Hell yeah! I just ordered everything in your description! Not totally sure how all the hoses hook together.... I wish you did more of an install video rather than a review, but I liked the video enough to make the purchase ha! Hopefully when it comes in it all makes sense!
It will make sense but you will have to cut and install the quick connects on the blue line from the touch assembly and the short red line on the adapter both go to the cooler. Thanks for the input and I'll try to remember to at least show how I hooked things up next time!
Okay at 3:34 you said aluminum aluminum: has to be welded on AC current not DC (And your Vulcan only puts out DC so how are you welding aluminum?) (good welds mind you) not some I'm halfway surprised that you put that on there I'm not asking to be a butt head I'm asking because I don't know I'm just wording it weird because maybe a misunderstanding
This is the protig 200 that does both AC and DC and it was discontinued a couple of years ago. And it took me a bit to get the settings figured out for the new torch assembly
I am still learning but could show how you connected the lines.

Pardon my ignorance, but where's the water coming from?
There's a separate cooler for the system
@@toyshopfab thank you!
Very nice, always cool to make things better and or upgrade tool to make jobs easier and better.
I have played with the settings a little bit and probably blew through half a tank of Aaron and the torch didn't get hot. Definitely a great upgrade!
Looks like you have a contamination problem with the water cooled torch, check your connections, and check for cross contamination.
There was, I double checked everything and made sure it was clean then made a couple of adjustments and now it welds pretty good!
Looks like you had the manual gas valve on the torch head turned off…
You should be using the number five standard cup stubby
That's currently what's on it now

Actually in Aerospace and Defense Industry DCEN (DC Straight Polarity) is used more often for Class A Welding which uses Helium (UHP) for shielding.
The ProTig 200 and the later ProTig 205 both are AC-DC welders. The Vulcan 170 is DC only. I have been running my ProTig 200 for the past 7 years.
I have CK worldwide ck200 rigid torch head up for sale for a good price...
Appreciate the offer, but I'm good. Thanks
