This is absolutely the best recorded set of Sierra Ferrel so far on the internet. Her voice was perfectly mixed and present. This group is simply intoxicating and I can't get enough of their music. Kudos to the mandolin player who was outstanding. And Josi, besides being an incredibly talented fiddle player, has the most expressive and beautiful eyes I've ever seen - hands down. Sierra Ferrel is a star and it won't be long before the crowds get a lot bigger.
Been following her for a year. Her performances just keep getting tighter, and decent engineering really bring it out. She’s on the cusp of bigger things, like when I first heard Emmylou in ‘74.
The fiddler sings incredibly wonderful harmony as well (backup vocals could have been mixed up just a hair more, but that's just a subjective thing). Sierra ought to meet up with Charli Roberston one day and record a couple of duets ... And Jesus saves and L-Lysine keeps you safe from viruses ...
I laughed pretty hard as I'm sitting here watching this, with my jaw still basically on the floor at that first song, to see the camera reveal a crowd of about 3 dozen folks if I'm being generous 😂 didn't slow down her energy one bit, the band still played their hearts out to all those lucky early birds, this set blew me away! Anyone who wasn't already a fan of Sierra's had to have left as one ✌️
I've said it before but I'll say it again. She's not just a fabulous singer songwriter guitaratrix, she's an entertainer. AND cuter than a speckled pup.
Bohemian bluegrass country cowgirl.........Sierra has got to be one of the freshest voices out there- working her ass off I might add! Whatever style song she writes and performs becomes a magical piece of beautiful art!
She's incredible, truly. Her timing is perfect, her voice is hypnotic, angelic...and she seems absolutely genuine. I can't believe virtually nobody is there.
It is taking a while to dethrone clear channel radio and construct thinking and habits from the. masses. Unfortunately, this forum has made leanings award from what it was founded on, that being the freedom of artists to get themselves out there for us to know their art. However, this is here and I am very proud the radio stations are posting and festivals are showing them off etc....to keep them from us is like withholding pain medicine with a severed body part. literally. Thank you WXPN so we can catch this light of an artist in a dark world from everywhere!
00:01 Bells Of Every Chapel 03:57 Give It Time 07:25 West Virginia Waltz 12:45 In Dreams 16:26 Why Haven't You Loved Me Yet 19:24 Silver Dollar 23:00 Whispering Waltz 27:22 The Sea 31:57 At The End Of The Rainbow 36:44 Jeremiah.
She’s magical, I could listen to her sing all day long. And I just love the wonderful music of this talented group. That fiddle player is pretty damn good
What a gift. Every one of her live performances have so much more character than the studio recording. Some of those solos from the band here are just incredible.
@Gerardo Dibbert If you like Sierra and her group, and her music, support her and buy her music. She is kind enough to allow her live performances to be recorded and put on YT. Thank you Sierra for us folk that can't get to your shows.
OHHHH MYYYYY STARRRRRSSSS!!!!! This precious babydoll seems to be unaware and (even more beautifully respected) unconcerned about anything but the music!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVE THIS!!!! ANNNND ... she seems to HAVE NO CLUE about HOW EXTRAORDINARILY, EXQUISITELY HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE of a talent she is❗❗❗❗❗❗ OH MY GOD... 💥I 💥AM💥FLOORED❗💥💥💥💥💥💥 🎶♥️🎶♥️🎶♥️🎶♥️🎶♥️🎶
Why is it that this sorta of music isn't at the top of the fricken charts? It's almost like what makes it to the National charts isn't organic at all. Heil to these amazing artists!
Thank you God and the universe for creating such a sweet serenade Sierrah. It's been a long time coming to hear the sounds that soothes the soul of every northern tree as the rain glistens here in the backround. Keep soarin' and rise above all. We'll have good and bad days ahead but in the end we'll conquer all. Just give it time.
To me , she is simply, the best. An unparalleled voice and delivery. What a wonderful band that is as well. Notice the smile on the bass players face..just enjoying the music like us.
ABSOLUTE MAGIC. Shes impossible to ignore. The first time i heard sierra ferrell perform i just knew we had a massive star on our hands. 100% top notch. Ive enjoyed the excellent voices and music of laura cantrell and gillian Welch over the years and then found the music of Sierra ferrell. I love the purity of the voices of these three fantastic strong women. Love from huddersfield xxx
I think this may have been in the Covid era. Everyone had mask so it was a virtual concert and they may have had to limit the audience size. Amazing voice and talent!
Just saw her @ Freshgrass in September, 2022. My new favorite vocalist. Can't get enough of her music. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful intrumentation, absolutely amazing vocals...can't wait to see her again!
She is phenomenal! What a great set. Great band and credit to the Front of house engineer. I think her voice would cut through in any in environment she is in. 👌🏼
Absolutely Incredible musicianship and song writing. The more I listen to your songs the deeper they go into my heart. There's humanity, frailty, strength, and adventure in this world you're creating. I can only say I feel a welcome guest and will always be a frequent visitor. My best to all of you.
The talent and obvious chemistry of the whole band is the perfect counterpart to Sierra's magnificent voice. Combined with terrific songs, I can't understand why Sierra hasn't blown up.
Plenty other like her the masses have never heard of...Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Larkin Poe, Sarah jarosz, Sierra Hull (like to see the Sierras throw in together some time, but i digress) to name a few.......
She has blown up. She's not more popular because she isn't branded with a corporate logo. She's authentic and for that to be appreciated takes time. Ego defenses have to come down first. She's a threat to sad and fake people.
just a voice as smooth as butter. she sounds like an old timey record live it’s astounding. i would love to see her live, especially in such a small crowd like these folks! lucky ducks
Sierra is a special talent, and I'm happy I have lived long enough to have had the pleasure of seeing her perform. I bought her new CD and it is a beautiful reflection of her talent.
It's been great to see a succession of really good musicians gel with her through playing live and become so much more than just the sum of their parts. First Nate Leath, then Audrey MacAlpine further filled out the sound. I was disappointed when they left, but DANG, she gets three more great players! And her co-writer Oliver Bates Craven does a great job filling in for Josh Rilko.
Been following her music videos for awhile now not knowing how many people love this music from yesteryear... thought it was only a handful of folks. She's so damn talented and cute as a button as they say. Voices like hers only come around in a lifetime! Thank you Sierra!!!
I just heard about Sierra Ferrell. Dan Auerbach has produced a John Anderson Greatest Hits Tribute album, she is on it and they released a video a few days ago, that's why I'm here. She can Sing, write, and play. The whole package. If we're lucky, she'll be around for a while. There's an old song by George Jones Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes. People like her, Sturgill Simpson, Billy Strings, Cody Jinks, and countless other independents who refuse to sing the new country lame ass pop music on the airways.
Fantastic and wonderful!!! I came across you two days ago and have not stopped searching and listening and I most likely never will stop, I'm hooked. Miss Ferrell, I wish you all of the very best and hope to see your career skyrocket. You are a true and unique talent and I am sure that you will simply knock out the Brits when you perform your wonderful music in the UK. May all of the good things in this world find your front door and may the road rise up to meet you.
Sierra's voice! Such a great show here. So good that I even caught the bass player almost crack a smile a couple of times. Thanks to WXPN for recording it well and sharing it here.
This came up the TH-cam rabbit hole from TN to the island in Scotland. 21.15 on Sat 30 10. She's brilliant! Fabulous voice. Great hat...The President of the USA is meanwhile in Edinburgh...
I just love the effortless belting of the lyrics at the end of Bells of Every Chapel after the great instrumentals. Can not wait to see Sierra in London in June!!
Right....on....the.....money!!! What a sound. Every single time I hear her she gets better. I love the power and clarity to her voice and the mix of this. Whoever mixed the sound did it perfectly. I would have loved to have been there!
I love how it all evolves and changes. The songs, still great, and the voice, as always, and then variations. You know too, that You Tube thinks that if I like Sierra, I may also like some guy named Bob Dylan and this fella called James Taylor. I don't know, maybe I'll have to check em out.
Well I can’t remember what I was looking for prior to stumbling on this , but this band is great and I had to stay and listen to all of it. The voice is butter and the fiddler is top notch. I could go on and on. Oh wait, I already have !
Thank you for having me!
Our absolute pleasure!

What part of West Virginia are you from originally? We love it!
Live in London U.K. And your amazing hope I get to see you live soon 👌fresh and original
Josie Toney, man shes amazing
This is absolutely the best recorded set of Sierra Ferrel so far on the internet. Her voice was perfectly mixed and present. This group is simply intoxicating and I can't get enough of their music. Kudos to the mandolin player who was outstanding. And Josi, besides being an incredibly talented fiddle player, has the most expressive and beautiful eyes I've ever seen - hands down. Sierra Ferrel is a star and it won't be long before the crowds get a lot bigger.
Mix stands out indeed. Very fluid and articulated.
Very well said. I hope though that the crowd never gets bigger than the artist. For results of this please see Elvis the Beatles and others. Thanks
Agree 100% this is the best recorded set three thumbs up on this one. My wife and have listened to it at least 5-6 times
And Jesus saves and L-Lysine keeps you safe from viruses ...
seems nearly impossible not to fall in love once you hear sierra sing a song
Absolutely! From the first note out of her, it's pure love 😍
I think I've got a Sierraous problem. This is like the fourth time I am listening to this concert today ...
I'm somewhat obsessed too... If I'm not watching her or listening to her, I am humming her songs in my head (maybe out loud too!). LOVE.
i cant believe what Im hearing. Imma newbie to her but hooked instantly.
Big fan! What a talent.
Love her music!
To be fair, that's 3 dozen more people than alot of others get.
I've not heard talent such as this since Loretta Lynn or Patsy Cline...wow
Her voice reminds me of Hank
My exact thoughts. Straight patsy incarnate. Seems authentic as well.
I'm saying Stevie Nicks talent. This young lady has some super power!
Please release this on VYNIL! My old Tube Tech Phonograph players NEED this!
She's doing it the old fashioned way.
She's earning it...
Love this. They all sell their souls. Hope she doesn't.
I've said it before but I'll say it again. She's not just a fabulous singer songwriter guitaratrix, she's an entertainer. AND cuter than a speckled pup.
Her voice can make even the most stubborn and hardened men shed a tear. My god, what a beautiful gift this band is giving to the world.
Bohemian bluegrass country cowgirl.........Sierra has got to be one of the freshest voices out there- working her ass off I might add! Whatever style song she writes and performs becomes a magical piece of beautiful art!
I refer to it as folk country gypsy jazz.
Call it what you will- it’s simply the real deal ❤🤠 Peacenlovenlight ,
cousinAdam
Interesting...I call her the best Cowboy Country Bluegrass act on the planet.
She's incredible, truly. Her timing is perfect, her voice is hypnotic, angelic...and she seems absolutely genuine. I can't believe virtually nobody is there.
IKR? that's some beautiful sound coming from a back room somewhere.
Judging by all the masks, this was mid scamdemic.
Why are there only 20ish people in the crowd? Sierra deserves a much bigger audience than this.
I don’t know why she isn’t a big name, she sings with so much ease and a big sound for a small band… she’s multi talented!
It is taking a while to dethrone clear channel radio and construct thinking and habits from the. masses. Unfortunately, this forum has made leanings award from what it was founded on, that being the freedom of artists to get themselves out there for us to know their art. Thank you WXPN so we can catch this light of an artist in a dark world from everywhere!
That voice! Patsy, Tammy, Loretta, Jennie C Riley, Dolly.....now Sierra.
Loretta for sure with June Carter Cash gusto
I'm loving Josie's addition to the group. her new harmonies and solos were stunning. I swear smoke was wafting from her bow:)
we can hear those harmonies start up any time we strike a key or pluck a string. We wish we had a voice like that. 🌈❤️🩹💗
Josie's harmony singing! And at the end of West Virginia Waltz, triumphant!
Josie's a frickin maestro! (maestra?)
My wife and are so glad we found these jewels! Sierra is a monster talent.
00:01 Bells Of Every Chapel
03:57 Give It Time
07:25 West Virginia Waltz
12:45 In Dreams
16:26 Why Haven't You Loved Me Yet
19:24 Silver Dollar
23:00 Whispering Waltz
27:22 The Sea
31:57 At The End Of The Rainbow
36:44 Jeremiah.
Classic set list.
once in a generation voice, hands down !
This was recorded so well it sounds like a studio. Kudos to the sound team and great performance by the Great Sierra and fellow musicians.
There's a quality about Sierra and her band mates that makes one long to be counted among their closest friends.
Couldn’t agree more!
They're organic...or a better term for their style and appeal, homegrown.
She’s magical, I could listen to her sing all day long. And I just love the wonderful music of this talented group. That fiddle player is pretty damn good
I want her to become big, but mainstream will ruin her like they've done to others, just stay real, don't forget your roots & the ones who love you
Sierra is real. The singer is a person. Good country . Great team 🎶🎶🎶
Sierra, I are the personification of real country. Thanks for bringing your guitar to u tube. We are so lucky to have u
This old man is a huge fan of this little lady and her old fashioned voice….keep em coming sweet lady….Sounds awesome love from Canada!
Musicianship here, is excellent ... and THAT, from a guitarist of 60 years ...
What a gift. Every one of her live performances have so much more character than the studio recording. Some of those solos from the band here are just incredible.
The album is great. The live performance is better because she's a PERSON not a package. She is an artist, not the art.
@Gerardo Dibbert If you like Sierra and her group, and her music, support her and buy her music. She is kind enough to allow her live performances to be recorded and put on YT. Thank you Sierra for us folk that can't get to your shows.
She looks hot. She ever show off her body?
@@Cosmo-Kramer shut up.
@@richardpentelow655 Look everyone, it's the Censorship Police! LOL What a maroon!
IMO country music's best new female artist and best new overall Country talent since Tyler Childers.
Absolutely Love Sierra's voice. I listen to mostly Metal, but now I'm hooked on this music. Her voice sound's like stepping back in time. LOVE IT
Love the song “Give it Time!!”
OHHHH MYYYYY STARRRRRSSSS!!!!!
This precious babydoll seems to be unaware and (even more beautifully respected) unconcerned about anything but the music!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVE THIS!!!! ANNNND ... she seems to HAVE NO CLUE about HOW EXTRAORDINARILY, EXQUISITELY HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE of a talent she is❗❗❗❗❗❗
OH MY GOD...

Just give it time.
Josie's fiddle on "West Virginia Waltz" is so sweet, and has a decidedly Bob Wills feel to it. Much thanks to WXPN and Public Radio.
Our pleasure!!
And on "The Sea," it sounds like Sven Asmussen took a break from playing with Jango for a set in Nasvhille. What a stunning player!
This song takes me to a place that I can't get to very often. In a cabin up on some mountain peak that I only see in my dreams
To me , she is simply, the best. An unparalleled voice and delivery. What a wonderful band that is as well. Notice the smile on the bass players face..just enjoying the music like us.
Sierra’s ability to entertain and give her all in so many venues perfectly every time in so many cities is almost supernatural!
Fiddle is on fire again, constant dream.
too good. The girl on the fiddle is amazing
Those folks were super lucky to see that performance.
Listening to Sierra sing is one of my new most pleasurable pastimes. She's absolutely on fire here - and the band are cooking!
20 people in the crowd. So excited to see her in a few weeks. Amazing voice and songwriting! love you Sierra
I think this may have been in the Covid era. Everyone had mask so it was a virtual concert and they may have had to limit the audience size. Amazing voice and talent!
this is insane. cold chills. I saw her live a week ago and have thought of nothing else since
Just saw her @ Freshgrass in September, 2022.
What incredible talent- Sierra and the other musicians. Outstanding and astounding!
Beautiful set, and it's lovely how they play for this small crowd just as if they were playing to a giant stadium of people. A true star.
Absolutely Incredible musicianship and song writing. The more I listen to your songs the deeper they go into my heart. There's humanity, frailty, strength, and adventure in this world you're creating. I can only say I feel a welcome guest and will always be a frequent visitor.
My best to all of you.
Words fail me ... what a powerhouse she is and that band! Sierra Ferrell ia already in my hall of fame!
I am completely addicted to Sierra's songs. I bought Long Time Coming on vinyl a few days ago from her website, and can't wait to sit down and listen.
She's a threat to sad and fake people.
just a voice as smooth as butter. she sounds like an old timey record live it’s astounding. i would love to see her live, especially in such a small crowd like these folks! lucky ducks
Seems like they have no clue!
So happy that my daughter introduced me to your music. Absolutely love it! Can't wait to see you live in concert! ❤❤❤
that is quite the set for such a small room of people- what a lucky bunch. just incredible
I declare that just soothes my weary soul.
Sierra is a really good guitar player!
Bring it on home kiddo. Extremely pleasing. Could listen nonstop and sometimes I do.
Tears in my eyes from hearing such awesome tunes😅
Sierra is a special talent, and I'm happy I have lived long enough to have had the pleasure of seeing her perform. I bought her new CD and it is a beautiful reflection of her talent.
I love how she comments on a lot of her live videos
Been a big fan of Sierra for a while, but with this band, near perfection. Great Mando, Fiddle, Bass. What a great performance.
Couldn't agree more!

She kinda reminds me of a young June Carter.🥰
Yes me too a cross between June and Loretta with the grit of Iris !!!

This version of Bells of Every Chapel is so damn good
A pure joy from first to last note,,,,,,,,and the voice.....oh my god the voice ! Thank you x
Her voice and choice of melody is exquisite. 🖖
so so good...bravo the band are absolutely amazing and Sierra killed it as always.
Oliver & Josie are so talented. Sierra is magic.
Best live set! Sierra Ferrever
classic country and classic country artist
Our pleasure!
She and they are spectacular.
She is the most beautifull😁
How can you not help but love this beautiful young lady ?
Sierra, you are a terrific vocalist and stage personality, but I must add that you are quite an accomplished guitarist to boot!
She's gotten so much better with this tour, damn she's good
That bluesy version of West Virginia Waltz--amazing.
So glad I found this, Sierras voice is absolutely amazing, the band aren’t to shabby either.
How this woman holds her head up is something special.
Nicely put. It’s true. So confident. A great band leader.
I could listen to this all day, every day
A top performance of her otherworldly talent!
A fav vid.
BUT !!you have to hear that voice live
Moving. Take hankies.
This is just too darn good! 11:00 AM is a terrible time slot with not many people, but what a great recording time. Her best yet!
Man! I like this lineup! I wish I could have been one of the people in that tiny crowd. I have so much love for this💪
This may be her best set yet on YT. Thanks for the great music!
I really love her so much. This is just the beginning. So looking forward to listen to more.
Much love from Canada. As good as Patsy Cline. No lie.
My god, she's is really really good!
I hadn't heard of Sierra Ferrell until today. Wow! I think that I'm in love 😁
Right....on....the.....money!!! What a sound. Every single time I hear her she gets better. I love the power and clarity to her voice and the mix of this. Whoever mixed the sound did it perfectly. I would have loved to have been there!
I thought the Mando should've been louder.
If anyone deserves mainstream success, Sierra does. I think she can pull it off without too much compromise.
I love the West Virginia Waltz, such a well written song. The timing is stunning.
You are great. The voice is so real. Perfect pitch and your band is tied in. I’m a fan
