsense, driver-focused car, this is it for you. I do agree it's priced a little too high brand new (I got mine brand new with the help of insurance, so it was justifiable), but NISMO Zs are a great performance bargain in the used market.

      @@simonriley983 True, but some people don't want or need a lot of modern tech. I personally don't even use Apple CarPlay even though I have it. All it does it let me use Apple Music and Google Maps. It won't let me read my texts or Whatsapp, and I'm not going to bother figuring out why it won't. It's just not all that important to me, since I don't make many long trips. If I'm only driving 15-20 minutes, all that shit can wait till I get home. Plus when you're old not many people message you anyway lol.

      @@80s_Boombox_Collector you shouldn't be defending nissan's interior here. Saying the Z's interior is acceptable because cars from 25ish years ago have ugly interiors makes zero sense. You make a point about some people don't care for crazy tech, BUT that does not excuse the Z's interior for being so god damn ugly. Its not ugly bc its missing giant screens. Its just ugly and the design makes the car look super dated.
