I could rewatch this movie and this scene in particular, over and over again. I've loved Anne of Green Gables, and Anne of Avonlea ever since I first watched them during a PBS telethon, way back when they first came out. I wasn't a huge fan of the 3rd movie though, but atleast it moves Anne and Gil's story along. I've also read most of the books. I really loved Road to Avonlea. Back when yoy needed a subscription, i had my Dad get it, just so i could watch that show. I absolutely fell in love with the newer Anne with an E. I was very sad when it was suddenly canceled. Anne and Gilbert were true kindred spirits. I'm so glad they got together in the end. Thank You for posting this. Watching it brought a smile to my face and made me realize just how much I love these movies. I wish they would continue the story, however I do know the actor who played Gilbert passed away some time ago. I was very sad to hear about it. They just don't make movies like this anymore. But I wish they did.❤
Man, you destroyed any credibility you had when you said you loved "Anne with an E." That show was an abomination. And I'm sure Lucy Maude Montgomery was spinning in her grave like a particle collider when it came out.
