My dog won't do the lemon juice. However, she will do the honey. When I have something like this to give her, I just put it in her empty food bowl and she licks it right up.

3 wks ago my gigantic mastador and I moved from Oregon. He began that hacking cough right before we left. We've stopped over in AZ and a few hundred $$ later from an AZ vet visit, he is still hacking. I found your video and bought the honey, green tea, and a turkey baster. Well, all I can say is thank you; we are both getting some sleep now!!! Subscribed!!!
I can't believe it. Last night I was awake dealing with the pain of a broken tooth. I had ran out of Advil and did not want to deal with snowy roads. Finally, I used this combination with less water and put it on the tooth. Woke up pain free!!

I got onto a Manuka honey & lemon mix which my dog eats off the spoon. She's a puggie x and it's really difficult to get medicine down her which she doesn't want. The vet recommended the commercial cough mix when she had something like kennel cough although vaccinated against parvk virus. It was to be given by syringe either in her mouth or in her food. Well we had cough mix all over the kitchen cupboards and food not eaten even if mixed with salmon which she loves. I went the lemon & honey root as it works for humans and the Manuka honey has special healing qualities. There has been quite a bit of research on this in New Zealand. Thanks for your advice, doctor.

Since moving I try to avoid the vet here, way way too expensive! And I haven't used that stuff for years, I'm all in on Homeopathy. So very glad to have this as an option, just in case! You're such a blessing, thank you for all you do!🙏
I put 1tsp honey in the cats can foods they hate lemon juice! Cats are more picky than dogs. I bought natural cat syrup with Eldenberry!

A few years ago I saw one of your videos where you talked about L-lysine so I went and bought it and gave it to my cats because they were having a cough which disappeared a day or two after giving them the pills and then whenever I hear a sniffle or cough I grind one up their cat food and whatever would go away thank you so much for the heads up I also ground them up and give them to my horses when I hear congestion I grind up about 6 and it makes it go away

Have a special folder just for your advice so I can get to it fast. I’m trying to avoid the Vet but they won’t refill her heart worm pills if I don’t go in there every year. The city has a rabies shot rule. It’s every year but I live in the county and it’s every 2 years. She has had her rabies and the booster and that’s all I want her to have. Watched a Veterinarian try to prove to a city council that once was enough. They played with their phones etc until his time was up.

Heart worm pills are i'v er mec tin, right? You can get i'v er mec tin online for horses and adjust the dose by weight. I agree with you about not getting more vaccines. I think they are the bread and butter of vet practices, so they push for the annual boosters.

I was told to use Vitamin A to treat kennel cough. It helps regenerate soft tissue . I would even recommend it for humans with dry cough.

My pup got his cough after vaccines. It seems that it is common for dogs cough after DHPP vaccines.
Great tip. I just gotta figure out how to give it to my pooch. She runs like the wind! What would you recommend for a "reverse cough"? An alternative to otc histamines?

My senior dog coughs after drinking water or after waking up.
I gave him some honey. That helps as long as I continually give it to him. I worry about the amount of sugar and stops after 2 days.
I give your advice a thumb up. Just pour it onto the meal and it will be consumed easily, 2x a day.
I've been using Lemon, honey and food grade aloe for years. You can finally find it at Walmart and not just at the health food store. I use equal amounts and the aloe liquefies the honey. No hot water needed.
My boy has chronic bronchitis I can't pay every month for a vet appointment and I would definitely love to go natural. I this good for a chronic bronchitis

Hi Dr Jones. I am trying to find information on the use of black cumin seed oil and dogs. Do you know anything about this and its most common uses and dosages? I have heard a story of a horse that was cured of asthma in Germany. I have heard that for people BCS oil is good for many things. Wondering if the same applies to dogs. My dog licks his paws incessantly. Wondering if he has something internally that needs to be treated, not just ACV soaks.

My dog has a lump under the skin which is a bit hard to touch but movable...... I don't wonna take him to vet and start chemotherapy. I wonna treat my pup in a natural and easiest way possible........ so kindly say whether turmeric can be used as monotherapy to treat cancer or also as a preventive measure for cancer (if my pup doesn't have a cancer)

I agree. Putting an animal under for a routine dental cleaning does seem extreme, especially when general anesthesia has been linked to problems in humans. I've had two vets, one in the US, one outside of the US, scrape off tartar from my cat's teeth using their thumb nail. The one in the US said it was not a substitute for a thorough dental cleaning, but I'm wondering if it might not be just as good.

Hello Dr Jones an Tula ❤is it ok to use unpasteurized raw manuka honey mono floral ?? And a 🍋?? My dog is coughing after he eats an drinks so he rather not . And he is extremely tired an sleeps and last-night he looked very uncomfortable while trying to sleep kept moving around like he was hot or restless and his breathing was definitely not the same . It seemed faster . Im so worried because i have not got his shots he has been do . He had a cough before but it goes away and now its back for like the 3 rd time . Every time he is around the other dogs I believe. Please help
Does this mean you no longer recommend SURO syrup ? Awhile ago you did suggest it so I've been giving it to my Cushing's boy ever since, one tsp at bedtime for his on going cough. It has done wonders for his cough, BUT. If it is not good for his overall health I will stop ASAP. PLEASE advise.

I have not given h+l but a teaspoon of Manuka h upon returning from walk in winter mornings. Sometimes with a ts coconut oil for my 17kg bitza followed by 100ml warm water. Is it ok?

I have a question I hope you could answer for me. I have a 6 lb yorkie who is 9 1/2 years. She has IBD and had 1 bout of pancreatitis over 1 yr ago. I feed her low fat ground turkey and ground pork tenderloin with all fat removed and lean 5% ground beef. I cook 75% meat and add 25% ground fresh vegetables like Spinach, broccoli, zucchini. Etc.

Hello doctor, I hope you can answer my question I have a 3 year old Yorkie his name is puppy. I’m in a desperate need for some answers. Puppy is been struggling for with dry skin all over from head to toes for a year now. We came to find out that he has mites. Puppy has very bad ordor too. The vet prescribed Bravecto tablet. Did I motion that he is extremely small weights just a little over 4lbs. We are worried about the side effects during and after treatment. We have not given it to him yet. The vet he’s been seeing told us he had dry skin for a whole year now until I did my own research and demanded to take a sample and look at it under microscope 🔬 he said he found mites. I still don’t trust this vet. Can you please recommend me something that would not harm his health or if you can tell me how safe is this Bravecto. If anyone else is reading this I could use some advice so please any out there can give me some advice. It brakes my heart to my puppy go through this.

I just found out today my 13yr Chow mix has lung cancer too. Went in to Vet because of cough i thought was tracheal related, but after ex ray it showed tumors in lungs.
I was shocked. Never expected to hear that. How long did they give your dog? Mine said a few weeks to a few months. Trying to make his remaining days the best.

My rescue dog who is about 10, has had a cough since I adopted it 7 years ago. It’s getting a little more prevalent with age. Sometimes gags after hacking. I believe someone choked him on the neck or when he escaped the abuser, maybe had to weasel out of a collar. When rescued, was a stray, so background story is unknown. So I started to worry recently as I mentioned, it seems more frequent in recent times. I believe it is collapse of trachea. When I put collars on, the choking and coughing always occurs. Harness is best but sometimes even drama gets the hack and gag happening. Any suggestions or ideas? I can try the natural cough remedy here but should I just do it everyday?

My dog once got a hold of and ate a loaf of bread. Then she quickly became diabetic.

My 15 year old Jack Russell has chronic bronchitis, can he have anaesthetic, he has anal adenomas , in tact, and needs a dental 🤷♀️😱
And i dont have any money to take him to the Vet 😢
